This is the worst medical office ever. All the employees are rude. Called to change over doctor and told the receptionist that I have called three times this week. I was told two times that a manager will call me to discuss called a 3rd time and that's when a message was relayed she was on vacation. I would have been ok with the answer if the receptionist was not rude. I asked to be transferred to a different office because this has been a constant issue. The receptionist told me to GOOGLE it. lol I ask for her name. she got quite and hung up. and that's ok I will make a review everyday on this business and their terrible customer service, unprofessionalism and incompetent everyday. read more

I was looking for contact information and came upon these reviews. I just want to say that Dr. Carter saved my life. She is the most amazing doctor I've ever had (OB or otherwise). She not only saved my life when I was in my early 20s, she helped me through a difficult pregnancy and possibly saved the life of my unborn child. Many of these reviews are for the front office staff, whom I've never had any issues with, but don't let these reviews make you think that Dr. Carter is not phenomenal. You would be lucky to have her as your doctor. read more

I often wonder how my whole pregnancy would have played out had I not stumbled upon a phenomenal OBGYN such as Dr. Belvia Carter. I was extremely worried when I had to switch from the Midtown location of Women's Physician Group to the Germantown location at 5 months pregnant (Midtown is only CNAs- the doctor's who deliver are all at the Germantown location.) I loved the CNA I had been working with up till that point, and had no clue what I was getting into. Luckily for me, I don't think there could be a better fit had someone invented an eHarmony for making baby doctor matches. Dr. Carter has an amazing bedside manor and goes above and beyond what is necessary- and this is coming from a first time mom. She has always been extremely patient with all my ridiculous questions, and even more so when I've had none and really should have. She's always got a smile on her face and seems genuinely excited and interested in my pregnancy. Her staff of nurses and the ultrasound tech are equally as wonderful. I feel like I've known them forever, and that they all take an active interest in what is going on in my pregnancy. Even if they don't and it is just for show- kudos to them. I can't imagine faking that interest day in and day out with dozens of preggos. Though I haven't delivered yet, I would recommend her services to anyone in need. I know she and her staff would treat them with the same respect, courtesy and friendliness. read more

I agree with all the reviews!! Dr. Lanetta Anderson has been my OB for my last two pregnancies, they are an AMAZING PRACTICE. However I cannot get over how HORRIBLE the receptionist are at the Germantown location. I actually started scheduling at the Midtown location, which is 30 minutes away, just so I wouldn't have to call Germantown!! They are rude and leave you on hold for well over 10 minutes and don't care!! Again I love Dr. Anderson but the front desk is awful! read more

I had an appointment here but cancelled because whoever is the receptionist is was very rude over phone. The phone operator is the first impression. Some people are already nervous to be coming to the doctor and have to deal with rude customer service? Staff should be required to do customer service courses before interacting with patients! read more

I've been a patient since 2008 and I love their services. Dr. Anderson was my OBGYN and she was great.

I called as a new patient at 15 weeks, transferring from a Dr. in Boston. I told the receptionist that I had a referral from my insurance company for Dr. Lanetta Anderson and asked when the soonest I could get an appointment would be. The woman said the Dr. is not accepting new patients until December. I asked if any other physician was taking patients sooner. I was put on hold several times-at 7, 10:32, 12:30, and 14:58 minutes someone got on the phone and asked how they could help me. One of those times they checked to see if they took my insurance then suggested I call my insurance company for a referral and to check if the Dr. was covered. I told them I already have a referral and have sown with with my insurance. They put me on hold until 20:42min, someone got on and off then at 21:20min they told me the name of my insurance that I had told the first person and told me to send my records over to see if the Dr. would accept me as a patient. I asked when is the soonest an appointment is available? The receptionist said I would have to look at all the doctor's schedules and I'm not going to do that, you'll have to drop your records off or have them sent over. Then she said we could probably get you in late October, early November. I felt the staff was rude and disorganized and didn't want to talk to me or book an appointment. If all of the doctors were not taking patients period then they should have stated that or not answered the phone. I cannot imagine working with this office no matter how good the doctors ratings are. read more

The customer service is horrible! Booked a appointment two weeks in advance. Making sure they accepted my insurance. Once I got to the appointment they said they couldn't find my name under my insurance. Called my insurance immediately and they said everything was correct and my insurance is up-to-date. Took 30 minutes to settle the situation and they told me I had to rebook my appointment because it took so long! Never going back. read more

I would NEVER refer the Women's Physician Group to anyone. Their customer service suck!! You're only of value to them when they know they can bill out on you. Going above and beyond is not an option for them. I understand it's a business and I have my insurance back. Those people kicked me to the curb the moment I had problems with my insurance (which was out of my control) and didn't give me options and now refuse to accept me back. Every Obgyn center I called said they could not accept me now that I am 7 months but my co worker gave me her Obgyn info and everything is great now. Thank God. That was a nightmare!! I had a stillbirth while being cared for by Dr. Carter. I do not blame her. When I got pregnant again, I had the feeling that she didn't want me as a patient. The feelings were confirmed when she suggested that I find another doctor at 17/18 weeks pregnant (It can be hard to find a new doc when you've had a still birth... and she knows this). She'd prescribed me medicine that I'm allergic to (contains gluten) and she insists that it doesn't. You can simply go online and see that it does. I asked how she came to the conclusion that I needed the medicine, and the answer was not strong enough for anyone to go along with. She had me take a million unneccessary tests (confirmed by my new doctor). I was told that I was not acting in the best interest on my child (because I didn't want to take medication that I'm allergic to). I don't know if she was just trying to make money off me or if she was just more concerned about covering her butt. Either way, I felt bullied, pressured and discouraged by things I was told by Dr. Carter. Nurse Amber is the saving grace of her entire practice. She's the only seemingly caring and empathetic soul there. I'm dissapointed in the service I received from Dr. Carter. read more
