Cloverleaf Ranch is a magical place! Our nine-year-old just returned from his second year of…read moresleep-away camp (He attended the day camp when he was younger.) and he has so many positive things to say. The counselors were fun and supportive. The activities were engaging. Thomas loved the food. This year he encouraged a friend from school to join him. That boy had a great time, and they both made new friends too. Thomas came back with greater confidence and displaying more independence too. We can't wait to get back the pictures he took with his disposable camera! What I love best, besides hearing the stories about him getting up early to care for the horses that he once found intimidating, was the call we received from Dawn mid-week. We weren't worried. We've had great experiences at Cloverleaf. We know the ratios of campers to counselors allows for attentive care. Still, the mid-week phone call telling us how his week was going just reinforced how much the staff really cares. For this reason, Cloverleaf will continue to be a Cremidis family tradition for many years to come. Next year, little brother will be old enough for residential camp and he's already making plans for how he'll spend his time.

I feel like parents should know the teen leaders they employ are from some summer study abroad…read more program and are boys sent here from other countries (New Zealand, Australia, etc.) and they aren't allowed to disclose their names (my daughter's camp leader was named "Cobra"). I didn't feel comfortable with this arrangement and am glad I didn't sign my daughter up for sleep-away camp. She enjoyed the day camp but the staff seemed more concerned with protecting themselves rather than allowing parents to protect their children. I was expecting some nice local horse riding girls to mentor her and instead had to leave her with boys who wouldn't tell me their names. She won't be back.

Review #132 - 2020…read more I've always wanted to take my 4-year old daughter out on a horseback riding adventure, but every place that I've looked into has an age requirement of 8 and up. Sadly, we'd have to wait another 4 years in order for her to enjoy that experience. Luckily, I saw Triple C Ranch's ad pop on my Facebook page for their kids's horseback riding summer camp so I dug in a little deeper to see where they were located and what the age requirement was. I sent Cianna a message on July 6th and she responded almost immediately. We went back and forth on what would work for my daughter and I and we decided to schedule our adventure for Thursday, July 9th at 4 PM. I decided to ask my 11-year old and my 15-year old nieces to see if they would be interested in coming along and they were super excited! The day came and GPS showed that we would arrive at 3:15 PM so I immediately sent Cianna a message asking her if it was ok if we showed up early. She was super sweet & accommodating and agreed to meet us at 3:30 PM. Sadly, because I wasn't familiar with the area and I had no cell reception, we didn't show up until 3:45 PM. So much for GPS! When we arrived, Cianna was still assisting her other customer so I didn't feel too bad for showing up late. From the first moment that we showed up to the last moment before we left, the girls were super excited. My daughter and my 11-year old niece took turns riding on Jake, while my 15-year old niece and I took turns riding on Tanner. Being that it was our first time on a horseback ride, I was kind of scared because Tanner is huge! Cianna made us feel super safe and comfortable! She gave each of the girls a fitted helmet, while I didn't need one since I'm over 18. Being that it was so hot, Cianna gave us the option to ride in the indoor arena. Yay!! We got to ride for 15 minutes each, but my daughter didn't want to get off. I originally wanted to do the half hour ride for each of us, but I was afraid it would be too long and my daughter would be scared so I thought 15 minutes was safer. The girls couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had and how nice Cianna was the whole drive back home. They're already asking me when we can come back again...these kids are definitely spoiled! If it wasn't such a far drive for us, I'd be coming once a month, but we'll have to see when I'm willing to make the drive back out again ;) My older brother & younger sister also said they're interested, so we'll have an even bigger group next time we return. Thank you, Cianna, for opening up your stable for us to enjoy!!

She made some friends and did some crafts. The counselors were enthusiastic and seemed responsible. The campus was beautiful. Seemed very well-run and we were happy with it! Awesome camp. Just register your kids for a single day and you can drop them off anytime you want…read morewithout reservations. We've sent our son Ryan there for a few summers now and he's really enjoyed it. The couselors are always awesome. The food is healthy and the kids have a great time. We were really disappointed that they stopped doing the crepe thing... our son loved it. Also the bathtub carts broke which were super fun for them. Given the cost of a day of camp it was a little sad that they don't have those things before. Camp has gone from $2000 a season to $2400 a season so it's not cheap, or $79 per day if you don't go by the season. You can also buy 20 packs at $69 a day. The drop off and pickup is pretty easy. The kids do lots of projects that get emailed to the parents, which is pretty cool. Great camp and we've had great experiences with them. Our child loves the camp and the staff. Friday's are the most fun day so if you only have your child go once in a while, those days have the special activities usually.
