So I called for an appointment and was told she could see me on August 18 (today is July 2). I have prescriptions that have to be monitored and maintained, and I also have a very painful issues with my arm. I don't think either can wait for August 18. They are two separate appointments and they won't combine them: one is "to establish care" and the other is an illness visit. Once I see her as a "wellness visit" on August 18, I would be able to "get in quicker" to see her in the future. For now, if I'd like to be seen and monitored by "someone else" who has more availability in their schedule I could do that. Well, I've had a terrible experience with a doctor in Chicago that left me with ongoing medical issues that could have been prevented. So I did my research and selected someone I felt I could trust. I was so very lucky to have that in New Orleans (from where I just moved) and I just wanted that again. I don't really want to see "someone else" that I don't know anything about and waiting 6+ weeks to see a doctor I researched heavily. So while I can't really rate Dr. Boyd herself, this is a warning to those who are looking for a doctor: even though her site says she is accepting new patients, I don't think she really has time for them. Be sure you can wait six weeks before seeing her if you choose her. I get why she's busy -- she's good. But why advertise that you're accepting new patients when you really don't have time for someone who needs you?

(But heaven forbid you be more than 10 minutes late...they would cancel your appointment.) Not so with Dr. Boyd. I never feel rushed, either. She's genuinely a good MD. Seriously.

I don't recall exactly anymore but she wasn't an MD but had some type of functional medicine training certificate. I spent a few hundred bucks with consultations, supplements, and a stool test that didn't lead anywhere or improve my condition. She was unsuccessful in identifying the root cause nor even knew about my condition. Dr. Koz was so busy I never even had the opportunity for a one on one to ask questions, etc. Overall it wasn't a good experience and I had to move on.

"These Doctors are so incompetent. Its supposed to be a home health care where they come to your home. They seem to push a lot of pills. They don't listen to their patients. I can't tell you how many times I have had to talk to the side of their face with an occasional grunt. Either they don't get your scripts right, or they only fill have of them if you take a lot of meds. God help you if you have a serious problem. I NEVER get to talk to an actual Doctor on the phone. They aren't attentive to your issues either. I have diabetes and Asthma. Not once have they shown any concern or actual concern for my asthma. I have poison crawling up my face as I write this and all I need is a strong antibiotic. I have had this before.All I got told was go to the emergency room. But I thought that was the whole idea of homecare was to avoid the ER. They schedule me for an appointment for 3 days from now. WTF I could be dead! I have to go to the ER because these doctors don't give a rats butt." They gave me a young sweet but air headed young lady. She was the best they had, but she at least tried somewhat to work with me. She wasn't a pill pusher which a genuinely appreciated. She had her flaws though. She didn't know how to write a supporting medical letter to support an issue for court which caused justice to not be served. She messed me up pretty bad there. She was always always in a hurry so I never got to tell her everything, and the things I did get to tell her she would forget about the next visit. I have needed a colonoscopy for over 3 years.... needless to say I have yet to get it. I was forever running out of meds. Being a diabetic, I had daily meds, but they could not keep my supplied. Some times I went over a week without my meds because they were slow at prescriptions.Well, she got pregnant so now she is on maternity leave. So, now I was dealing with substitute. The first one was so tiny I thought she was a child. But that's ok. Very nice lady, Just took my vitals and she was on her way. The second one was a busy body. first time I met her. She never ran any tests, did not know my history, didn't care to know it, and decided by a visual in 5 minutes of her time, I wasn't eligible for at home services. But, my doctor has been seeing me over 3 years, and never said this. So, she asked me a couple questions, and left. My at home nurse comes over, and calls the office about my high sugar and finds out that she discharged me from the clinic. She meets me once, and doesn't know me from a can of paint and decides I am not eligible. So, I called the office, and that's when they told me about it. I told them fine they aren't the only fish in the sea. The part that really got me, was they never told me. They told the farming agency (First Assist), but never told me... Oh yes, and they are very bad about calling you or sending about test results. Primecare Physicians is horrible....Call a Veterinarian first....you'd be better off.

I was referred to Dr Tolitano because a physician suspected I had May Thurner syndrome/pelvic…read morecongestions syndrome. I had an ultrasound in his office and met with Dr. Tolitano the same day. Based upon my results, he said that I had May Thurner Syndrome and recommended we place a stint. I was called by his staff on my way home and they wanted to perform this procedure the next week. This is an invasive procedure so I of course began my research and decided to get a second opinion. I am very glad I did! I DO NOT have this condition and DO NOT require a stint per a CT scan being performed at Northwestern. Unfortunately, Northwestern has shared that they are seeing many patients that are having stints placed when not necessary. Do your research before letting any doctor perform a procedure on you. I am sure glad I did!

We have a great connection and she has good bedside manners and doesn't rush you through your visit. If she feels like you need to see a specialist then she will refer you to one's here that are good to see. She's one of the good doctors who care for her patients asking good questions etc. There's also a phlebotomist here that is wonderful Denise who I met today! Wow she can draw blood of small veins people like myself who is also scared of needles! One try and she got it wow! Believe me if she's working when I need bloodwork done I will request her for sure!! The place is clean and modern. They are off the main road of Lake st in addison. The hospital name changes since I've been coming here but the staff is still around They take most insurance including Medicare and Medicaid too! You can also come here for urgent care as well. I also like that they have a phone app to see your results and appointments and email within the app with your doctors if they are in their network. Overall I don't have issues working with them. So I'm staying put cause they are so close to home from me!

Im having the craziest week of all…read more For starters I usually get great care here. Today I came in because of chest pains that felt like a squeezing of my heart & electrical pulses. Upon entering a Fort Knox the Receptionist seemed annoyed when asking for my ID I handed my ID and Insurance card goes in the back comes back and tells me it's going to be an hour and hands me back my ID and Insurance card. I expressed I'll wait what's the worst that can happen If I Fall out on the floor, She gave me the unpleasant look and took my ID and insurance card back. For the record there are 4 cars in the parking lot including mine and no one else there. Which made me feel they did not want to take care of me. Within less than 10 min they had me back on an EKG The doctor was super nice, caring and answered all my questions and cleared me to go to ER for further testing having me call for my son to drive me to Alexian Brothers Emergency room In Elk Grove village. Thankfully after ER visit I am alive to finish this review. Thank God Thank you for reading my review

But when the girls in the front talking for 30 minutes about house hunting with the people in the back I understand that's why they don't have time for the patients. Horrible
