Went on my lunch break as I was craving Chinese food. Service was fairly quick but staff were very judgmental and the interior of the restaurant was very bleak and disorganized. I ordered Orange Chicken, Fried Rice and Chow Mein. The chicken tasted okay but were very hard and overcooked, the fried rice and chow mein tasted completely rancid as if they have been fried in gutter oil. The ONLY Chinese food place in La Puente / West Covina I can vouch for! Although, everything they have is good, I literally come 2x a week just for the "jalapeño fried shrimp" sooooo bomb! My friend and I shared a 3 item combo of Fried rice & chow mein, BBQ pork, Orange chicken, Chicken teriyaki and a small side Beef and Broccoli and the jalapeño friend shrimp all for 14.00$ 7$ + change for the 3 item combo + 1 dz shrimp @ 4.00 (they also have 24 for 7$) It's more than enough to feed 2/3 people. I definitely like this place better than I like Happy Wok to be honest. The orange chicken is much more crispier and it doesn't feel like you're chewing on animal. That's why I love it. The chow mein noodles are also the thick kind which is my favorite. The taste is delicious. It's a cash only establishment so make sure you take some! It's clean and the food always seems to be fresh. The first few times I came here , it was pretty empty but lately every time I've came it's packed and the line gets pretty long.
