Two of their attorneys "best friends" (uh, how does that make you a good attorney?) have an IG account that they use for marketing. Their names are Chelesea and Caroline and they are truly ridiculous, trolling for followers on IG. I wasn't aware this was a big market technique of law firms. Oh wait, it's not. They use SHADY AF marketing techniques - they try to follow the private accounts of people in the Roanoke area (or those who follow other Roanoke businesses) to try and up their IG follower count. This is against IG's Terms of Service and it's one of the shadiest things marketers do on social media. This means these attorneys use underhanded means to try and build their clientele - instead of using their brains, WINS and thorough knowledge of the law to gain more clients. I commented on their post (as they clearly want people to engage with their IG). Did they respond professionally? Did they address the shady practices? Nope. They deleted the comment. Just as you'd expect shady lawyers to do - not address their behavior, but just ignore it. Today I got another follow request from them and I'm OVER IT.
