Everyone in the office has a lovely smile, makes eye contact and seems happy to be at work. Dr Philbin was such a gift. I had a moment of panic right before surgery and he sat with me and did not rush me through it. He listened to every concern and answered every question. My surgery was performed at Southdale Fairview and I couldn't have been more pleased and satisfied with my care team. Post-surgery, Dr Philbin and his patient coordinator have answered every email within hours, usually minutes, made time for me and seen me when it is necessary. Karisa is such a delight. She took before pictures and asked a few questions before nurse Lindsey came in. Lindsey blew me away. First of all, she has incredible eye contact, says funny things, and is very educated on anatomy (she speaks intelligently it makes me feel secure, and develops great trust quickly). Lindsey took the time to listen to my concerns and educated me on the process, and when performing the procedure she had such a calm presence and demeanor and made for a more relaxing situation. Lindey helped with lip filler, cheek filler, and Botox. You could tell that patience and comfort are one of Lindsey's top priorities along with precision. I'm so happy my lips didn't bruise! My results thus far are amazing but still healing. The front office staff Dawn and Nick were a pleasure to interact with too. Nick did a great job with offering me a program I could sign up for and help same money at my next visits.

I reached out a little over a month before surgery and asked about the timelines because I was getting nervous about quitting and had just picked up my meds to quite. The response I received is attached to the review. Never once did I mention not having the surgery but they immediately went to how I was now having to pay $4000 to book. Disgusting, fraudulent and unprofessional to say the least. Nobody in their right mind would allow someone to perform surgery on their face after being treated like this. Be aware. When I asked to speak with the doctor, they refused to let me speak with her as well, saying she was in surgery and they were the only ones to speak with clients. I asked the staff to have her call me when she was available. A week later, I have still not received a call back, nor the courtesy of a reply from anyone else in the office. He also just took my septum completely out instead of fixing it. So now I've spent 31k on my nose. I've attached the photo of his nose (top) that Dr.Mesna did, along with the one I just got from a different surgeon. It now looks way more natural and nice compared to what he did to me. I was having injections of my glabellar which included the two corrugator muscles. Before he injected I asked if he would talk for a few minutes about placement of the injection site. I had done a little research. he said, "I'll do it my way". A few days later, I noticed wavy lines above my corrugator muscles and called the office. They said I could come in for a touch up. I just asked for a refund. They said the lines would 'go away'. Well, they haven't. And it will be a year in June, I've been to two other dermatologists and an occuplastic surgeon. And it is called corrugator muscle atrophy, either he used too much Botox or it was placed incorrectly. The occuplastic surgeon said he hadn't seen anything like it in his 30 years of practice. If I try a few other procedures like Rf microneedling or laser, it could cost quite a lot, since it has to be done more than once. I look at the lines every day and wish I had never seen this doctor.
