I love my 1920's Camp Hill home- but I wanted it to feel "new" inside. I started with my kitchen- and asked for blonde floors with no shine. Beautiful!!! Love Love Love!! Then I decided to do my entire second floor- 4 bedrooms and the hallway and the staircase ! This team is meticulous! AND- cheerful! I can't say enough about the value added to my home! My grandchildren even said - it feels like a new house!! I'm shocked and thrilled at how great it feels and how particular and conscientious Jon Frontz's team is!!! Don't wait- get on his schedule! You will be thrilled too!! Thank you Jon and team!! I secretly wish I had more floors to do!!!! Dr. Lee Morand

Floors are good enough. Felt pressured to pick a stain quick after I had to request the stain brands he uses so I had more than five minutes to pick. It was nerve wracking and the worker he sent said most people take long to choose a stain and I wasn't being difficult as the owner insinuated I was. The other problem was the transition from the hardwood to our kitchen tile was not done with care. We now have a long divet in the floor in front of the transition. They used the large sander instead of the hand sander which would have made the transition smooth. My husband will have to fix it because they wouldn't when we asked them to look at it. Very disappointed with the way we were treated. Not impressed!!!

From start to…read morefinish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes a great deal of pride in his craftsmanship. The attention to detail was outstanding, and the finished floors completely transformed the space. Max took the time to make sure everything was done properly, kept the process professional and organized, and delivered a finished product that exceeded our expectations. It's becoming harder to find contractors who genuinely care about the quality of their work, and Max is absolutely one of them. If you're considering having your hardwood floors refinished, I would highly recommend him. Excellent craftsmanship, great communication, and beautiful results. We would absolutely use him again. T

I hired this company to refinish my hardwood floors. The job should have took about a week…read more Unfortunately, it took several weeks mostly due to the company's own mistakes. This added time caused me to have to get a hotel for a week. I found the owner Max to be unprofessional. The longer the job took to complete the more his professionalism decreased it seemed. A few examples that I find demonstrate his unprofessionalism were his lying and this belief that he could have charged me for the time it took him to fix his mistakes. I also found his threat of suing me and putting a lien on my home very unprofessional, when I had never once said he was not getting final payment. It was never brought up because the final walk through kept getting postponed because of their mistakes. The day I confronted him on him lying was when he ended the job and claimed it was complete and said if he didn't get his final payment he would sue me and put a lien on my house. He was paid the final payment when he came back to my home and fixed my sink (they put brushes with oil poly in my sink, which caused poly to be stuck to my stainless steal sink). The end result of the hardwood floors I would say is average. The sanding and staining for the most part look good with the exception of the stairs and closet. The finish however has hard bumps, hairs, craters, and in some spots the poly appears to separating between the boards. It gives a white line look, which is noticeable since l opted for a dark stain. My closet was poly shaded, because the stain wasn't right. My stairs are much darker than the rest of the floor despite the treads being the same type of wood as the rest of the floor. I also don't care for the oil poly he chose to use (Bona woodline). I wish I would have pushed for duraseal premium (fabulon).

We utilized Oberdorf's roughly 7-8 years ago now to replace the bedroom carpeting in our new (to…read moreus) home shortly after purchase. The selection is great, the install went very smooth, and we felt as though the pricing was very fair for the product and work provided. Late in 2017 we made the decision to replace the carpeting in our Living Room and on our staircase. Back to Oberdorf's we went! The team at Oberdorf's worked with us every step of the way. When the staircase didn't come out quite as expected; I reached out to Kim (owner) to see what options we had. Kim made several trips to our home to assess our concerns, the situation, and to provide us with detail around exactly how odd our situation was in the flooring world. The initial issue was neither the fault of us or the team at Oberdorf's but they wanted to work to make it right. We were presented several options to consider by the team and today (31Jan18) they came out to finalize the installation. The end product looks fantastic (my wife and I are ecstatic)! I would recommend Kim and his team to anyone that was looking for a flooring contractor for their project. With the level of service they provided; will continue to be return customers for sure!

Oh there are so many things to say but I will stick to just one thing. Ordered tile for my kitchen…read more(total kitchen remodel), they came, measured, placed order. When came time to install, they said they couldn't install due to the fact that my house had a sub floor half concrete/half wood. Not their fault, not mine. I had to quickly pick some vinyl tile without knowing a price, etc. All I know is that there was ALOT less labor involved,. They charged me a 25% restocking fee to return the tile. It wasn't that I changed my mind, I wanted the porcelain tile -I still do...they couldn't install it (or they said they couldn't). Talked to my contractor that disagreed and said they should have been able to install. So I'm stuck with a floor I didn't want initially, they charged almost as much as what the porcelain tile floor would've costed, plus that restocking fee. A reputable place would have eaten the restocking fee cost to keep a customer...at the very least split the restocking fee with me but to charge me 100% of it and take no responsibility-unethical. Update: After posting my review on several sites, the company called me because they saw it. They removed the restocking fee and we talked it out. I appreciated the gesture.
