First time Vietnam food in Düsseldorf. Pho: not as good as…read moreI've tested at Paris. The soupe was good, but the rice noodle tested like made by old rice. All bean sprouts, basil were added in your bowl, you don't have choice, and there was no lemon, no red chili, only chili sauce. I've ordered beef pho but there was only beef slices, no beef pellet, no raw beef slices or omasum. I was disappointed. Btw, spring rolls were not bad, papaya salade was beyond my expectation!

This is a place perfect for a quick lunch, as it's primarily take-away but also offers a couple of seats at the counter. The food is mostly pre-cooked and heated up (piping hot!) when ordered. I had the butter chicken curry and was very content with it very tasty, good meat quality (tough noticeable that it had been pre-cooked, cooled off a bit and heated up again) as well as decent naan (though I'd've preferred it warm). The service is very nice, polite and caring.

Despite the name, this place seems very Thai and not so Chinese. Even though the menu offers…read moreChinese food and random pho, all the cooks were speaking Thai when I was there, so I'd stick to the Thai options. I tried the tom yum goong with shrimp (€10, large) and it was pretty satisfying. This version isn't the most authentic (they add carrots, bell peppers, etc.) but the flavors were good. Lots of spice, just enough sour, strong citrus and ginger. It came with tons of shrimp and a side of rice, so it'll definitely fill you up. Overall it's solid Thai food but nothing amazing. The ambiance isn't that great, so this would be perfect for quick take out.
