"Come onnn baby, dooo the loca mootion!"…read more Yes, you will feel near geriatric when you year the commercials come on talking about how the station's audience is made up of 'baby boomers' with more discretionary income than most (both not me, and not me again), but I happily rock out to some 'True Oldies' when in the mood for a little music from decades gone. Singing a little Aretha Franklin R-E-S-P-E-C-T is for sure a day brightener, plus its always funny to blare oldies with your windows down as you pull up to a car playing rap with lots of bass. So much entertainment value too. The talk aspect of the show . . .well, let's just say I'm not quite their target market. But for them to dust off the oldies so this girl can belt out some (seriously) old skool goods earns four stars.

Well, thank God, He changed my life away from way too much alcohol and knuckle sammiches just in time to become an adoptive Dad. Sometimes, when I'm driving along, I just plain get amazed at it all. This little station gets all its operating capital from contributions- no commercials at all. They offer a wide range of programs from kids to teens to oldies like me. They're little, so the reception tapers off south of downtown and north of Gainesville but, these days, I don't go much further than that anyway. BTW, they're at FM 91.5, if you've a mind to check 'em out.
