No crazy lights and smoke effects. Just good old fashioned magic... with a new twist. His jokes are adorably punny. He gets children excited, and helps keep their attention with audience participation. Tricks are simple enough that kids feel like they ALMOST have it figured out, yet complex enough to keep them guessing. My children have always come away from one of his shows with a renewed interest in magic. After each show we have attended Charlie has allowed the kids to pet the rabbit he uses in some of his tricks. He really is great with children. Even as an adult I enjoy watching his shows.
