We rented 4 boats (2 - 74' 1-65' and 1- 50') in mid July and the boats were clean and fully functioning. The customer service was awesome from the start. The office communication,about the rental and the questions we had, the crew that helped get us all set on and off the boats and the people working the gas pumps, the store and the restaurant. My family and friends rented a 50' family boat and I was so impressed with how nice the boat was organized. The marina was clean and had everything we needed for a GREAT long weekend. The Marina is impressive with the bridge over top of it. Loading and unloading was efficient and there were plenty of heavy duty carts to get your gear moved. SUNSET Houseboat- 50 footer very comfortable for 4 couples! Generator was brand new and started very easily. Overall fantastic experience. Staff was really courteous and knowledgeable. When we did have an issue with our fridge, they came out immediately even though we were camped 15 miles away on the other side of the lake. They took care of us! A+++++ service.

Upon entering the lobby was very clean neat and lots of decorations I was made to feel very welcome from the owner. And I must say these rooms are top notch clean bedding mattresses no dust on anything AC worked perfect refrigerator and microwave in rooms with an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer tissue stocked in the tissue dispenser the linens smelt wonderful very clean bathtub everything is functioning and in good condition if anyone is coming through Albany I would please recommend this place to you. Don't let the stereotype of mom and Pop places stop you from coming here thank you all and God bless

You need 1) a waterfall that generates a lot of mist 2) dark surroundings 3) full moon (2 days before and two days after) 4) fir the full moon to be a 42 degree angle over said waterfall. This is the only place in the Western Hemisphere that meets these conditions monthly, and you will see lots of other Moonbow chasers during that period. The park is stunning anyway, with dramatic boulders and loads of gorgeous hiking. Not to mention, the area borders on the Daniel Boone National Forest, so there are arches and vistas all around. Currently, DuPont Lodge is closed for renovation within the park, however the Woodland Cottages (where I stayed), cabins, and campgrounds are good to go!

Worst of all, the resort we signed up for is closing due to bankruptcy, yet Wyndham still refuses to cancel our contract. Good luck trying to contact this company. Our letters go ignored, and phone calls yield no progress and we are constantly given the runaround. Paulina, Maria, and Tamarah have been no help when we have spoken to them- only excuses and empty promises that lead to no resolution. Buyers beware: They are quick to lie to you to take your money, but they will ignore you and hold you to a contract even when the property itself is defunct.

The directions were very clear and it was one of the biggest resorts I have ever stayed on. There were sooo many things to do along with every store you can think of within a 5 mile radius. It rained a lot while we were there so we didn't get to actually go out on all of the beaches however we did drive around the entire resort and look at all of them so we will have to visit them next time we come back. We did drive around to all the pools and looked at all the units and everything was really nice. The staff was extremely welcoming and everyone showed us a wonderful time. We went and visited all the wineries around the town and the grocery store was really cool by having everything freshly made in the store. There was nothing you couldn't find in that store that they didn't make there. we went to the recreation center on the resort and that was really nice. We went to the pool every day. They also had meals and tennis and golf and basketball so there was a lot to do in there. So many other things amongst the resort that we didn't get to visit, but we will definitely be going back again. As far as the unit we stayed in, everything was extremely clean and was very spacious. I love that it had a deck off of the living room, as well as one off of the master bedroom. There were two very nice size bathrooms, and two very nice size bedrooms, so there was plenty of space. I also loved the fact that it had a full kitchen so we didn't have to eat every day. Such a great experience.

Party of four dining out to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday evening. What a total…read moredisappointment! Two of us were planning on having salmon and one of us the catfish dinner. They were out of catfish and only had one order of salmon left. So, one person ordered the salmon. Another ordered the chicken strip basket. Another ordered the grilled chicken breast sandwich. And the other person ordered the grilled chicken breast dinner. Some time after our order the server came out and told us there was only enough chicken breast for the dinner. So, the sandwich order was changed to the chicken strip basket. It took quite a while for us to get our orders and then the server announced that the salmon order had somehow not been placed! While 3 of us had our dinners, the 4th person had nothing, not even salad, until she asked for that while she waited for her dinner. The chicken breast was quite tough and when mentioned to the server, she said "you should have asked for a steak knife"! Not much for apologies and had to pay 12$ for a piece of carrot cake for the birthday boy! It was dark when we left and no lighting on the ramp up to the parking lot and very poor lighting in the lot. An accident waiting to happen!
