He has been doing plastic surgery for over 30 years and has phenomenal ratings on realself. I originally had a virtual consultation that went well but he let me know right away he wanted to see me in person before confirming exact procedure. So I flew my behind to MN to meet this awesome Doc in person! The office and staff are sooo nice and friendly. Doc was so well dressed, comforting and knowledgeable. From the time we started the consultation, he completely provided a respectfu environment. Before I left the house to go see him, I was telling my bff how I need a doc to grab all up on my skin so I can really see what's gna be gone after surgery- that is exactly what he did. He was lifting, pulling and creating a visual for me- soo helpful! I was so convinced that I would need an FDL in addition to 360, but he assured be after seeing me in person that I would not need it and he didn't want to do it, saving my an extra scar and money- I greatly appreciate that! Everyone in the office has a lovely smile, makes eye contact and seems happy to be at work. Dr Philbin was such a gift. I had a moment of panic right before surgery and he sat with me and did not rush me through it. He listened to every concern and answered every question. My surgery was performed at Southdale Fairview and I couldn't have been more pleased and satisfied with my care team. Post-surgery, Dr Philbin and his patient coordinator have answered every email within hours, usually minutes, made time for me and seen me when it is necessary. I am 2 months out and almost wish i had another reason to see them regularly. I highly HIGHLY recommend him and his office.

The insurance company even called them to advise it was covered and to have them send in the preauthorization. They failed to send in the preauthorization and after their policy changed in 2025, now advised me they no longer do insurance cases, and decided my deposit is no longer refundable. I even had two other correction surgeries done and it still did not fix the issues I had. I paid for them out of pocket even though they had my deposit on hold. I advise not to schedule surgery here. You will be very disappointed. You will have to file legal action to get your money back. They do not care what your needs are, they just care on how much money they make.

I had to pay 20k to get revision rhinoplasty because it was so bad. The doctor I saw for a revision even said it was pretty bad and messed up and super bulky on the bottom. He also just took my septum completely out instead of fixing it. So now I've spent 31k on my nose. I've attached the photo of his nose (top) that Dr.Mesna did, along with the one I just got from a different surgeon. It now looks way more natural and nice compared to what he did to me. I also have a septum now. I wouldn't recommend having rhinoplasty here. The pain you go through to do it and then it comes out bad is not ok. Along with how much it costs..
