The variety of stores here is like a buffet for your wallet, offering a little something for everyone. I love visiting occasionally to shop and hang out with friends. It's a great spot to bond over spontaneous purchases and the eternal debate of whether we really need another pair of shoes. I used to be a regular here, practically a mall rat. But, you know, adulting happened. Still, every trip down these halls is a stroll down memory lane. Malls are like dinosaurs - magnificent, nostalgic, and unfortunately, a bit endangered. But I hope this one never goes extinct. It holds too many memories, and let's be real, where else am I going to find a place with such a perfectly balanced blend of capitalism and camaraderie in the five boroughs?

The experience is set up inside a storefront right by the archway by the movie theater/laser bounce area. They set up a beautiful backdrop, decorations, and Santa is there waiting on his bench. Santa was SO NICE and kind and really took time talking to the kids and engaged with them. He spent so much time with the kids and it was so wonderful and not rushed. The employees are so friendly and take beautiful photos and show you the photos in case you want to retake any. The photo packages are reasonably priced and they take so many pictures! We had such a wonderful and positive experience. It's always so difficult finding any reviews online so if you're unsure, we can say that we definitely recommend meeting Santa at Atlas Park Mall!

Maxx, Marshalls, Dallas BBQ, Chipotle, Panera, Iron Age Korean Steakhouse, Champion Pizza, and Teriyaki One. Majority of these businesses are chain. I came here specifically for bubble tea at Gong Cha which is a small indoor kiosk. This site was the former department store Alexander's. With my family, I had previously shopped at Alexander's back in the day. Ah, nostalgia brew. There is a free parking lot and a two (2) hour metered parking lot available. It is very accessible via MTA NYC Transit buses: Q38, Q59, Q88, Q60, Q72. Their parking rates, even though they keep raising the rates, are still the most reasonable rates in Flushing. When I first started parking here, the rates were $3/3 hrs (what a steal!!)....they are now $6/3hrs, but still great rates! They also offer special rates if parking for the Mets Games. I wish they'd fix their pay stations though! Currently, you can only pay when you exit on the ground floor. They lines to exit sometimes get backed up because ppl can't seem to figure out how to pay....go figure! The shops: Is it me, or are they losing a lot of stores? Their anchor stores (BJs, Target, Sky foods) remain the same but some of the retail stores seem to close abruptly.

I purchased a Hello Kitty and Friends Latte Bear Fitness Figure Blind Box ($17.99), Hello Kitty and Friends Chill Capybara Vinyl Plush Figure Blind Box ($29.99), and a pack of stickers ($1.99). Miniso Members can get a complimentary event tote with a $65+ purchase, but there were signs that the tote were sold out. My friend chose a TOPTOY Sanrio Characters Fantasy Fairy Tale Blind Box ($24.99). Lady M Pop-Up at Tangram was also back! I picked up a slice of Green Tea Mousse Cake ($10) and Checkers ($11.50). It's not the most organized place on Earth but they do have dressing rooms and had a present attendant to assist you in getting one. I found a cute sweater that when I tried it on, felt like was made for me so I opted to get it. Little did I know that meant joining and endless line that swerved into narrow rows that if you suddenly changed your mind, you'd be trapped in. Also, I hope you don't object to children and families because I definitely saw quite a few of them here though none bothered me and I actually felt reassured that home training and good family values still happen since the family in front of me behaved respectfully, the parents were attentive and they seemed like a functional family that cared about one another. Those rows are far from boring since you'll see all kinds of items there. I opted to include a hairbrush since I needed one and you probably can't have too many of them. The line did move, I got my items checked out and ended up on my way. I haven't usually found things here but if you have time and want something badly enough to brave the long line, you might just find something that fits the bill.

The bedding area is where it gets tricky. You can find a nice bed in a bag but it's always a king size. It's rare for an nyc apartment to have a king size bed in it so I'm guessing that's why kings are always there. They literally have so many sizes here, there's home goods, pet stuff and electronics. It's pretty much like every other marshals you'd go to. Just remember about that line I mentioned earlier, it's a killer especially when there isn't a lot of people at the reregister.
