We were told to arrive between 8.30 and 9.00pm due to how 'busy' they would be. We arrived at 8.50 to a restaurant with 3 full tables and the proceeded to be told we were late de3spite us not receiving a set time for our table. The food was ok at best, although my first 2 choices were sold out (I was told they only keep limited stock in to keep it fresh) but it was rather lukewarm and I have to say all of my party felt the same and left unsatisfied. On the 3rd occasion my partner and I went for 'Rib Night' on a Sunday at around 7.30. We were greeted by no one as 3 members of staff sat on the far side of the restaurant and we had to call them over. The restaurant was completely empty and when we asked if they were still serving we were told: "Yeah but we are closing soon because it's quiet." We weren't offered a table at this point and it was quite clear we weren't welcome so we decided to leave and opted to visit Indus where thankfully we had an excellent night and fantastic meal as always. To summarise, worth a shout for a roast lunch on a Sunday but I'd avoid on an evening. The owner is friendly but the staff sadly are not.

However, we were very disappointed with this restaurant and in particular the service. We were put off the minute we arrived as the 3 men in our party ordered 3 draft beers. However, when we watched them at the bar we saw tins of John Smiths being poured into the glasses. When we questionned why we were paying £3.60 for a tin of beer when it was advertised as draft, we were told they had run out of draft and that we would still have to pay the full amount. Also, on the evening we went there was a group of thirty in the restaurant for a Christmas Party (even though it was nearly February) which we were not warned of when we booked the table. The party was extremely noisy and you could not even hear the conversation on our table. Although the noise was not necessarily their fault, the way the management handled it was not good, and they even tried to tell us there was nothing they could do. Our fun night out with friends was definately ruined by poor management.

I reside in the states and have visited various Brazilian restaurants including Texas De Brazil - which if you visit America I highly recommend. I was sorely disappointed with Samba Brazil. The "salad bar" was almost nonexistent compared with the vast variety I have seen at other Brazilian places, and as for the four items on the hot plates, they were unappetizing and the rice was cold and hard. I had some on my plate with pork which was also luke warm at best. This doesn't surprise me as the food is located right by the front door where the cold air comes in! When we complained about this to the owner he tested the temperature and stated that it was 65 degrees. (Which has now been put on Facebook under my sisters review as 77 degrees, this is incorrect!) Even so, while this may have been true for the bottom of the pan, the top was cold and was inedible regardless. I might also add that at this time we had been in the restaurant for approximately 15 minutes served a £2.20 coke from the can, plated our "food" from the buffet and then told the meat would be another 5-10 minutes. I refused to let my sister pay £23.99 per person for this lacking and appalling spread when it doesn't justify its self, wish I had taken pictures. Fortunately we left and had a delicious meal elsewhere. As for the other "groups" it was 7:30 pm on a Saturday night, there was two other people on another table. While waiting outside for our taxi we noticed two additional people walk in, and five minutes walked back out. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant The owner as claimed we were after a free meal. This is laughable at best. We complained at the beginning of our meal after we waited for management to come to our table. He was rude and argumentative. We then, as we had already decided left this restaurant as the food we had seen thus far didn't leave much to be desired. If one was "after a free meal" they surely would complain at the end after eating their fill. This is a sorry attempt by the owner which I have seen him claim on other bad reviews. He has also claimed we hate half of ours plates. Again this is false. We did not eat but a couple of bites which left s bad taste in our mouths. I refuse to pay for something that is not editable. We left before the meat was served, because even though we had prebooked, and been in the place for 10-15 minutes at this point the meat was still going to be 5-10 minutes. Not that I have to justify myself but we left this restaurant and went to a local restaurant in Peterborough which has been around for 30+ years which was lovely. I don't foresee this for this restaurant. Sorry. As for the owners claims of our reviews being fake reviews. I don't see how a customers experience and then posting about it is FAKE. Take the bad review and do better! Your food, service and attitude is poor. Best of luck!
