When we sold the house in 2020, the realtors didn't even notice the work until we disclosed it in the paperwork. When we inventoried all the repairs and touchups over the years, the brickwork from 4GM was the best bang for the buck by far.

James did a thorough cleanup and inspection of the fireplace and chimney. As he started to notice some potential issues, he asked if we had attic access so he could do an even deeper inspection. Unfortunately we found some previously completed roof work compromised the integrity of the flue so he strongly discouraged continued use until a suitable fix was put in place. Although this isn't something he does, he gave me a few options to send me in the right direction. Obviously it wasn't great news but i'm happy to have received the information. Given how last winter was we likely would have used this fireplace and unknowingly would have put our home and family in danger. Thanks James!

Scott & Company Residential Renovations exceeded every expectation! I started this project with a…read moresimple idea for a primitive kitchen island, and what they delivered is a stunning, custom piece that feels like it was always meant to be in our home. Heather's detailed drawings helped me clearly see what was possible, and her guidance transformed my basic vision--two drawers and a couple of shelves--into a beautifully designed island with 12 drawers that maximizes storage. She even helped me find the perfect countertop remnant to finish the piece. She was infinitely patient, and there was never a question that our project was a priority. When I compared quotes, Scott & Company's initial estimate was right in line with three other bids I received. As we added more drawers, the cost increased as expected, but the craftsmanship, functionality, and beauty of the final product made it worth every single dollar. From start to finish, the process felt collaborative, professional, and fun. We are absolutely thrilled with the result and wholeheartedly recommend Scott & Company to anyone looking for exceptional quality and true value.
