First time here with my dad. Scheduled appointment at 1:30. We arrived at 1:20. Check-in was easy…read morewe may have waited 10 min before he was called back The facility is well kept. Very clean and the furniture is fairly new. Upon arrival, the waiting area was full at least 15 were waiting to be seen. Dr. Marcus Sims is my dad's doctor. He was his doctor after being admitted to the hospital about 3 weeks ago so this is a follow-up While waiting in the exam room, the nurse assistant took vitals. She was pleasant We waited approximately 20 min before Dr Sims came in. He has the BEST bedside manner During the examination he chit-chatted between explaining what and why he was doing what he was doing. He listened to my dad's concerns while referring him to another specialist to address the nausea 6-month follow-up was recommended. The office is roughly 35 min from our home maybe less if traffic is light. There are several doctor offices in this building most are heart specialists If you're in need of a cardiologist, Dr. Sims is your person.

After a horrifying experience at a different practice, we tried this office. Dr. Pride is amazing. I'd highly recommend him to anyone needing his cardiac services. He arranged things for us at the hospital and he and the hospital liaison personally made sure that my wife had all the special arrangements needed to make her comfortable. Also as a side note - this doctor and practice is extremely LGBT friendly. (note to make this clear to yelp, I was with my wife and experienced all of this myself and am not relying on second hand experiences in writing this review)

Dr. Blaise is a phenomenal doctor. She is extremely personable, listens and really cares about her…read morepatients. She doesnt rush visits, but she also doesnt waste time. She does a great job and gathering all your medical history and current info to determine the best treatment options. She's hands down one of the best dr's I've worked with in 20+ years. Great office location, nice facilities, personable and friendly staff AND excellent medical care! No brainer. She's valid and a million times better than any dr in one of those large, well-known medical groups. We are glad we found her and you should be too. Tell me Im lying after your visit.

I REALLY like Dr. Blaise. She is very informative and takes the time to explain everything…read morethoroughly. I hate to not give 5 stars but that is because of some of her staff. Initial impression is everything and, as a new patient today, I nearly walked out of the office before even being seen. Why? I arrived at my appointment 1/2 an hour early and needed to use the restroom after signing in. I asked the Russian lady at the front desk if they were going to need a specimen (I was 99% sure theyd only do bloodwork but thought I would ask to be sure) and was told "I don't know. Ask the nurse." Ok..except I needed to go like then. So I sit and I wait for a few minutes before she calls me back up and asks me to sign some paper for today's payment of over $200. I pointed out that a specialist visit is not subject to deductable (I also do medical billing) and that my copay is $50. Her response? "I only give what I am told." Well miss lady you were told wrong. She got with the guy in billing and he had it fixed. If I hadn't known to question this I would have been out that money. Finally I see Dr. Blaise and, again, I really liked her. She has really good bedside manner and explains everything. I left feeling comfortable with what she told me. BUT..... As I checked out (with the Russian lady again) I received the orders including for a sleep study. I asked if I could use a certain facility because my husband recently had one there and it was nice. She told me their preferred facility because "it is cheaper." Ok folks, I'm sorry but at this point I really was wondering what her deal was. I didn't ask for financial counseling, or express hardship. In fact I recall telling her I met my deductable within the first couple weeks of the year due to diagnostics I had. So why are charges of her concern? The preferred facility had bad reviews (like 1.5 stars) so no. I want to go where I want to go. I hope Dr. Blaise gets her in line because I usually don't have that type of patience so any other day I would have left.
