It has been a while since I have been forced to listen to this poor excuse for a radio station…read more During my early years working at various retail establishments around Atlanta, I could not escape the death grip that Star 94 had on my managers radio station preference, mainly because their crappy music was blasted on every speaker in the store. I would have random thoughts pop into my head like: "If I have to hear that stupid Bare Naked Ladies song one more time, I am going to resign. Then I will run around the store singing 'Its been one week since I looked at you', while making sure I knock every item of clothing off of its hanger, unfold all of the shirts and throw them on the floor." What is with this radio stations typical music lineup anyways? The normal play-list is usually compiled with songs that were hits on other radio station months or years earlier. It is almost like the DJs on Star 94 are in another dimension that is set a year behind the normal time in our dimension. Either that, or Star 94 just prides itself on being the radio station who is always stuck with the musical leftovers.

We got to see how everything looks and works and record our own private scout choice version of some songs in a workroom. The kids all loved being live on air and answering funny questions. They were impressed with how guests can call in and how the weather copter reports during our morning rush hour report time slot. It took a lot of persistence and patience on our part to make it happen but we're so glad we got in and made some great memories with the kids. I think the thing we really got a kick out of was hearing the scout stories of some of our favorite DJs

Singing a little Aretha Franklin R-E-S-P-E-C-T is for sure a day brightener, plus its always funny to blare oldies with your windows down as you pull up to a car playing rap with lots of bass. So much entertainment value too. The talk aspect of the show . . .well, let's just say I'm not quite their target market. But for them to dust off the oldies so this girl can belt out some (seriously) old skool goods earns four stars.

He flew through the damages, took pictures, did not get onto the roof or in the attic or thoroughly document the damage. I received a ridiculous settlement amount which I did not accept. I called, emailed and called some more.... completely ignored. Called and emailed my assigned adjusters supervisor and completely ignored even more. I asked for a new adjuster to be assigned, no answer... If you are in the process of shopping for homeowners insurance than stay away from Lloyds of London. Engle-martin is a third party adjuster for LOL. They will try to force you to sign their settlement, even after refusing to sign they sent a check for the amount to me, which I still have. I refuse to be taken advantage of.
