This review is a long overdue. I had a lingering lower back issue last year for more than six months. I'm not entirely sure what i did to injure it but it was there and would cause a consistent pain everyday that would travel all the way down my right leg. I tried stretching everyday and would alleviate the pain but it wouldn't take it away. I went to my primary Dr and he recommended to sleep in a fetal position to stretch my spine... :| I figured i would have to live with this pain until my final days. Luckily i was referred to Dr. Shane by a friend of a friend from a very casual conversation. I made an appt. And when i saw him he delivered exceptional patient bedside manners. His explanations and methods far exceeded my expectations. Suffice to say he addressed and resolved my issue in TWO visits. On the second visit when he made his adjustment he literally said, "got it, that should do it". And as of this writing i have not had any lower back pain from that injury. Dr Shane listens to my questions and concerns and addresses them without making me feel like a hypochondriac He won't suggest unnecessary visits or procedures; in other words, he cares for his patients more than he does squeezing that extra dollar out of them. The massage therapist is another plus in the office too. Alyne works out the aches and kinks, while checking to make sure you're still comfortable with the massage. I was impressed with this establishment after the first visit since the doctor makes an effort to learn a patient's history before beginning any form of treatment. He listens to each of your concerns and then treats each problem accordingly. Aside from that I noticed results right away after being adjusted and felt better each time I left the office. My entire family goes to see Dr Shane and Alyne whenever we are in pain and/or need a tune up! My dad even says, "I got a new back" after his appointments. They are so friendly and accommodating. I've been seeing Dr. Shane for about 10 years. He is definitely the best chiropractor I've ever been to, and I've been to many over the last 30 years. I was born with scoliosis and also have a damaged neck from a car accident and suffer from fibromyalgia, and he is the only chiropractor that I've been to that gives me quick relief with my pain. He doesn't try to make you come in a bunch of times a week and will not try to over treat you when you do not need it, he's very honest and has me come in as needed. I try to go in at least once a month with my daughter so we can both have adjustments to keep our our spines in good health. He has a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor and makes all his patients feel very comfortable. I trust him treating my teen daughter and my entire family, and have recommended many family and friends. He also accepts most health insurances, as well as Kaiser, which is fantastic! His massage therapist Alyne is the most talented body worker I've ever seen, her massage relieved my pain immensely. She is in very high demand and you have to make sure you keep a standing appointment or give yourself at least a month in advance to get an appointment with her, but it is totally worth it! She has truly magic hands! Very affordable and very accommodating to your schedule and requests. I really can't recommend a chiropractor anymore highly!! read more

From a young age, I grew up with a phobia for chiropractic care, which is funny because as a Certified Massage Therapist I always HIGHLY Recommend it to all my clients. As fate would have it, I became friends with Dr Wolfgang Shane in the beginning of my massage career. We worked together and our mutual clients found our paired skills worked extremely well for them. We were coworkers and friends for several years before the first time he adjusted me. I had been slammed to the ground by a enormous ocean wave and I couldn't function normal for several days after that happened. It hurt to walk, it hurt to stand, it hurt to sit and it hurt to lay down and hurt more getting back up. I called him out of complete utter desperation. Needless to say the first time he did adjust me was like a "I Love You Lucy" episode especially when adjusting my neck lol. I appreciated his patience with me and we got through it lol. Within the first adjustment I felt normal again and the pain was subsiding. I remember thinking it was like magic, seriously like magic lol. Since then I've taken my daughter to him when she was a teenager and later she also felt comfortable getting adjustments from him during her first pregnancy. I've taken my brother, my sister and my fiance to him because I know without a doubt that he can help my loved ones. Finding Dr. Shane's office was the best thing I could have done. The office is tucked away in a complex off Valley. I called and spoke with Dr. Shane himself and he was able to make my appointment right away. When I entered the office I was greeted by Dr. Shane and had to fill out some brief paperwork and did so in one of his wonderful massage chairs. Once I sat down I instantly felt relaxed. After waiting a few minutes, Dr. Shane took me back to the room and we spoke about what was bothering me and he was able to located the tension in my back right away. He put me on the massage table and performed some therapy to get my back nice and warmed up. Then he walked me through how he was going to help relieve tension and got to it. My back felt immediate relief! We then booked follow up appointments. Dr. Shane goes above and beyond by texting patients to follow up with how they are doing post session. Dr. Shane is great. He's always so professional and just so nice. The hours are very accommodating for my schedule, but he's always able to fit me in at the last minute and that's great for the unexpected pains I get. He's very knowledgeable and is always ready to help you learn preventative stretches to keep the pain away. I've had some experiences where other chiropractors would try and get me to come in 3 or even 4 times a week and the bills rack up that way, but I don't feel pressure by Dr. Shane at all and being comfortable with my doctors is always the most important thing to me. read more

Okay, so here is an update to my treatments with Dr. Shane. He does everything in the treatment from setting you up to treating you. He does have a part-time receptionist and a massage therapist. His office is not a fancy facility but simple, clean and neat. He has definitely worked out the knots and tightness in my neck, shoulders and back which has helped to give me the fuller range of motion I needed. Also, I just recently returned from my trip to Hawai'i and my neck, shoulders and back was so tight from the beds I had been sleeping on while visiting family. I went to see Dr. Shane and no kidding, I walked out of there so relaxed and loosened up from the head down to my toes! Thank you, Dr. Shane! He is thorough and takes the time to talk with you, work on the areas as needed and advises as to what exercises should be done to help the area in being treated to wholeness.
