My experience with Dr. Gervais and his team has been exceptional from start to finish. I initially chose Dr. Gervais after hearing a glowing recommendation from a friend who had an "100/10" experience with him for her breast augmentation. Based on her experience, I knew I had to consider him as my surgeon for mine. From the moment I walked into the office, I was impressed by how friendly and efficient the team was. I never had to wait long for appointments, which is something I often experience with other doctors. For me, the most important qualities in a surgeon were achieving natural results and finding someone I felt comfortable with. During my initial consultation, Dr. Gervais immediately put me at ease. He was thorough, respectful, and answered all of my questions. I could tell right away he was someone I could trust. After our discussion, I tried on various implant sizes, and his team was incredibly patient, allowing me to take my time with the decision. They also reassured me that I could come back any time before the surgery to try on sizes again if I wanted. I ended up doing just that, which really helped solidify my decision and made me feel confident. On surgery day, I was surprisingly calm, mostly excited, and I attribute that to Dr. Gervais and his team's warm, welcoming nature. They made me feel comfortable and ready for the procedure. The surgery went smoothly, and recovery was much easier than I expected (and much easier than my caretakers anticipated as well!). I was pleasantly surprised by how little pain I was in and how quickly I felt back to normal. As for the results, they are exactly what I was hoping for. The natural look is perfect, and everyone who's seen me post-surgery is amazed by how great my recovery went and how natural my results look (we've all seen some of the less-than-ideal breast augmentations out there!). My expectations were high. I had done my research. Dr Gervais had the right certifications, experience, and had been recognized by his peers as a Mpls/St Paul Top Doctor. However, what exceeded my expectations was the warm, caring, supportive, and very personal experience. Everything about my experience with Minneapolis Plastic Surgery was unique and exceptional. Dr Gervais has assembled a team to support him who exude friendliness, kindness, goodness, positive energy, interject fun, and bend over backwards to ensure your comfort. I especially appreciated their accessibility and prompt responses both before and after surgery. Dr Gervais himself somehow makes the uncomfortable comfortable and is professional yet personable. It's hard to put into words, but the procedures left me feeling more vitality, more comfortable in my clothes, and better about myself. I recently saw my GP for an annual exam. She asked who had done the procedures, complimenting Dr Gervais on his work, and said, 'You can hardly see the scars!" When I went in for my consultation, Dr. Gervais was so thorough he answered all my questions before I even asked. The same thoroughness happened the morning of surgery and throughout my recovery.
