Everything sounds good when you go in the store but upon delivery the driver…read moredropped the wrong gravel and as I was trying to get his attention to tell him it was the wrong stuff he dumped it all in one spot and they had said they were going to spread it for us. Tried calling the store and had to leave a message and finally got a phone call about 4 days later and soon as I told him what he had done he copped and attitude and I asked for a refund and he just got mad and hung up the phone

We purchased 15 yards of medium red bark from here and were told it would be delivered the following Tuesday at 10:30 am. They ended up showing 3 hours later than we were told but, that's not even why I'm giving them a 1 star rating. I met the man outside and he handed me a copy of the invoice they wrote up when we purchased the bark. Everything looked correct on the invoice, until he dumped the bark. It was a completely different bark than we had ordered. It was a dark fine bark. I politely told the man that he had brought the wrong bark. He told me this is what I had ordered. I showed him the invoice and it clearly read med. red bark. He got upset and said that I got a really good deal because this bark was much better than what I had ordered and more expensive as well. I told him I understood what he was saying but I had ordered the medium red bark. He then told me well this is so much better and will cut down the weeds 60% better than the red bark. I told him once again I ordered the medium red bark. He then got upset and said well what do you want me to do? Do you want me to bring a back hoe up here and take it back. I said yes. He then angrily replied well I'm not going to do that. I said I ordered the medium red bark and that is what we paid for. He said well I don't know what to do I guess I read the invoice wrong and told me to call the office. He got into his truck and left taking out part of a rock wall we had in our yard. My husband contacted the office and they told him that we had gotten a deal and that we could have the dark fine bark they had dumped in our yard for free. He told them we had already paid for the bark so we weren't getting it for free nor did we want it for free. We just wanted what we paid for, the medium red bark. The lady on the other line told him that we could come in for a refund. He told her we would be in there on Friday. Friday morning we went in to get our refund and my husband was bombarded by both the owners, the man being the one who had actually delivered the bark and the lady my husband had talked to on the phone. They repeatedly told him how much better this dark fine bark was and that we were hurting their small business. He told them that they were more than welcome to come and get the bark they had dumped and give us what we originally ordered. The man said that it would cost too much for him to do that. The lady told him that we could bring it back ourselves. My husband said so you want me to spend my money to bring it back even though you were the ones who made the mistake?! (We live about 30 minutes away from this place). She replied yes. The other owner kept repeating that we are hurting their small business and that he would only refund the difference of their cost and what we had paid. My husband said that is unacceptable. The man told him well it's just that this has happened to us several times and we as a small business can't take this. Really, cause it is our fault that you brought the wrong bark?! My husband requested a full refund and told him that we had tried to help a small business by coming there in the first place. They eventually gave him a check and told him to never come back there again. We weren't looking for free bark or to hurt them as a business, we simply wanted 15 yards of medium red bark. Unless you want to run the risk of getting something you didn't order and then have a guilt trip and a fight on your hands I would definitely try some other place. On a side note we called around to several other businesses in the area and they were a tad cheaper than this place as well. If I could give this place less than one star I absolutely would.
