I was looking for a quick pedicure so stopped in here as my usual place was booked solid. One lady used the grinder to get my polish ready to soak off and then left. Another lady came to do pedicure, pumice stone was no pressure and massage was awful. She had no idea how to use nippers. Then another lady sat down and aggressively did my cuticles and had me put my feet back in water with no plastic in basin. Then she sits a guy down about a foot from me to wax his brow - she left me and did his wax - NEVER WASHING HER HANDS. Then back to my nails for one coat of polish. Then off to another lady to do her nails - again no washing. The tools were just transferred from one client to the next. They then charged me $5 more than was on flyer and when I got my change back not intending on tipping. She asked if I wanted to tip for the other lady too. So I guiltily left $5 then sat there waiting on someone to put another coat of poorly painted on polish; she's moved on to a third client as I sat there and waited. I was a walk in on New Year's Day, and there was no wait since I got there shortly after they opened. The lady that did my pedicure was nice and did a good job. The gentleman that did my gel manicure also did a good job. When I asked for a sparkly accent nail he showed me multiple colors until I found one I liked. Overall considering I haven't had a manicure or pedicure in years so I don't have much to compare it to, great experience. read more

Wow... I was looking for a place to get my nails done really quick and this was the spot to go to. First of all Jimmy was so kind and the service I had here matches no other nail places in Beaver Dam (other than star nails which is their partner store). When I first came in, I was kindly set and the talks I had with Jimmy was very comfortable and I felt very welcomed unlike other salon. I got a gel almond for $55 which is a reasonable price and I felt comfortable in asking for a small change with the shape. This place is awesome! I was a walk in and didn't have to wait at all. The guy who did my feet was amazing, and the picture attached is over a week old and my pedi looks the same as the first day he did it! He did a great job, I'd recommend going here. On another occasion, I came here to have my acrylics removed, and the nail tech said my nails hadn't grown out enough so I should wait to take them off. I hadn't heard this before (I didn't have any mail growth) so I just had him trim the acrylics down so I could type for work. So he did a fill and polish change. At first I picked a gold I thought would look good, but he picked a copper for it to go over. After he finished with the nails, I didn't like the color. I should have stopped him, but he also didn't like me if I liked the copper. He ended up taking it all off and doing a light pink which I loved. I felt so bad for making him do extra work, but he was so sweet about it. My nails looked great and he was amazing! read more

If I could give no stars I would. This is by far the worst experience with a nail salon I have ever had. I made an appointment for my daughter (who is a toddler) and myself. I tried to give us enough time before my son would get out of school and off the school bus and to make some snacks. They tell me they're running late by 30 minutes so I tell them that I'll go to get her something to snack on while we wait across the parking lot. We come back and sit. Nearly 2.5 hours later I had seen 6 people new getting serviced. At this point I'm livid. Then, to make matters worse, they sat me all the way in the back of the salon and continuously ignored me because of my race. It was an awful experience. read more

As of December 2017, the pic I posted was of their prices when I went in for the first time. Got a full set of acrylic nails. The more specific the "shape" you want, they charge you an extra $5. Personnel are really nice and are quick to attend you even when it's busy. Would go back again. Be aware that they use drills to file down. The only time they will file by hand is for manicures or pedicures.Would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for waiting 15 minutes and getting knicked when filing. read more

This was a terrible manicure. I got a full set of nails. The place got busy right after I got there so that didn't help. I can see space between my own nail and the fake nail a recipe for nail issues. Then she rushed and didn't even make the nail.lenghts even. One longer than the other. My lengths were uneven due to breaking so that's why I wanted them. I will not return to this salon. read more

Cut several of my toes during the pedicure. I chose 4 different colors and none of them matched the color I picked. The lady was rude the whole time. I finally just told her to do a plain French tip which once done very sloppily, I had to ask her to clean them up since the white was over half the nail. I don't write many reviews, however, I always look everything up before I go. So this newly opened nail salon is located by Walmart and that is how I discovered it. I have been extremely picky about my services I like a very thin overlay over my own nails and for the part next to my cuticle to blend in seemlessly. I also only have my nails buffed so any imperfections are easily noticed, along with any repairs that haven't been filed down correctly. I have only had one other person do ALMOST as good as a job as one of the gentleman owners here. He does such a phenomenal job and listens to each request (seemingly w/o getting annoyed) Since they are still a new business don't let the lack of a big line hold you back. Try them! Got a pretty good pedicure by the girl that is the main one there. read more

Took my wife to my usual place where I get my mani / pedi at while in this part of Wisconsin for work on a weekly basis. We just moved from Sparta, Wisconsin to Pardeeville, Wisconsin She hasn't found a good pedicure in the Portage, Wisconsin area so we drove about 40 miles so she can experience what I get on a month basis. She was totally impressed and said that's what a pedicure is suppose to be like. Totally satisfied and will make it our monthly Saturday date together to pamper ourselves. read more

I had a acrylic set done, first visit was so so but when I went back for my first fill they put a huge glop of acrylic on my nail and left it like that my nail was thick as hell, very unnatural looking! I went to Wonder nails and they fixed it and did a wonderful job with my next manicure. I will only go to Wonder nails now! read more

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! OR BE FORGOTTEN! POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES! I should've known better to return, but I went for my 3rd time here, and every time I've waited 1 - 1.5 hours. Sometimes I've been forgotten. As I'm sitting here now, FOUR people have walked out. ALL of them had appointments. They mentioned the staff continued to take people as WALK-IN'S, even ahead of them (they realized later). They do excellent work here, but if they cannot handle the workload, don't waste people's time, and don't schedule them inappropriate appointment times! Be prepared to waste your day! read more

Worst nail salon ever. Nails lasted 3 days before popping off one by one. When approaching the shop for a refund (no refund policy posted by the way) they refused. This was the WORST pedicure I have ever gotten. The woman was super friendly until I chose the BASIC 28$ pedicure rather than the 40$ spa pedi. She immediately became rough and impatient. Start to finish it took her 9 min to do cuticles, lotion, warm towel, and polish. When she handed my change back she held her hand out and said"tip" while I organized the bills to go back into my wallet. read more

I love going to this salon. They are always so respectful and get you nails done in a considerate amount of time. However, one time when I asked for marble acrylic, it looked like a 2 year old did it. Thankfully they understood that I didn't like it and they changed it to a different design that was much better. I just tried this location for the first time ever because it's closer to home and in a convenient location. However, I had to come back four days later to have them redo the top coat of a dip manicure. I understand that each salon has different techniques, but one of the benefits of a dip manicure is that you aren't exposed to the UV light (as you are with a shellac/gel manicure). Both times they used the light to do a top coat, even after I mentioned that I've never had that happen, and that the first time it peeled off in 4 days. At other locations the dip manicure lasts 3-4 weeks, and this time I returned less than a week later to have it fixed, and now 5 days after that the color is peeling off as well. I would not recommend this salon if you're doing the dip/powder manicure-- they don't seem to know the technique, yet are still offering it. The workers are nice and friendly, but not worth the hassle. read more

I went for a NO CHIP FRENCH MANICURE on August 24, 2012 and by August 26, 2012, 3 of the tips had peeled off. The entire set was gone by August 28, 2012. So my No Chip Manicure that should have lasted 2 weeks lasted me all of 2 days. I have had this type of manicure done at other places and have never had an issue. I did call and tell them about it and let them know I was on vacation. I was told to come back in when I return and they would fix it. i am returning there today with hopes that they do a better job this time. I will not return after today's appointment as I do not have time to go every few days to have my manicure fixed. I was also not real impressed with the way the business is kept, not very clean and the employees were eating out on the floor and at their work stations. If the manicure hadn't cost me $40, I would not return today for it to be re-done. read more

Disappointed!!! Decided to take my Granddaughters for a pedicure morning, was so happy they could get us in right away, as we had a busy schedule for the day. What started out good became a bad experience. As they tried to squeeze in more people then their staff could handle, we slowly we're forgotten about. As our feet sat in water turning cold.... one of the staff would come and do part of the process...then we would wait...for the next to come and do another. In the end.... some of processes were skipped as, they ran to start other customers. While there, they were turning people away whom had appointments. In the meantime, while we sat waiting.... one of my granddaughters had chosen a manicure, instead of a pedicure. She sat under the dryer for 45 minutes. Two an a half hours later, we were finished. To make matters worse, when we paid and tipped, I was told the tip was NOT enough. Reluctantly I tipped even more. When I look back ... I wish I would of tipped nothing. On top, of running us late for our day.......... the results were, no top coat and chipping paint on toe nails and one whole nail the polish came off in clumps. Under staffed!! Bad service!
