The vegetarian pho is flavorful comforting and well balanced making it an easy choice whether you are dining in or picking up to go. It holds up well for takeaway and still tastes fresh. The drink selection is also good. The salty lemonade stands out and is refreshing with a nice balance of savory and citrus flavors. The coffee is strong and satisfying which is great if you need a caffeine boost after your meal. One small downside is that limes cost extra which feels a bit unnecessary especially for pho where lime is usually expected. It is not a deal breaker but worth noting. Overall Vietnamese Street Food is a reliable choice for vegetarian pho good drinks and both dine in and pickup convenience.

Since I moved to Germany, it has been hard to find a nice authentic Asian restaurant. Most of the…read moreAsian restaurants are tailored to German taste, and for locals like me, they just taste funny and way too salty or creamy, most of the times. But, This Vietnam Street Food blew my mind away. Their pho & rice roll instantly brought me back to hot summer humid day in ho ching ming city. All of the dished we tried are very delicious and authentic. The services are super friendly and sweet. They will give you good recommendations also if you dont know what to order. We were in Dusseldorf for 3 nights and came for dinners in 2 nights straight because of the quality of the food! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

All-vegan Vietnamese cuisine, not particularly authentic but also not western or fusiony. I visited…read moreon a Monday evening and it was packed, which was great to see. They have about 10 "small" plates for €6.90 each and 10 "large" plates for €13.90 each. To start, I got the magic rolls, which come with tofu slices and soy sheets wrapped in seaweed, with some greens and edamame in a rich soy sauce-dominant marinade. This was super tasty, even if on the salty side, and came out in about 2 minutes. I got the pho chay for my main, which came out in about 10 minutes (after ordering). Now, I'm absolutely spoiled for top-quality vegan pho here I'm from (Vancouver, Canada), so I wasn't expecting much. Well, it's clear they put a lot of thought into the broth -- it has a nice five spice depth to it. I asked for their homemade chili oil to amp it up, which helped a lot. The pho comes with mixed veggies (broccoli, carrot, mushroom, zucchini, baby corn, and coriander), fried tofu, and medium-width rice nooodles. Not particular authentic but nicely done. Friendly, prompt service, reasonably priced and well-portioned. Definitely worth a stop when in Dusseldorf. I'd give this 3.5 if I could, but will round to 4 since I suspect it's pretty solid Vietnamese for Dusseldorf standards.

Loved the fresh veggies on almost all the dishes. The services was great helpful but not hovering. They were pretty busy but moving tables around nicely. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls is to die for. I'm sure we will be back before the end of our trip.

FOOD & DRINKS I grew up with Vietnamese food. It basically…read moreruns through my veins. That is why I might be more critical with Vietnamese establishments than with other type of cuisines. Going through the menu I can see some very typical Vietnamese items and some very generic ones. I would skip quite a few of the items on the menu just because they don't really represent the Vietnamese cuisine. I was intrigued by the two items Bo la lot and the Banh kot and also the dessert Che Ba Mau. The Bo la lot is minced grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves. The minced beef was actually very tasty. Still juicy and and very well seasoned. Unfortunately they did pan fry this dish and therefore the leaves become oily. It is usually better to grill them on charcoal to enhance the aroma of the leaves. The Banh kot unfortunately looked very different to the ones that were shown on the picture. Of course that is not unheard of but one key ingredient was completely different. In the picture you see actual chopped up pieces of shrimp. I got something that tasted like shrimp but looked nothing like shrimp. The mini pancakes tasted a bit floury but the fresh herbs helped to counter that a bit. The dessert threw me off a lot. Che ba mau literally means a dessert in three colors. Usually the three colors are white/yellow, green and red and are represented by mung bean puree, green jelly and read beans. My dessert looked like white coconut milk with some brown beans and ice. SERVICE When I ordered I also asked for a recommendation. The waiter couldn't give me any and said everything was good and it depends on the personal preference. Though he wasn't Vietnamese I didn't want to judge his knowledge about the cuisine but I can't imagine that all items are show runners. You usually have one or a few items that you are very proud of. The rest are more fillers than anything. Service wasn't bad but wasn't amazing either. ATMOSPHERE This place looks really nice. Very modern, stylish and colorful. Definitely a great location! RATING To get four stars from me the food needs to be good. I can live with a less fancy place if you get the food right. Here the food is almost there but missed the mark just at the finish with the dessert.
