I advise men to not allow their wives to drag them here. They are very gynocentric in nature. Look up MGTOW and the red pill forums before looking like one of the simps who was being dragged in by his wife to be beat back into submission by these counsellors. The men all looked like they hated being there and I figured out why when I went myself. Something else to add was that the counsellor was late by 5 min but ended on time which means she stole 5 min from me and when I mentioned she was late rather than apologizing she sternly talked down to me as to why she was late which told me my time was not valued by her.

We clicked right away. I told her my expectations and desires for EMDR, she told me that she could do that. We meet a week later. At the end of May. Fast forward to mid September as I am dropped as client by Luma Vita. I was during a scheduled phone call (as she read off of a script) that she can't help me reach my goals... Even though, back in May ... SHE TOLD ME SHE COULD. When I asked her the reason, she wouldn't give me a reason. When I asked her again , she only sent a reveral list. When I asked a 3rd and final time , she told me that my emails were unwelcome and told me to stop. I'm 45 and have seen numerous therapists trying to better myself. I have never had the type of disrespect and lack of care from any other therapist EVER. If she told me "Hey you missed 2 appointments.." I would have said, "Yup, you're right... my fault". I was given not 1 good , concrete reason. All I got was "I hear how important it is for you to be able to finish EMDR. Through my own supervision and consultation, I've provided a list of recommendations for therapists to better assist you in completion of this goal. I wish you the best moving forward. " I would personally avoid this company. If you have complex trauma or want EMDR there are much much better places to go that value you and want to treat you with respect.
