Heidi sure does know how to put together a special night! After entering and winning her IG…read moregiveaway, I had high expectations due to the wonderful experience she had planned. But when I say the night far exceeded those expectations? I mean it. What an incredible night. Heidi thought of every last thing to create a beautiful and romantic experience for my husband and I. It started with a blowout and style at a great salon in preparation for a beach sunset photoshoot. We then got to meet with an incredibly talented photographer who got some of the best pictures I have to date. But the second leg of our night is where Heidi's attention to detail and ability to create a lasting experience came into play. She greeted us at a dock where she had flowers, champagne, snacks and a beautiful sunset ride around the bay. My husband and I got to sit back and enjoy a wonderful evening on the water while our photographer continued to get great candid shots of us. Heidi planned things down to the minute but it didn't feel that way one bit. She made sure we had fun while she handled all of the logistics. And what a precious woman she was to be around. Bubbly, energetic and just the sweetest event planner. We are so thankful we got to experience that night and we can't wait to work with Heidi again soon.

Heidi also guided us with my etiquette questions and her positive attitude made me more and more excited as the big day approached. It was so dreamy and felt like it was taken straight out of a magazine. Plus the company is woman owned, which we all stand for! The customer service was top notch, she even asked if we had any food allergies, which I think is such an important request to ask nowadays! I highly recommend Enchanting Picnic for any of your picnic needs cause I guarantee you will be blown away by how stunning it looks. If you needed a sign to have a picnic, this is yours and use this company for any occasion. I'll definitely be using them in the future for sure.

We truly cannot say enough great things about Yard & Sea as an event venue!…read more We hosted our 20-year high school reunion here, and from the very first interaction, Jay went above and beyond as a venue host. He made our site visit seamless, and once we booked, the level of support exceeded all expectations. The pricing is incredibly reasonable--especially compared to other venues--and Yard & Sea includes so much like tables, linens, chairs, etc. It is flexible, customizable, and works for a range of budgets and needs. The vendors they work with are top-notch. We received tons of compliments on the tacos and the photo booth was a huge hit. (This wasn't your average setup--it was a high-end experience where you can customize the photo strip design, pick your backdrop, and choose from options like GIFs, photo series, and more!) The space itself is open concept, essentially a blank canvas with tons of potential for decor, and perfectly located in the heart of Pacific Beach. The reserved parking lot was a huge bonus, and Jay let us in as early as noon to set up--and even allowed us to store things overnight for next-day pickup. The setup and breakdown team worked fast and efficiently, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful before/after the event. Between the location, pricing, flexibility, and overall vibe, Yard & Sea was the perfect venue for our reunion. It felt like an elevated house party in the best possible way, and we're so glad we found it!

I was told one hour before the party, so I followed their recommendation and scheduled delivery for 10am. At 10:10am, with no one there, I called to ask for an update. The person I spoke with was incredibly rude and said she would try to reach the driver and call me back. Twenty minutes later, I still had not heard anything, so I called again. At that point I was told that I had signed terms and conditions allowing them a much larger window to arrive. After the fact, I actually went back and read the 9 page agreement. It does say that the company is not responsible for delivery and pickup delays, but I could not find the larger delivery window I was told on the phone that I had agreed to. Regardless, I had specifically asked their staff what time I should schedule delivery for an 11am party and followed the one hour recommendation they gave me. The bounce house finally arrived at 10:54am, six minutes before the party started. Thankfully it got set up, but having no idea whether the main attraction for a children's birthday party would even be there when guests arrived made an already hectic morning incredibly stressful. The setup was also poorly thought out. Both the blower and generator were positioned facing directly toward the party area, making that entire side so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. We ended up having to reposition things ourselves just to make the space usable. Pickup was scheduled for 3pm, and unfortunately the communication was no better. No one arrived, my repeated calls went to voicemail because the line was "busy," and I received no response to the voicemail I left. Eventually the driver called and said he was still 17 minutes away. At that point I had a baby and toddler who needed to get home, so I told him I could no longer wait, and he said that was fine. A few days later, I received an email notifying me that they had issued a partial refund because of the experience. I genuinely appreciate that they acknowledged there was a problem and provided a partial refund. However, considering everything that happened, I think a phone call and an apology would have gone a long way. The bounce house itself was fine. The issue was the service, communication, and reliability surrounding it. There are plenty of rental companies to choose from, and based on this experience, I would choose a different one next time.
