My family and friends rented a 50' family boat and I was so impressed with how nice the boat was organized. The marina was clean and had everything we needed for a GREAT long weekend. The Marina is impressive with the bridge over top of it. Loading and unloading was efficient and there were plenty of heavy duty carts to get your gear moved. SUNSET Houseboat- 50 footer very comfortable for 4 couples! Generator was brand new and started very easily. Overall fantastic experience. Staff was really courteous and knowledgeable. When we did have an issue with our fridge, they came out immediately even though we were camped 15 miles away on the other side of the lake. They took care of us! A+++++ service.

Upon entering the lobby was very clean neat and lots of decorations I was made to feel very welcome from the owner. And I must say these rooms are top notch clean bedding mattresses no dust on anything AC worked perfect refrigerator and microwave in rooms with an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer tissue stocked in the tissue dispenser the linens smelt wonderful very clean bathtub everything is functioning and in good condition if anyone is coming through Albany I would please recommend this place to you. The first visit we stayed during covid in December so it was just our group of 4 and one other couple staying in the resort. It was nice because it felt so private. We stayed in the resort rooms and we were surprised with how nice they are. Everything was clean. It was a bit small but we made it work. The second visit we stayed in their cabins and preferred it more. we got 2 bedrooms and each one had 2 beds so all of us slept comfortably. I loved that the cabin comes with a full kitchen and table so we spent our night playing board games. The park itself has so much to do. There are tons of hiking trails, horseback riding and even boat tours that take you up close to the waterfall. You have to go to the Moon bow at least once in your lifetime. It's when the moon hits the water at the right angle and you see a rainbow at night. It is a cool experience but it does get really crowded so you may want to come early. Cumberland Falls gave me unrealistic expectations for state parks because this what I feel like most state parks should be like.

Apparently the only place to see a Moonbow near the full moon in the Western Hemisphere, so that's pretty special!

Worst of all, the resort we signed up for is closing due to bankruptcy, yet Wyndham still refuses to cancel our contract. Good luck trying to contact this company. Our letters go ignored, and phone calls yield no progress and we are constantly given the runaround. Paulina, Maria, and Tamarah have been no help when we have spoken to them- only excuses and empty promises that lead to no resolution. Buyers beware: They are quick to lie to you to take your money, but they will ignore you and hold you to a contract even when the property itself is defunct.

Looks like it was built in 1975 with zero amenities like the newer ones. No radio, no chargers and only one bench seat in shade. The anchor was on a 5 ft rope that's it. Though I asked for the tube they forgot it and made it seem like they were doing us favors by giving us a couple sport vests . Rest of vests were old from the titanic style. Engine was a 90 hp go cart engine. The tube wasn't big enough for him and his pre teen daughter . We made the best of it but the cost was just as much as the modern ones elsewhere which really sucked! We tipped our deck hand good as he was amazing. We made the best of it but make no mistake....Time to upgrade .
