I called for an emergency consult and they were able to fit me in the same morning. I waited a bit when i got there but was ok with that since i was not on the schedule. Dr. Rissolo came in, took a look and noticed so much swelling, he said he would be able to pull the tooth the same day but i had to go back to work. He rinsed and cleaned the area and prescribed antibiotics so i was comfortable enough for the procedure the next week. Week later (today lol) went back for removal and was extremely nervous, he explained what he was doing every step of the way and made sure i was ok. Explained post procedure care and made sure i was comfortable before i left. I would recommend Dr. Rissolo over and over again!

Decided to go somewhere closer to home and my sister in-law recommended me here. I've NEVER EVER had such a horrible experience like I had this morning. The dentist was so rough and sloppy that I thought I was being pranked. She treated my teeth as if they were made out of metal or as if I was a horse! I was slobbering all over and down my neck while she held the suction thing over my face above my top lip! When I had a chance I asked for a paper towel and she told me to use the paper apron I had on. I couldn't wait til she was done. When she said to make an appointment for my broken filling I was supposed to assume I was to rinse and was done. I'm guessing I have no cavities, just a broken filling. I was so disgusted with the lack of carefulness, communication, and overall vibe. I spoke to my sister in law and explained what happened. She began saying that that's how teeth cleaning is" No, I'm 39 and have gotten at least 50 teeth cleanings done in my lifetime. She then says "maybe because you were nervous or had anxiety coming in" No, I was excited and like I said, eager to get my teeth examined. She then says "it's because she's by herself and doesn't have an assistant" Okay?! Should I be more understanding because they're understaffed? Shouldn't have preformed any services if it's best done with an assistant especially if I'm a new patient. I was hoping to love this place so I could make appointments for my mom and son. So glad I was the guinea pig and didn't put my loved ones through this experience. I will be recommending my sister-in-law to my previous dentist 25 miles away so she can finally see the difference of what a dentist appointment should be like.

The pain did not subside, so I went back a few days later and the female dentist did my x rays and told me nothing was wrong with my teeth. I knew that was incorrect because my prior dentist already confirmed I had a cavity. Anyway she began to clean my teeth and I had to stop her because it hurt so bad. It felt like she was drilling them so deeply. After that she sent me home with the same pain and told me to come back in 3 months. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! As soon as I walked out of their office I scheduled an appointment with Dr.Dental for the next day. They helped find the root of my issue. I had 2 cavities and needed my wisdom tooth taken out. The dentist at Dr. Dental wanted me back immediately, so she could help me as soon as possible. She was so gentle and caring unlike "Quality" Dental. I really feel like Quality Dental had no regards for me more or their other patients as I heard an older woman complaining about her destroyed crown as I was in the waiting room. I will never go back to this office again even if my teeth depended on it!!!!

I (like most people) dread the idea of oral surgery and was worried when my regular dentist explained that I would need to have two molars extracted due to a crown that was never quite right and caused the decay of the adjacent tooth. Long story short, my experience couldn't have been better. The staff was very friendly and understanding and the doctor did an amazing job. The teeth were removed and the recovery was virtually painless, even with just ibuprofen. I would certainly recommend Dr. Alkhatib and OSA in Fairfield.
