First Time at Nando's -- Blown Away!…read more This was my very first time trying Nando's, and wow -- I genuinely didn't expect to be this impressed. The chicken was absolutely next-level -- juicy, packed with flavour, and grilled to perfection. I finally understand the hype around peri-peri! The sides were just as good, especially the spicy rice. But what truly made the experience unforgettable were Jay and Shrenik. They were phenomenal -- friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best first experience possible. They walked us through the menu, gave great recommendations, and checked in just the right amount. You don't often get service like that, especially at a casual spot. I came in just looking for a quick bite, and left a full-on fan. Huge thanks to Jay and Shrenik for making my first Nando's visit so special -- I'll definitely be back!

You have to order and pay at the counter. We got the boneless platter with a side of coleslaw, mashed potatoes, garlic bread and fries. There were different sauce selection to choose from. The chicken was dry and mediocre. The food portion was not for sharing. I'm not sure if it's the branch or it was like that everywhere but I didn't enjoy my dinner.

The large is probably a bit too large so the small is best for me. I have gotten mixed and chicken and they're both very good, but I got the chicken on my last visit. Sure the guys aren't super nice and friendly but it's a takeaway place and the food is under 7 quid. You aren't going to get the best service but that's why I love this place. Cheap and cheerful! Also some seating indoors and outdoors for your convenience.

It's popular, so there are lines during the lunch period. There is limited seating. The service is very pleasant and kind of fun. Yeah, it's not the chippy fast food London experience, but it's definitely the new London fast food experience. As far as the food itself goes, it's above average. There are loads of veg I what I had, and it wasn't too salty. While I wouldn't write home Bout it unto itself, I will definitely tell you about it, and will let anyone who is gf know about it. Since the chain is all over the place, it's easy to fall back on it.

I've just had a meal at Leon, and was very pleasantly surprised…read more It's a fast-food joint, with some limited seating, located on the glass walls that now line Victoria Street, close to the Curzon cinema. Most of the options of meals or salads come pre-prepared in little boxes, though they also do burgers, wraps and salads, and small salad pots; and finally strange but fun (baked) fries in the shape of little, round grilles, served with a dipping sauce. There are plenty of vegetarian and some vegan options, too. The theme is vaguely Mediterranean, though, let's be fair, this is fast food joint, so don't expect authenticity. But my 'meatless meatballs' on a bed of whole grain rice, with a spicy tomato sauce, were really tasty, and bursting with herby flavour. I must admit I was (very pleasantly) surprised. The prices are reasonable - around £5-£7 for most of the mains. Eat-in prices are slightly higher. They serve a range of health-conscious fruit juices and shakes, plus coffee. There's free water available if you want to eat in. The company prides itself on its ethical food sourcing, fresh ingredients and eco packaging credentials. The only downside is that waiting for the food means slightly haphazard queuing at the small counter area - this branch is a victim of its own success. I'm now a fan and shall be back.

On googling Whatchamacallits I was quite disappointed to discover the only thing that came up about…read moreit was a 'poor' report from food hygiene. I eat there all the time and nothing has ever happened to me. I mean fair enough, they don't use plastic gloves, but it's about the size of a port-a-loo, they probably don't have room for a huge box of latex gloves. If they had to get rid of the microwave or some of the yummy food to make space for plastic gloves I think we would all be the worse off for it. Personally, I'm not that bothered about food hygiene, especially when I'm drunk, I have even been known to flout the three second rule (only in my kitchen, I don't actually eat food off the pavement). I would much prefer to eat a cream cheese bagel or a vegetable samosa in the middle of the night than a dirty kebab and I'm going to be quite honest here and admit that as long as I don't think about it too much I don't really care if the person who made it scratched their bum before doing so. Who's with me? Guys?
