Under no circumstances should any staff member of central outreach be discussing about patients and or their personal healthcare especially if the patient is not present to defend themselves..... The average 20 - 30 min should not be that long especially if your the first patient of the day on the walk in side there's no reason why I should have waited 35min at 9am got seen by 10am was out the doors by 1045am that's unacceptable. When a specific provider is being asked for and called for ---- STOP SENDING SOMEONE WHO WE DIDNT ASK FOR The waiting rooms need to be more expanded it gets way to crowded by 1115am and most people have to start standing or they go outside back to their cars.....

However, Dr. Bishop has been the first OB/GYN to truly listen and provide different recommendations for our fertility struggles over the last 4 years. She actually recommended us to a new fertility clinic to begin IVF in which we were able to get pregnant for the second time. Unfortunately the pregnancy ended in a second miscarriage which was discovered in office with Dr. Bishop at 10 weeks. Her caring bedside manner was so impactful as my husband and I were going through such a horrible situation, and it's been SO different and refreshing compared to my first miscarriage experience with my old practice (Century Medical Associates-- highly do NOT recommend). I have recommended Seasons to ALL of my friends because the care is top notch and the all-women practice makes you feel at home, even when you may be going through a difficult situation. The fact these providers actually spend the time to listen to you AND provide sound recommendations is what makes them stand above the rest!

But what hurts the most is that I had to fight to keep my baby's remains from being treated like medical waste. The doctor did not even seem to know that I could ask for the pregnancy tissue from my D&C as proof of my pregnancy and loss. I should never have had to fight for this. I was grieving my baby, and I had to fight the hospital to make sure her remains were not simply thrown away. Then I was offered a keychain... I don't want a keychain to remember this experience by. I wanted my baby. I won't put all my private medical details here, but other parents need to know: ask questions, ask what is happening to the remains, request your records, and ask for your proof of conception for a proper burial based on your faith. You also have a right for the hospital to take care of the remains, if that's what helps you get through. No judgement, just options. The pathologist named Stephanie was the one person who showed me extraordinary compassion. They treated Estelle with dignity and treated me like a grieving mother, not a case number. Just a beautiful soul who looks you in the eye. I will never forget that. Mercy needs to do better. Losing my baby was devastating enough. I should never have had to fight the hospital to make sure she mattered. Horton taught us "A person is a person, no matter how small." Estelle mattered. Her remains mattered. And I am grateful to the pathologist who treated her with the dignity she deserved.

The OR team was nice from the front desk (Dairia) who has a pleasant personality and put me at ease to the rest of the team Leah (pre-op nurse), Sue (OR nurse), Amanda (OR Team) and Doreen (recovery nurse). The anesthesiologist and nurse anesthesist both helped me understand procedures and what I could expect while answering my concerns. All went well and my R.N. Doreen throughly went over my discharge orders. I have read the other reviews which are different from my situation and hope this is not the norm for most patients. For my overall O.R. experience Magee gets a well deserved and solid 4 stars. PS They even gave me a thank-you card with my discharge orders (a nice touch).

I appreciated that everyone who worked with me wore a KN95 mask no questions when I explained my immune issues. Sadly that is rare in doctor's offices lately. Leigh listened attentively to my issues and thoroughly explained possible diagnosees and best paths forward.. When I later on needed paperwork for FMLA the staff was quick and helpful in getting that filled out. I can tell that TMC treats each patient with care and a great bedside manner

I appreciate their holistic, personalized approach to healthcare - (they've asked me some thoughtful, out-of-the-box questions and do take interest in the whole picture of your health) - as well as their progressive lean and focus on healthcare accessibility. I was a patient here for over a year and I can tell you that all of these things are the real deal. The weaknesses of this practice - in my layperson opinion - are as follows: 1) Limited scope. They aren't an OB/GYN, and can't really take the place of one. As one of the nurses very snippily told me, they "don't practice medicine", sounding like I had walked into an Applebee's and asked them to operate on my foot. They practice nursing, I get that - I only expect a medical provider to, you know, help me, and not make my issue worse. Lots of folks do prefer midwives to the traditional MDs & DOs, and I can appreciate that, but their ability to diagnose and treat is much more limited than they advertise. For me, this meant visits with three different providers, a misdiagnosis, unnecessary meds, lots of invasive stuff, hundreds of dollars of unnecessary tests, and one sad patient with no answers. I wish they had recognized when something was maybe a little beyond their scope and just referred me out on the front end, saving me a whole bunch of misery. As with most things in life, YMMV. A limited scope of practice might be okay for you! If you're the picture of health and just want to pop in for your annual or grab a birth control script, AND if you're already connected with a solid gynecologist to see for any real problems, this facility might very well meet your needs. Because - my next point: 2) Continuity of care is lacking. They suck at referrals. I was initially told that they have a select few GYNs in the community with whom they work closely and collaboratively. But when I actually needed this referral, I was sent five+ pages of basically an indecipherable, broken wall of text and told I could self-refer to "that clinic at Magee" but that I didn't really "need" to. How helpful is that? 3) Pretty unprofessional billing/recordkeeping practices - I've gotten multiple bills addressed to the wrong person for my own care and have gotten bills with handwriting and white out on them. Their EMR/portal with Maternity Neighborhood is pretty poor quality and I've seen another patient's medical records mixed in with my own! A little concerning. Ultimately, my health concern was promptly addressed and treated at my first visit with an MD elsewhere and I don't intend on returning to this clinic. I do feel this place has a lot of potential and I respect all the positive reviews, but to me the concerns outweigh the benefits. I'd rather go to a more professional clinic with a higher capacity for service.

I was unable to eat or drink waiting for her to decide which increased my nausea. From 8-2am my husband and I were waiting to be moved to a real room only to have to stay in the ER overnight in a room not meant for that. Respectfully; this is why people go with the midwives.

The location is off several bus lines and they have parking available, they will validate your parking if you go to an office. The care I received was excellent and I can appreciate that the Endocrinologist wants me to see a PCP vs him as I am not in need of the specialized care. The analysis done and the changes made since coming here are appreciated and I will go on with a less specialized doctor.
