They were patient, kind and worked quickly. When I took the results to my doctor, at Peachtree Orthopedics, he was very impressed with the report and the disc. He said it was much better quality than the MRI I brought him earlier that year from one of their competitors. In all, I was very pleased with everything including the price. Compared to a hospital and the bigger, MRI chain, they are way more affordable.

I have had a series of MRI exams, both before and after my surgery of two years ago. Of the four locations where I have had these exams, MRI & Imaging of Georgia in Roswell was the best. The location was easy to find on Hembree Road at Wills Road, near North Fulton Hospital. There was plenty of parking and the facility was bright, clean and welcoming. I was taken in for my exam almost as soon as I arrived. A large room was available for me to use to change into medical "scrubs" for the exam. The room had a locking cabinet for my wallet, watch, loose change, and other valuables. The technician operating the MRI was very accommodating and did not rush me in getting ready for the exam. The entire procedure took about 30 minutes. My primary care physician even commented to me on my next visit to him about the thoroughness of the report he received following my MRI.

I didn't even know that was a thing! But the ortho I knew just from us both rounding at Emory convinced me he would be able to tell what was wrong. Unfortunately his horrible care and poor treatment plan left me no choice but to get the MRI. He of course ordered one but with my crap insurance plan it would have cost more out of pocket to pay for their facility rather than this place. $399 for an MRI! Now you have to consider deductibles because for some, it might make sense to use a place going through insurance. But for me this was my best option. In fact in hindsight I could have saved over $200 and not even gotten that horrible medical advice and just gotten the MRI myself. It would have circumvented a lot of BS I went through. You just go online, book your appointment and show up. Awesome! It was a very clean facility. They were punctual. The girl at the front desk was awesome!! She was so sweet and helpful. She was caring and just a great person to have to make you feel comfortable. She was empathetic as well. The MRI only took 20 minutes and I was in and out. Also, they have a 1.5 tesla machine for those who are interested. So the quality is good. And the read came back the same day. Also when the ortho called me he told me the same thing that was on the report so that gave me more confidence in their radiologist. Great option for some people, not everyone but it was a wonderful choice for me and they got me in quick too!

Since that was such a high deductible and the appointments at the hospital were so parsed, I decided to search for a private facility. After research and reviews, I chose this location. My experience was exceptional from the very first call with inquiries, to appointment availability, to check-in, to the tech who was warm, and accommodating. The only reason a star from the rating is because they didn't have the newer machine that pipes in music with surround sound headsets nor did they have warm blankets. Both of which I don't mind because the cost is kept lower by omitting things like that offered at the major hospitals.. The best part is instead of $1200 to Piedmont Hospital I paid $499 and got a copy of the imaging CD for my Dr.I will definitely be using this location for my medical imaging needs in the future. Don't take the first place you are sent to if you are in need of an MRI scan ... you need to shop…read morearound, compare prices and locations. Scan centers in or nearby hospitals tend to be the most expensive and have cramped parking. That's where John's creek MRI comes in... This is a highly professional office from the front desk to the staff in back. Their appointments are set up through a centralized phone number and then the office staff will contact you if any issues arise before you appointment (issues meaning: your health insurance policy is giving them/you problems, that is sure to happen, but they work with you efficiently to handle the issues.) I was particularly impressed with how organized and hard-working the front office staff was... They were ready to answer any question and gave great customer service. My experience has been the opposite in many other places. A nice addition to the MRI scan room is the offer of headphones while you are trapped in the MRI machine. Those machines are exceptionally loud and the headphones are a great way to help drown out that noise. Just be sure to have a radio station in mind when they ask you what you would like to listen to ... (I sort of froze up because I think most Atlanta-based radio stations are total crap nowadays.) They have limited evening and weekend appointments if you wish. There is ample free parking in their private lot so you won't have to pay for the typical parking garage near a hospital. Good luck!

Did not have a good experience with services. The MRI was not ready, was not sent to the doctor…read moreoffice, and had not been read by radiologists. They had 3 weeks to complete this task. I waited 2 hours in the doctor's office for Elite to find a radiologist. No one seems to know why it was not done. Because of their inefficiency, I had to re-schedule my appointment, causing delay in treatment.
