I picked up supplies from our local office in Marble Falls, Tx on 7-20-26. Staff was very helpful…read moreand friendly. I received a statement with a $0 balance and was told insurance covered it. On 9-5-26, I rec'd a bill dated 8-18-26. I called their billing department in Abilene, Tx. Re the bill dated, I was told "There's nothing I can do about it. They come out of PA. I explained that I have a delivery ticket with a $0 balance and was told insurance covered the full amount. The billing lady told me "That's just an estimate just like when you go to doctor and there's no way the staff would know my responsibility." I replied that if their practice, I'd need to return the product. She responded that that was my decision. I also tried to tell her that when I get medical services from physicians, I always know my responsibility before the service. But she interrupted and didn't let me finish my sentence. She said, loudly and aggressively, "I'm not going to argue with you. If you want to return the product, that's up to you." Terrible customer service. No attempt to retain business. Summary attitude: I can't do anything about it and I don't care if you return product. Said she'd have her supervisor call me the next day. I replied, "That will be fine" and hung up. Supervisor call never received. I called our local office and spoke to Sherri. How refreshing! She had a great attitude! She looked at my account on computer and said the problem was that my account was incorrectly set up to show insurance paid 100 percent. She owned the issue and said it had been fixed and assured me it would not happen again. She was incredibly kind and even took time to explain some things about my product I didn't know or understand. Outstanding customer service!! The attitude of our local office was excellent and the exact opposite of the Abilene office. There are many ways to tell a customer "no" and be kind and retain their business. The attitude of the billing office is inexcusable! I've talked with Sherri and with Sid in the past and received very caring and kind service. I hope this review will allow their billing office some much needed training in customer service. Billing personnel is a hard job. I know bc I just retired from a career in billing. The attitude in the billing department is NOT ok. I would give our local office in Marble Falls, as well as Sid in Abilene 5 stars. I'd give their billing office 1 star or less if I could. Their replies were not only in error, but inexcusably rude and unnecessary. They need to understand their attitude represents the company every time they take a phone call. Sid and Sherri seem to know that and care about the person on the other end of the phone. Completely different customer service!!

They would then order the walker and have it within a week. None of those locations had walker in-stock to look at or test. I finally called Georgetown Home Medical Equipment and spoke with Andrea. She was friendly and answered all of my questions including a price range. She stated they had numerous models available in the store and ready for purchase and pickup. Upon arrival, Andrea showed me the different models; weight restrictions; easy of storage; and brake functions. I picked out a medium weight 'Lifestyle' model in Teal Green. Purchase was simple and easy. And my mother doesn't have to wait another week for her walker.

The lady took measurements and I was able to get a set today for my trip and she ordered another pair. She showed me a chair that might assist me a great deal.
