You know how some restaurants seem to have a handful of older, bad reviews that don't match up with…read moretheir current reputation? That's what I found when I looked up this place. The only negative reviews I could find were from over seven years ago, and they're completely out of sync with the experience I had. I first visited for breakfast, and it was incredible. I'm a bit of a bacon connoisseur, and the bacon here was easily the best I've had in a long time. It was perfectly crispy and flavorful without being greasy. I was so impressed that I came back for dinner. I had the ribeye special, and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly to my order, a beautiful medium rare, and every bite was tender and delicious. It came with a baked potato that was fluffy on the inside, and loaded with all the fixings. The service was top-notch as well, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. This restaurant is clearly doing something right and has been for a while. Don't let those old reviews fool you--the Sherman Inn Restaurant is a must-try.

Neither one was overpowering, rather they worked beautifully in unison. This is a very chill, casual spot and the employees are incredibly friendly and have great recommendations. One even took time to help me figure out how many shots of espresso I would need for a tiramisu cake I was making. On top of all this, their prices are very reasonable. A couple friends with me enjoyed their Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Their coconut cream pie and chocolate cream pie was outstanding. Prices were reasonable and service was great. The ambiance was that of a classic family diner atmosphere with some booths and tables, but no dining counter. I want to go back and try their hamburgers.

The bartender, Martin, was fabulous, friendly and funny and he gave us a tour of the whole brewery. Several locals came up to introduce themselves and stayed to chat. We ordered food to be delivered from the Wolf Point Cafe (which has been owned by the same family for 4 generations) and the owner, J. We had planned to just have one beer and go but the whole experience was so delightful, we stayed until closing. All and all, one of the high points of our road trip. Very highly recommend!
