I brought my kids, and as someone with years of horse experience, I wanted to help them get on and settled. I was told, "We've got it." No, these are my children. They're comfortable with me, and if something goes wrong, I'm the one who's going to protect them--not the staff. I trust my experience far more than theirs, so I helped my kids anyway. The trail ride was unbelievably boring. The guide had no personality and made the entire experience feel like a chore instead of something fun. What bothered me the most was the condition of the horses. They looked dirty, and from what I observed, they appeared neglected. The tack also didn't look like what I'd expect from a business charging people $60 per person. Sixty dollars per person for that? Absolutely ridiculous and completely overpriced. My husband, my kids, and I all regretted spending our money here. I felt awful for the horses, and there is no chance we'll ever come back. Save your money and go somewhere else. I would give them negative stars if I could!!!!

My family visited to see a horse…read moreand that same day, we made it clear that we wanted to move forward with purchasing him and would pay in cash pending the vet's clearance. We were simply waiting on final feedback from the vet and felt confident about the next steps. However, we were later told that the horse had been shown to another interested party who ended up placing a deposit. At no point during our visit or follow-up were we informed that a deposit was required to secure him. We absolutely would have placed a deposit immediately if that had been communicated. We were told an email had been sent, but it was missed during a busy workday. Given how time-sensitive these situations are, a quick phone call would have made all the difference--especially since we were only contacted by phone after the horse was no longer available.  Overall, the lack of clear and timely communication was extremely frustrating and left us heartbroken. We hope this feedback encourages better communication practices in the future so other families don't have a similar experience.

Kudos! We were there today to see our grand daughter as she took lessons in riding as part of a…read moregroup of other girls. I could not have been more impressed with how that was done. The girls were involved with getting their horses ready to ride, including scrapping the dirt from out of their hooves. It was clear that the staff were teaching little girls how to be around the animals, how to care for them and how to respect them. The instructions were simple and clear; the number of staff in the ring to provide any necessary attention was amazing. The look on the faces of the little girls was priceless!
