I had this as part of a deal where you can have half a sandwich as well. I went for brie and chutney in white bread. The sandwich was very good. My son had a cheese and salad wrap which in is own way said was great. Place was clean and staff friendly. Coffee was good again, I had the Americano with cold milk. They had some homemade fudge next to the till, yes it was an impulse buy but it tasted very good.

The cakes look very nice, but on this occasion I was looking for a light, but filling lunch. I decided on a sandwich with a side of coleslaw. The sandwich was ok, but there were quite a few fatty, not edible bits of bacon in it and I ended up just removing it altogether. The coleslaw was mostly mayo, not a lot of slaw... I'd give it another go, as it has been recommended to me by a few people that I work with and it seems to be a very popular cafe... there must be a reason and hopefully I will discover that reason next time around.

There are too many tables with seats at them rather than comfortable armchairs or sofas unfortunately it just looks like an extension of the local Morrison's cafe! Better places in Grantham to have a coffee try the Guildhall across the road I will next time.
