Harley at Design Prodigy is the perfect combination of honesty, integrity, talent, and knowledge…read moreall delivered with tremendous kindness, and respect. He is upfront about budget and costs and keeps you updated every step of the way so there are no unpleasant surprises. What puts Harley's company in a league of its own, is his team. These are not subcontractors with tons of other jobs all happening simultaneously. He hand picked these workers, who are masters in their fields. What this means is, that team showed up early every morning. They worked hard and wasted no time. They are experts at what they do and they take pride in the job they perform. Harley treats your job like he is working on his own house. This comes across very clearly in every decision and choice he makes to select materials, plants, products, etc. He also consulted me before every design decision was made, from the the height of the step leading to the backyard, to the exact color of the cement, to the exact placement of the plants before the digging took place. Another designer may have gone ahead and planted the plants per the architectural design, but Harley has this innate understanding that people change their minds when they see things actually laid out, or after they have time to think about the project as it it progressing. It is this insightful understanding about human nature, that greatly reduces stress during the project as you come to trust and appreciate these rare qualities that you don't find in most people. I am so pleased with the work Design Prodigy did in the backyard.

Nick listened closely to what I was dreaming and then found all the perfect plants to make the dream come true. What was once a grassy plot filled with potential is now a gorgeous, edible landscape with tropical feel. I really appreciate how Nick understood my budget, values, and needs and worked to create the best possible outcome. He repurposed nearly every brick and stone he found in my yard, created a watering system, and redirected my gutters and created a rain garden. He has a gift of vision, and the rare ability to put that vision into action. I just love finding Nick in my backyard, communing with the plants he loves so much. It is a joy to learn from him.

We also had a backyard with a 40 degree slope and was difficult to access and navigate. Both owners Malika & Alex came out and listened to our concerns and shared their vision on how to transform our side yard and backyard slope into something that addressed all our concerns. They even provided one the spot renderings so we could envision what the final outcome would be. I can't begin to explain how they turned our project into something that is showcase quality. Their attention to detail and professionalism is of the highest standards. The crew were respectful of property, genuinely professional and they completed our project in record time. I think this company from the top, down to the crew are hands down the best company in the area.

The price was very reasonable for the originally planned work, but in the end it turned out to be a great value for everything they did to get it perfect for us. Jesus is extremely nice and approachable, and he was excellent with communication and check-ins. As soon as they finished the backyard landscaping job today, I signed another contract for them to do our fencing, and we're planning on having them back to improve our sprinkler system next Spring.

They even pulled weeds from plants and pots around the yard. Way above and beyond what I expected. The one draw back is how long it takes them to cash checks. We hired Wild Oasis for a complex and challenging landscaping job that several others had either…read morepassed on or seemed stumped by. From the beginning, Alex (the owner) impressed us with his thoughtful planning, clear communication, and confident approach to a destroyed yard: a post-construction disaster zone wherein our entire quarter-acre plot of land was turned into a pit of uneven, impacted mud. Our project involved building a retaining wall, grading, improving drainage, and hauling away a large dump truck of poor quality fill dirt. It was a tough job, but they handled it with incredible professionalism and skill from start to finish. Not only did they tackle the hard work with skill and efficiency, but they also went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right--down to the last detail, suggesting water timers and tripod sprinklers that worked well. Their team was professional, and respectful. The dumpster company he hired accidentally knocked over my mailbox. I texted him about it the evening I noticed it; it was replaced by the next morning. Also, Alex genuinely seemed to care about the outcome, calling and later stopping by after a week to check the progress. The end result was even better than we imagined. What was once a sad and frustrating yard is now beautiful, usable, and a joy to spend time in again. We're incredibly grateful for their hard work and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for quality landscaping--especially for projects that are a challenge or too difficult for others. We plan to hire Wild Oasis to come back to help us naturescape our property ASAP. Thank you again for an amazing job!
