I don't get Kingswood. I'm sure it's got plenty to offer, I just tend to find it a bit depressing.
However, it's easy to see what The Kingswood Foundation has to offer and the cafe is situated within the foundation. The place used to be a school and it's been turned into a community resource and a very good one it is too.
The cafe is a very pleasant and safe place to sit and drink a nice hot drink. They do panini and quiche and baked potatoes. They bake a cake every day and buy in others.
It's frequented by a range of service users from the orally impaired to those training to be circus performers. Always a friendly vibe ad the staff is friendly.
I am not going to say that the food is good. I had a veggie lasagne once and it was dry and tasteless and came with foam style garlic bread and a alad garnish. You'll be safer with a sarnie. But the hot chocolate is delicious, thick and frothy. And not expensive either at £1.55 for a small one. read more
