What a lovely surprise! Wonderpots opened recently in Westbahnhof and I had to try this place out.
I love the way it looks. Bright, friendly, welcoming, with a few seats. The concept is easy to understand - there are several cup sizes, you pick your cup, fill it up with different flavours of frozen yoghurt, then choose some of the free toppings and pay. Here you only pay for the cup size and not for how much does your cup actually weigh after you have filled it up with yoghurt - this is great because you can be sure that there won't be any surprises regarding the price.
They also have smoothies and coffee, but everyone is here for the frozen yoghurt.
On the other hand, 4,20 for the medium cup is maybe a tiny bit too much. And that cup is really not that huge.
Also the things (emmm...handles? sticks?) you push for filling up your cup with yoghurt are simply not working. You have to push them very hard, then try to figure out whether the yoghurt is actually coming out or not, and then you have probably pushed too hard because you end up with yoghurt everywhere. They have a stack of tissues ready for you, though. So... be careful!
But even after all the mess, I love the taste of this frozen yoghurt. Apparently it is low-fat, which explains why it feels very light and not that unhealthy as normal ice-cream. Two friends of mine thought that it's just too boring, but for me it is perfect. read more
