The number one thing I was looking for in an officiant was someone that could make it seem like they had known us for years. Someone that would take in all of the personal details about us and tell a story. He had people laughing, smiling, and crying throughout our ceremony - all for the right reasons! We also presented an odd request - to do a tequila shot during the ceremony! This is something that had a story behind it was very special to us. He absolutely nailed it and worked it into his speech so flawlessly so that it made it seem normal. We also had a unexpected event happen during our ceremony that he handled very well. He was professional and compassionate, he got so many compliments on how we acknowledged the incident, then proceeded without missing a beat. He was truly the prefect person for the job and I would recommend him every single time.

My daughter is getting married in our backyard this month. I spoke with Robbin several weeks ago…read more He committed to the wedding. It's now 2.5 weeks before the wedding and he just bailed. He claimed that he accidently double booked the date. This is weeks after his initial committment. When asked why the other wedding got preference he stated that it was because the other had couple paid. I found this disingenous because we had spoken about a deposit, etc when he initially committed. He should have just not committed. Bottom line is that we are now stuck without an officiant. I my opinion: No way to run a business. Suggest you look elsewhere.

I do not believe in astrology but Janet Amid is spookily good. We booked her for a party once…read morewhere Janet arrived and set up shop in the basement. Ahead of time we all provided first name, gender, and place/date/time of birth. Janet ran star charts in software for all of us before she came, and then did a personal reading for each of us while the rest of the group partied upstairs. Janet's readings are very effusive, personal, and specific. She is constantly flipping through this big reference book as she talks, looking up particular aspects or subtleties and then interpreting. She tapes her readings as she gives them so you can remember just what she said and what she has projected. She's very personal and combines a certain down-to-earth-mama attitude with a slight otherworldly edge. Afterward we all listened to each other's tapes which were quite personal and very heavy and we all agreed she was very, very accurate. The only person who seemed a little off later found out her birthdate and location were inaccurate so her chart was off. Again, I do not believe in astrology but this was a lot of fun. It was an eye opener. Having her read off what was going on in my life, what had been going on, and what was about to go on was pretty spooky because it was spot on. Janet has a website at http://www.janetamid.com/ and I believe she will do emailed readings for you.

Janet was spot on with her session , very freindly person, will definetly go back for more readings.read more

I simply cannot overstate the level of service that she provided for my wife and I. We were crunched for time, and Marry-Makers one-stop shopping philosophy made it possible for us to have the beautiful wedding that we desired, on a date that was important for us. Jill understood, and helped with every aspect of the wedding, from where to go to get the license, to helping find a venue for the ceremony at the last minute, and picking a florist. SHE EVEN PERFORMED THE CEREMONY AND GAVE ME PERSONAL HELP WRITING MY VOWS!. It isn't possible to explain the level of service that she provided us, because I have never experienced anything like it. Marry-Makers cares, and you will know it. Do not hesitate to call them. I literally wouldn't be Married right now if it wasn't for Jill and Marry-Makers. THANK YOU!!! Marry-makers is as good as it gets. Several friends of ours saw the level of service that they provided and are planning on using them as well. My wife can't wait to see what Marry-Makers does to make each of their days as special, and unique as ours.
