Overall Rating: Very Disappointed
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with our dining experience at your restaurant. Here are the specific issues we encountered:
1. Hidden Taxes: The menu price was listed as €12.95, but we were surprised to see an additional 10% IVA (VAT) added to the final bill. In Spain, it is standard practice for the menu price to include all taxes, so this felt misleading.
2. Service Delays: The waiter forgot to bring the fried rice included in the menu. I had to spend several minutes explaining the omission before it was finally served.
3. Spoiled Food: When the fried rice arrived, the dish was warm, suggesting it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The rice was clearly spoiled (sour). Between the six of us--all from Asia with over 60 years of experience eating rice daily--we know exactly when rice is no longer fresh. Both the rice and the rice noodles served to my friends were sour.
4. Unprofessional Staff: Despite our feedback, the waiter refused to replace the rice. He claimed it is changed twice a day and was fresh from an hour ago, dismissing our concerns entirely. This is unacceptable.
5. Quality of Drinks: The drinks were lousy. We were served six glasses of Coke and Fanta from the kitchen that were completely flat (no carbonation).
6. Food Safety Concerns: While the other dishes were mediocre, the experience with the spoiled rice has left us unable to trust your food preservation and hygiene standards.
