My relationship with Woods Bay Marine Service has been well in excess of 20 years. Over a series of three boats that I store my self I take the boat in as soon as I arrive at Swan Lake to be summarized and after a quick turn around I retrieve the boat lake ready. They not only summarize the boat, but also they make sure it is in good working order. In the fall the winterization is the reverse. Last fall when I picked up the boat the outdrive had been removed because there was a leak and they fixed it over the winter. Again quick turn around. On occasions when a malfunction occurred during the season they worked diligently to locate and solve the problem. My impression is that their overhead is lower and their rates for their work are more reasonable than the big dealers in Kalispell. I had problems when I took my jet skis into town to one of the dealers (who will remain nameless)--I frankly don't know have some of them remain in business.
There are many people in the Flathead Valley who have Woods Bay perform a turn key service, taking the boats out of the water, storing them and then returning them to the owners dock.
