This guy saved the day! Make that the week!!!…read more We came to port with one broken sail and another just about to break. We had previously been calling other ports on our way south from a the Columbia River with absolutely no luck. We left a message on the answering machine and within 30 minutes got a call back. Turns out it was the proprietor's day off and he called anyway! What happens next is nothing short of amazing. He drives down to our boat to see if we can make a repair with his equipment and then loads our sails and takes us back to his shop. What an awesome human being!!! Keep in mind that his specialty isn't sail repair but he helped us out anyway. With our repairs complete we're continuing our journey south to San Diego. Rommel, you are our savior! I'm disappointed. I heard good things about Gil's Upholstery so I waited my turn in line to have my…read morevan seats reupholstered. When I picked up my van, both arm rests spun around in circles and the passenger seat would not recline. "Bring it back in a few weeks and I'll fix it". Mr. Gil replaced a cable that allowed the passenger seat to now recline and he fixed one arm rest from spinning around but I would need to return again for him to fix the arm rest on the passenger seat. "I'm just so busy, I don't know when I can get you in". This job started in September, it's now February. I'll find a new upholster.
