For $15k cash you think this guy would put more care and effort and craftsmanship, or at the very least use decent material. 3 months later and the fence is literally falling apart. And he refuses to fix his work even though he swears to warranty his work, he does not. This clown is an absolute scam artist. Certified fence and deck ? More like certified scam artist. Save your money and hire anyone else.

Extremely disappointed with our experience with Certified Fence & Deck. We paid top dollar prices…read moreexpecting quality craftsmanship and materials, but unfortunately, the work did not come close to matching the price. The gate door and posts are leaning and uneven, and the gate that was installed was such poor quality that we ultimately had to pay another $500 to have someone else install a proper gate. That is an additional expense we should never have had to pay after already paying a premium price for a fence. The fence was also only given one coat of paint, and it is very noticeable. A second coat should have been applied, and the installer knew that. The finish is uneven and does not look like the quality of work you would expect from a company charging what they charge. We also discovered that the wrong type of nails were used, which is extremely concerning because it can affect the longevity of the fence. When you're paying top dollar for a fence, you shouldn't have to worry about whether the proper materials and installation methods were used. The biggest issue, however, is the warranty. They claim to stand behind their work, but when we brought these problems to their attention, they did not stand behind the work the way we expected them to. At this point, we've paid premium pricing, been left with poor craftsmanship and questionable material choices, and then had to spend another $500 out of pocket to correct part of the work. If you were considering them, DON'T! I strongly recommend asking exactly what materials will be used, and getting very clear information about what their warranty actually covers. For the amount of money we paid, we expected a fence that was straight, level, properly constructed, properly painted, and built to last. That is not what we received. I'd give them zero stars if I could

We have an older home with large custom windows, all with wood exterior. We had 10 windows that…read morehad wood rot across one or multiple sides of the windows. Our first step was to call a window company, who wanted to replace all the windows for a price we were very uncomfortable paying, with the added harm of having to deal with disruption to the interior of our home (trim, paint, etc.). The windows were fine, seemed like a huge waste of money for what amounted to a piece of wood on each window that was rotted. We called RWS, they came out and told us what they do, the goal of leaving and making the windows look like new (like nothing had happened in the first place). We could not be happier with our decision to go with them. They essentially re-created each piece of the window sections from scratch, demonstrated unparalleled craftsmanship,re-caulked to seal the windows, re-painted to match the rest of the window(s)and truly left each window looking like new. We highly recommend, very high quality, fair price, transparent around schedule/timing and very professional!

I called several places to get a quote for a composite deck, and most gave me a really high quote before stepping foot on my property. Others, didn't have availability for weeks. Alex was neither pushy, or dismissive, but highly informative and incredibly helpful with overall design. Once materials were in, the project was schedule AND completed within a week. Their installation team was equally professional, friendly, and incredibly fast. From start to finish, I could tell we were getting a high quality product.
