I invested a great deal of time visiting woodhaven and trying to find the correct location for my family. A week ago today we found a site that would have been perfect but we were concerned about the size of our existing camper so I went out to take measurements and provide them to our realtor. I explained I had never taken measurements before and would try. I provided measurements and was told the measurements totaled 419 square feet so it was not going to fit in the park as they only allow 400 square feet. I explained the title from the state of Illinois was only 320 square feet and even with the kick outs I didn't see an extra 99 square feet being possible. I believed a mistake had been made. My husband then sat down with me and asked me to go over measurements with him because he wasn't understanding what I had written (and he's been in the camper several times). Once I explained to him the numbers we came up with 400 square feet. We even went back out to our camp site and remeasured and came up with 400 square feet. You would think this would be great news but no! No one will talk to us, return phone calls or answer text messages. In my opinion a clear violation of a realtors code of ethics. Every time we try and talk to someone we are told our camper is 419 square feet so it won't fit! You would think if they had any doubt they would ask to come measure themselves or provide us with information on someone they trust to come out and measure. I am beyond disheartened with the lack of professionalism and decency from our realtor and this group and then whoever talked to my husband from ESAC. Once she found out who he was and why he was calling she wouldn't even listen to the fact a mistake had been made. Beware of this reality group. I'm not sure what the back story is and why they wouldn't want to sell a property and have someone bring in a newer camper but it is very clear they do not. Very difficult to work with. Hard to reach, doesn't return phone calls or emails promptly (as realtors should do) and doesn't strive to get listing price. She's much too quick to encourage low ball offers. If you'd like your property to take 6-12 months to sell, then she's your lady. If you'd like to sell quicker and have much better customer service and attitude -- then choose *any* other realtor. read more
