Seems pretty quiet but at the same time its pretty crowded. Oh one more thing, there's a lot of huge cats roaming freely in the area..

We were looking at some homes there and wanted…read moreinformation about the park, she acted so strange as if the details of the park was a security issue. She made it sound like we had to buy a house first and THEN apply. We had to sit in the office and read the information on the park, we weren't allowed to take the application with us. We went and looked at a home and came back to The office and then she ask us aren't we going to take the information.??? When earlier she wouldn't let us leave the room with it!!! I think something fishy is going on there. The park was bought by a California company. We visited another park at it felt normal and the office personnel gave us everything we needed, sat down and talked to us even and was helpful. Not Daneland, the office lady was very odd.

This 55 and older park was/has been decent, until today when I realized this place has zero concern…read morefor the well being of their tenants. Eugene NEVER gets snow so it's understandable that the park does not own their own snow plow. But after getting 1 foot of snow in 24hrs and another snow storm expected tonight you would think that they would have a plan in place for the well being of their tenants. I called this morning after getting over to my grandmas house to find even in a 4 wheel drive SUV I was high centered and barely able to get through the park. The front office lady "Melissa" answered, I asked "does Daneland have plans to plow the roads?" She responded with "No!" I said, is the city going to plow the roads and she said "No this is private property they only do public roads" I then asked "how are the elderly tenants that rely on walking to the bus stop or driving their small 2 wheel drive vehicles supposed to be able to get out of their driveways for emergencies or groceries?" She responded with "we are under no obligation to plow these roads, it's not in your rental contract either" I responded with "I am not talking about obligation but what about human decency? Your entire park is made up of elderly who likely can't shovel their own driveways and/or push their walkers or wheelchairs through a foot of snow" she said "we are currently snow blowing the parking lot to the community room and that's all we are planning to do" at this point her office coworker could be heard in the back ground and she was reintegrating what Melissa had been saying, so now Melissa says to me "this conversation is over I am hanging up" and she hung up on me. Not 2 minutes after hanging up the phone I get a call from Norco which is the company that provides my grandma oxygen, they called to ask if my grandma still had power and if not if she would like some portable oxygen to use until the power came back on...THIS IS THE COMMON COURTESY I AM TALKING ABOUT!! Daneland has a maintenance crew that could have drove around the park packing the snow down at the very least, or called a private company to help with snow removal. I realize they are not "Obligated" to do this but what happened to compassion? I called the city to ask for a courtesy snow plow and they were not able to provide the service, but she was super nice on the phone and was extremely apologetic. It was basic courtesy that she provided. Daneland lacks this and I can not wait to move my grandma out of this place.

I should get to grieve that week and plan a funeral not worry about moving. Also, when my dad bought his house Cory told him a carport would be included. Once my dad decided to move forward Cory changed his mind and said my dad would have to pay for his own carport. Seems extremely weird since they own the land and any structures minus the manufactured home. They act caring but I assure you they are not. Would not recommend this place to anyone. They will nickel and dime you every chance they get and take advantage of the older community.

Golden Oaks - They Nip the Tree Tops they Refuse to Maintain The Trees or Fire Danger

i bought a mobile home in this park 7 years ago. golden oaks senior mobile home park was the place…read moreto live until ipg group bought the park. since ipg took over the park has been run into the dirt, the first thing ipg did was to cut the amenities such as water sewer service, next they fired 1 full time on site manager and 2 maintenance employees leaving this 117 unit park with bare bones in management and maintenance 1 part time manager and 1 full time maintenance worker. dee and zach work their ass's off to keep golden oaks livable with ipg micro managing services for this park in every aspect imaginable. ipg cut the electricity to the heated pool in this senior park to save this hedge fund corporation money at the expense and safety of our seniors. We can swim in McKenzie River cold water making it impossible for us with old injuries and severe arthritis, the old solar sheet that now heats the water is ready to go by end of September at 86*f. IPG is replacing the electric safety lights with solar lights in Oregon this is the first time emergency vehicles have to use spotlights to find the person in distress, maintenance cuts for the overgrown dying trees that yearly damage our mobile homes and property with the yearly promises to have them professionally cleared out. now ipg has changed their plans and now "the tenants are responsible" for the damage and must pay out of pocket to maintain the corporate trees to protect corporate profits. there is only one entrance and exit in case of fire emergency we the tenants are left to fend for ourselves and most will not make it out to survive. ipg does not care about the quality of life for seniors only "profits"!! they refuse to pressure wash the moss off the sidewalks leaving us to slip and fall. they shut down our billiards room, exercise equipment is old and run down, laundry room equipment is set so low that it takes $5 to dry 2 pr jeans, they removed our community bbq family area and put in 5 estate mobiles to provide them with yet higher profits. all in all ipg group is the worst management group in oregon their attitude is we don't care and we don't have to!! i moved in paying $540 a month now they are charging $1050 while they cut every corner they can for profits knowing full will golden oaks senior park is a fire trap waiting for the next fire to clear off the land. if it wasn't for dee and zach this senior park would be hell ‼ we the tenants want to buy the park to restore it back to the paradise it use to be before ipg management group bought it and destroyed our homes. next, the park snitch who regularly complains about the rest of the tenants just because she loves to gutter snipe her neighbors with the feeling of her superiority directly to ipg corporate. making what peace we do enjoy completely miserable. if i would have known how gluttonous and greedy ipg actually is i would have never bought a mobile home here. you can call or write to complain to the corporate management about the lack of respect they have for seniors and services cut by ipg then but, they ignore you. my insurance company will fight any tree damage due to the fact ipg uses the excuse that the damage is an act of god (while we pay ipg to maintain their trees not god) this will be considered as an deliberate act and not god and i will have to fight ipg for the damage the trees cause to my mobile home. I pay insurance to protect ipg. i highly recommend you run from ipg management group before you end up like the 117 mobile home residents at golden oaks ‼ lastly ipg raise the rent yearly to cover what they call maintenance that we the tenants are now left to maintain on our own, funny how they raise the rent to cover maintenance leaving tenants to do the work maintenance use to do. So, We pay ipg to work for them to cover the maintenance cuts for free... Ugg! we are old and many are house bound in walkers on oxygen and just plain old broken down. ipg group motto is... profits before the all people.

Her adding her cover her IPG Propoerty Manegement by back dating paperwork, IPG would think she knew about it before it happened! IPG Golden Oaks Manager doesnt even deserve a star!
