Also, keep an eye on the final cost; they occasionally add beneficial treatments (like Gua Sha) during the session without mentioning the extra fee. Truly Impressed - A Professional's Perspective…read more As an industry veteran who comes from the professional skincare industry and owns my own brand, I hold high standards when it comes to facial treatments and I have to say, this experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, Ya was warm, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. Her technique was meticulous yet gentle, and I could tell right away that she understood how to treat skin with care and intention. Her method not only helped reduce the inflammation immediately, but within days the my acne had fully resolved. That is not easy to do. Her process is thoughtful, results driven, and rooted in both science and intuition. It's rare to find someone who blends those so seamlessly. I walked out with visibly clearer, calmer skin and a renewed respect for her expertise. Highly recommend her to anyone serious about skin health. After listening to my concerns, Tracy suggested adding a hot stone massage, and I'm so glad she did--it was incredible. She spent a lot of time focusing on my shoulder and really worked on the areas that needed the most attention. Throughout the session, she regularly checked in to make sure I was comfortable and asked whether the stones were too hot, which I really appreciated. Her attentiveness and genuine care made the entire experience relaxing and therapeutic. I left feeling significantly better and much less tense than when I arrived. I couldn't even sleep because it was so itchy, painful, and stinging all over my face and neck. Got misdiagnosed by another dermatologist and I came for a second opinion. He checked my skin with a bright light and confirmed it was a bacterial infection. Seriously thought I wouldn't ever recover... Dr. Oliver is so patient and answered all my questions. He even told me to not worry about my skin. Just take the med/ointments as he said and relax, leave the worrying to him because that's what he does. Within 2 days of taking the oral med, my swelling was all gone. After 4 days of both oral and tropical med, the redness on my face was gone! Seeing a specialist always worries me because they can get very expensive but I am SO THANKFUL that I found Dr. Oliver. His pricing was very reasonable as I pay out of pocket and his office visit price covered the ointments/oral med he prescribed for me. Really appreciate that. I actually just visited Dr. Oliver for a follow up appointment today. Again, he was super patient and answered everything I asked!! Did not feel rushed at all. Was hoping he clears me from the prescribed meds but he suggests to continue for another week just to make sure everything is cleared completely. Still dealing with some lingering dryness and tightness. Hope that go away soon. Cassandra the receptionist was super sweet and helpful as well! They offer water or tea while you wait. If you are dealing with a skin issue, I highly recommend Dr. Oliver and his team.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a 1-star review based on my recent experience…read more I booked "The Works" Custom Facial, which is advertised as a 1 hour and 30 minute service for $140 and includes a double cleanse, exfoliation/dermaplaning if needed, extractions, masks, face massage, cold therapy, serums, moisturizers, and SPF. My appointment started at 3:00 PM, but the facial was finished around 3:50 PM. I asked my esthetician, Serena, why the service ended so early because I was expecting the full 90-minute experience. I was told that the service is based on what your skin needs rather than the scheduled time, and that I did not require many extractions. While I understand that every facial should be customized to the client's skin and that I did receive the LED light treatment, I was disappointed that the service ended after about 50 minutes when I had booked and paid for a facial advertised as 1 hour and 30 minutes. I did not receive a mask, and the facial massage felt extremely minimal. In my experience at other spas, when extractions or corrective treatments are not needed, the esthetician typically uses that time for a longer facial massage, additional mask time, scalp massage, hand and arm massage, neck and shoulder massage, or other relaxing treatments so that the appointment still feels complete and the client leaves feeling cared for and pampered. Instead, I left feeling as though I received less because I take good care of my skin. What was most frustrating was paying the full $140 price, plus a 15% tip, while receiving a significantly shortened service. Had I known that the appointment could be reduced by nearly 40 minutes depending on my skin condition, I would have appreciated that being clearly communicated before booking. Advice: If you have acne, congestion, or significant extraction needs, this service may be a good value for you. However, if you maintain your skin regularly and are looking for a relaxing 90-minute facial, self-care experience, or glow-up refresh, I would strongly recommend asking exactly what is included and how long your treatment is likely to last before booking or just go somewhere else. I left feeling disappointed, misled by the advertised appointment length, and feeling that I did not receive the full experience that was represented for the price.
