Took the pills prescribed to get rid of it. A few months later same symptoms but more severe so I made another appointment. Was told everything looks good and was told a script would be sent to my pharmacy for the itching. Nothing was ever sent. Left several voicemails for her nurse with no return calls in the first week. Waited until the 2nd week and someone finally answered with a horrible attitude. Was told I had BV again and this time a cream you insert was prescribed. I was so concerned because I have never had any issues before and didn't understand why it come back. The nurse literally did not answer any questions and rushed me off the phone. When I say this stuff had me on fire and the itching was so bad I was literally shredding myself to pieces. I looked up the medication, and it mentioned that it can cause a yeast infection so most gynecologist prescribe something for possible yeast infection. Long story short it didn't help me at all. It made the symptoms beyond severe to say the least. I have contacted the office several times all times within their business hours and it's almost like they are screening calls and sending me to voicemail. I have left several voicemails for an appointment with no return calls. When you have issues like this you want to stay with one consistent specialist so you can play the game of elimination to finally find the root of the cause. I have literally only seen her twice and have never been rude or out of line. It's sad when Gynecologists start to focus more on advertising and providing Beauty/ Skin procedures that may be more profitable that they start ignoring patients who really put their trust in them for their expertise. I was forced to look elsewhere for help which was kind of a blessing in disguise because I have found a wonderful doctor who really seems to care about patients and takes my symptoms seriously.

They say "Schedule on patient portal" - well the appointment section of the PORTAL DOES NOT WORK !! I have been calling for 3 days - Left VM and sent 2 emails through the portal. They finally sent me a "ROBOT" call to confirm or cancel an appointment - and I was able to cancel. Could NOT get ANYONE to assist for a reschedule. I am giving up - This is terrible customer service at the least.

Choices is just lovely. The ladies who work here are very nice and nonjudgmental. The music is…read morecalming and the posters on the walls are all about women's rights to make decisions about her own body- imagine that! This is a clinic that performs abortions, but it's not only that. It also provides cancer screenings, birth control prescriptions, std testing and much more, to only call it an abortion clinic is so ignorant. And yet sometimes you see protestors outside trying to obstruct, harass and prevent people from going in. They also do a lot of youth outreach programs, teaching teens how to have safe sex, so they can prevent pregnancy and therefore never even need an abortion, so even if you hate abortion, fact is that Choices prevents so, so many from happening and keeps the women of Memphis independent. If you're living in an abusive relationship, this is a safe place for you to go. Lots of places are not as discreet, but the receptionist here can call you and say that they are simply "the doctor's office" to keep you from having to reveal to abusive partners/parents/roommates that you're on birth control or considering an abortion. Often, they will do this regardless of if you ask for it or not. This is the real deal. Don't go to LIFE CHOICES on cooper. It's designed to deceive you into thinking it can preform abortions, but instead will scar you with misinformation at a time when you need facts so you can make an educated decision for yourself. If you need birth control, they can help. Initial health screenings for new patients are $55, on top of whatever method you decide. Some are free long term methods, others are cheap and long lasting (like depo povera, the shot, which you take once every three months, which is what I'm on.) They take insurance now, just not for abortions. To to their website for more info!

She never makes me feel unknowledgeable or like I am asking a silly question. I would recommend her 20 times if I could. Her office staff is also great! When I was searching for a pediatrician before I had my daughter I looked up info about the references I had from my OBGYN. When I called to ask about new patients Dr. Sweeten's staff took my information, provided me with clinic specifics, and let me know there was nothing else I needed until baby was born. When my daughter was born about a week later she came to see her in the hospital and visited her throughout the weekend. On my first office visit we received a Comprehensive Associates onesie along with a red tutu as a welcome baby gift. She is thoughtful, kind, and has excellent bedside manner. Oh-- another plus is she actually has some type of student service learning partnership with a nearby university which I LOVE because she is training up our next generation of pediatricians. If you choose Dr. Sweeten I promise you wont regret it. :)

Where do I even begin? Zoe was an absolute godsend to me throughout my…read morefertility/pregnancy/birth/postpartum journey. I like to think of myself as a happy medium with eastern and western medicine: I knew that I wanted to give birth in a hospital, have an epidural - but I wanted a doula to help me mind/body/spirit prepare for this incredible journey. Zoe wonderfully catered to me, helped to educate me, and met me where I was with love and understanding. I initially contacted Zoe after trying 6 months to get pregnant with no success. I had voiced my concerns to my OBGYN at Adams Patterson who just disregarded it because it had been less than a year and I was under 35. I don't care if you've been trying for months, years -- it's still painful to not get that plus sign on the pregnancy test. So, I decided to contact Zoe as a first step. She listened to me, reassured me, comforted me. She had me delete the anxiety-inducing apps -- and she walked me through a holistic, healthy way to get pregnant. She helped me to prep my mind, body, and spirit to house a new baby. I soon became pregnant after working with her for two months. I was over the moon - and surprisingly terrified. I wanted this so badly - but now ... what? I worked with Zoe throughout my pregnancy taking her childbirth, breastfeeding, postpartum, and baby care classes. I also saw her for coaching throughout my pregnancy. Due to COVID, all of my classes were online - and Zoe did a great job keeping the classes fun and informative -- as well as comfort me as a first time mama giving birth during a health epidemic. Ladies -- hear this, too: she also consistently checked in on my husband. She made him feel a part of the process - which helped us to bond and prepare for our little one's arrival. My husband didn't quite understand why I needed a doula - but after working with Zoe throughout the pregnancy, he was very comforted and thankful to have her support. Then came the birth. Zoe worked with our hospital (Baptist) to submit the correct paperwork so that she could work with us and be present despite COVID19. THANK YOU, GOD, that Zoe was there. I ended up being induced 8 days past my due date - progressed quickly - completely dilated - but my baby's head went transverse at the end - and she ended up being wedged in my right side. After pushing for 3 hours, I had to have an emergency c-section. I didn't have my mom with me. I clung to my husband's hand. Honestly, I had never been more scared in my life. Zoe comforted my husband and me during a very long day of labor and unexpected outcomes -- and she helped to communicate with my very worried family that couldn't be present due to COVID. We also worked with Zoe postpartum. Zoe came over and helped me with the basics that my tired/sleep deprived brain couldn't comprehend: breast pumps, bottles, swaddles, baby carriers. Zoe took care of me in a time where I had forgotten how to take care of myself and this new little precious baby. She was always available on text, too, for questions, worries, concerns as a new mama. I cannot recommend having Zoe enough. She is such a gift to Memphis. Before I got pregnant, I knew that I wanted to work with a doula. I'm so thankful that I listened to my intuition and found Zoe -- even before COVID19 hit. Zoe has made me a stronger woman - learning to advocate for myself, family, and new baby. Trust your gut as you're reading this review and hire Zoe. You will be so grateful.

I've been struggling with my weight and pcos for quite some time and I needed to have a full exam. I got bloodwork and was told my results over the phone which was great because I didn't have to go in for it. My issue is I received my diagnosis and a treatment plan, but that was it.. No follow up to check the status or anything. I made my own appointment 5 months later to do my own research because no one ever cared to follow up. I ask for an appointment for bloodwork, Don't see a nurse or a dr or a PA nothing, No one asked if I've experienced any changes or anything like dang do yall care at all?I explain what I'm there for to the phlebotomist and get my bloodwork done, for it to be a full month later and no one has said anything about the results. I called back to dbl check and the receptionist says she will get someone to place it in my chart..2 weeks later.. Yep you guesssed it.. No results.. I like everyone's personality but unfortunately that isn't the only thing an office should be ran on. Please do better with following up with your patients. I am surly ready to transfer care because of this.
