there nails are okay and look nice. But probably the worst place for customer service, they were so rude and disrespectful here. The mother there is the worst and so is the daughter. They would make faces and stare and say or talk rudely to me and it was really frustrating I wanted to get out of there asap!! They also charge you different every single time you go witch is so annoying, my friend told me they were going to charge 25 extra for just chrome! Loved this place! Vietnamese owned and run. Despite being understaffed and very busy they were very patient and polite. People should try to understand that this is COVID and a lot of places don't have enough service workers! They were extremely efficient, but the quality was still absolutely amazing. They are better than some of the salons in LA. Make an appointment before you come in. It's a good chance they won't have space for you if you don't. I had a great experience with a younger woman who did my acrylic manicure, and I absolutely loved the design. However, less than 2 weeks later one nail was lifting so I went back in to ask to have it fixed. An older woman was extremely rude and said it was my fault for having natural nails, my fault that I wanted it to last, and that she isn't liable for it. I had been willing to pay to get it fixed but after being treated like that by her I will never be going back or recommending anyone else to. read more

Gorgeous interior! Very clean! The employees are very nice and do a great job! I've come here for pedicures a couple times and the massage chairs are very comfortable and they do a great job tending to my overworked feet. They are also very cautious about sanitation. read more

Very poor customer service. Marvin was intentionally rude. I had an appointment and he purposely took other walk-ins after I sat there for an hour. They were actually talking negative about a frequent customer. I would not recommend their service. There are a lot of other high quality nail salons. Could of been a 4 star but a horrible nail removal brings it down to two. Went in to get some Lady Gaga "claw" nails. They came out just like I wanted and lasted a good 2 weeks until I had the inch to get them filled. The nail polish did lose its shine within a week but I just repainted them with my own nail polish and to help make the grow out not look too bad. The fill lasted another 2 weeks but then I needed them removed for a short trip. Went in and asked for nails to be removed. Sat down. Then she proceeded to get out a fake acrylic nail tip. She then wedged that nail under my fake nail to "pop" them off. I looked around to see if other people in the salon saw what was happening. No one seemed to cry but clearly saw what was going on. It was slightly painful. Besides two being extremely painful. Ripping my nails to shreds. Me, who has never had my nails professionally removed before. Thought they were to be soaked off with acid tone. For $10 I could do this had at home like I've done before this and ruin my own nails for free. I was right about being soaked when I asked around after this iccident. Lesson: educate yourself when you walk into a place that speaks very little English to you. Also speak up when every you question something that is happening. I feel used & my nails abused! read more

I've only had one issue with a rude comment from the lady doing my nails. I spoke up and have never had an issue since. The wait time is normal, I've been going here for years and still wait even with setting appointments. Overall, I enjoy coming here as they do great work. read more

Unfortunately had the worst nail experience ever. was treated like garbage & called a liar when my nails didn't turn out how i had asked. He made me bleed twice & cut me 3 other times with the little grinder machine and he never apologized once. My fingers are so sore today. They charged me for redoing my nails and complained to me about how i was taking up more of his time. i was in tears. i just went to treat myself for my bday and it turned out to be an awful experience. The guy who did my nails wore glasses and had tattoos covering both arms and was older. i hope he was just having a very very off day and that he never treats anyone else like this again read more

Staff are extremely nice. You'll probably wait 20-30 minutes (even if you are on time for your appointment), but this is standard for this type of salon and price point. As a customer, you need to understand that this type of salon needs to support itself with more people per hour to try and make back some of they money they're missing out on by not charging you more. If you don't have time for the extra wait, go to an actual salon and pay the premium. You can't have your cake and eat it too: don't be a jerk. lol I paid $35 for a gel french, which is about what I'm used to. I wish nail salons did not share nail files and filing pads between customers here in Wisconsin, but so far, everywhere I've gone does it, so it must be legal (it's not in NY state). This place was very clean and I felt well-cared for. Again, the staff were lovely. I was very happy with my understated glitter french--she shaped them perfectly and cleaned my cuticles well (they are always ragged and it's hard to find people who will take the time to clean them up nicely--which, she totally did). This nail salon is absolutely beautiful on the inside, unfortunately the pedicure service my friend and I received was subpar. We had to wait 40 minutes to be seated in a chair (when the salon was not even half full), another 20 minutes before anyone filled up our foot baths, and another 10 minutes before someone saw us. We were never offered something to drink or made to feel like we were valued as customers. I'm disappointed to see that this place has been reviewed poorly. I have acrylic nails that were put on by them and I get them filled there. I also go for pedicures and take my friends. We have received great service. This is the kind of place though that reservations don't really mean much. You have to show up at the right time. This place is busy for a reason... They do good work. Terrible. Worst mail salon I've ever been to. They told me a 30 min wait. 90 minutes later, I got a rush job m/p that only took her 30 min total. There was no mani or pedi involved. I've been to Wonder Nails several times and I wanted to get my acrylics taken off to give my nails a break. So I made the appointment and when I went in the lady was very rude and disrespectful, because I guess they don't make appointments for that. I told her that I made it the day before and she said that a full set was written down. I told her the person that made the appointment with me asked if it was for them to come off and I said yes. She was rude and made me sit down and helped someone else. I was so frustrated and pissed that I got up and went somewhere. I have been to wonder nails multiple times and normally I am very pleased. However my last experience was quite different. There new location is gorgeous and very chic. I went there to get a set of acrylic nails placed on. There was a teenage boy who helped me that you could tell was not used to doing this procedure. He kept asking for help and then multiple times had to take the glued on tips off and replace them because they were crooked. Then the owner came over to finish the job and the whole time was on his cell phone approximately 15 minutes on his phone while doing my nails. Customers kept looking at me because they couldn't believe he would be on his phone. Then he got up and went to the back room while I sat for another 7 mins while another customer came to me and said how unprofessional he was being. After he finished and I had left I had air bubbles under most of my nails the next day and when they normally last over two weeks they didn't make it past a week before coming unglued. The nail tech was pleasant, but my nails did not look professionally done. I had a mani and pedi. When finished, my nails were of quite visible varied length and shape. There was no attempt at matching them. My thumb and pinky nails on one hand were left extremely long. I kept thinking, well, she's not done. Cuticles were not pushed back and trimmed very well. New polish went over my old polish on my toes. I tried telling her a couple of times the old polish needed to be removed. She just pleasantly smiled and said "yes." It never happened. The next thing I knew she was applying the polish. It was a light color and I don't think she could see it, even though I still could. I'm guessing it was a communication factor. Perhaps some techs do a nice job, but I was not happy with my final services. It was like she was just going through the motions. I will not return. read more

The new location may be nice and all but there is always a very big problem with timing here and communication. The owners do not take into consideration their customers time or simply DO NOT CARE. Not treating new or returning customers very inviting. Walk-ins are welcome their sign says upon coming in you are made to wait which is fine, you are given a time always 15-20 min but then your forgotten so upon asking how much longer, the same time you initially waited, they tell you to wait again. .. its ludicrous. They need more staff to help the 2 people to do manis and shellac and acrylic is utterly ridiculous......They have no regard of your time. I hadn't returned in many years taking my business to the competitor near Walmart but had a coupon card that allowed me to earn a free shellac. It was hard even making the decision to return for this "free" earning but i was in the neighborhood so I gave me them another shot needed services asap. The place itself is clean and decorated nicely. The employees were quiet, didn't talk much, hardly smiled. I got a mani pedi. I felt like the women rushed to get it over with, like it was an extreme inconvenience to do my nails. The pedicure was ok, quick, not very relaxing.
