Horrible and dishonest company. They lied about what materials they used and charged me an extra 240$ for them. I provided my own supplies and asked them multiple times to use them first, and they still didn't. Poorly packed multiple items resulting in torn upholstery, broken lamp, mugs, etc. They stacked heavy furniture on top of boxes which resulted in some getting crushed. I hired a different company to unpack, and they commented on how unprofessional and bad the job was. I moved in October 2025, and I have still not been able to get a refund despite buying their insurance. What a scam. I strongly recommend you find anyone else to help you move. I tried reporting them to the BBB. They reply saying they're working with the customer, and it's been a month since I've heard anything from them. We needed help moving our belongings out of a POD and into our rental and the three gentlemen who were sent to our home were nothing short of excellent. They were courteous, respectful of our property, hard workers, helpful beyond words. My initial estimate was around $1600. I told the person over the phone that I was moving two households into one. I gave them a list of all the larger pieces and then reiderated that it was two households. Was told they'd be at my home around 9:30. Got a text that said between 9:30 and 10:30. Okay. Then another text that said around 11:00. Three young men arrived in a 26 foot rented UHaul. I knew it would hold all my stuff, let alone the other household's. The men were polite, kind, and worked very hard. All my things didn't fit, as I knew they wouldn't. They loaded as much as they could and took it to the new address 30 minutes away. They unloaded quickly and efficiently and left for the other house (another 30 minutes back to Wetumpka). It was close to 8 pm when they finished (never returning to my original house for the rest of my things). The amount owed was close to $3000. Seriously fantastic service from initial phone call to delivery. They answered my call on my first attempt, took my information and asked for pictures, I had a formal quote within 24 hours and a move date within 2 days of my initial phone call, completely accommodated by immediate need for the move. Antoine and Courtney were extremely respectful, very careful with my furniture and accommodated any request I made (I needed to clean the purchased item before putting in location). Let me start by praising Kerry (spelling?) Harvis -- that man worked. TLDR: Reserved help unloading two trucks a couple of weeks in advance-one easy job and one hard job. Company sent 3 men to easy job for ridiculous pay and 1 man to hard job for equally ridiculous pay. Will not be using your services again and will recommend others avoid the company. I needed help unloading two trucks on two different days. Both loads were booked on 22 April for the dates of 30 April and 11 May. One was an easy unload into a first-level (no stairs) storage unit. I had loaded the truck with a college student in about 45 minutes. Even after telling the company what was expected, Wise Guys insisted on sending a 3-man crew with a 3-hour minimum because it was to be on a Saturday. The unload took approximately 30 minutes and cost well over $500. The second truck was a different situation, and I told the company (Denise, specifically) that whomever was to be sent would earn their pay. The truck would need to be unloaded into a third-floor apartment and would have lots of heavy furniture to be carried up stairs. It took two Cross Fit, college kids 3 hours to load the truck out of a one-story home. The whole event started badly when Wise Guys did not call to confirm the job until 7:30 am for a 9:00 am job and only after I had called the day before to confirm the contract. At 9:15 Kerry showed up by himself with NO HELP. At 11:15 ONE additional helper showed up -- he carried in two pieces of furniture and left. At roughly 12:15 a third man showed up who ultimately assisted with 3 pieces of furniture. My son and I moved nearly as much as the company's men moved. At no time during or after this event did the company call to seek to modify our contract. read more

Needed unopened furniture boxes moved from Auburn to Opelika and then the furniture assembled at the new office. The website wouldn't take my card saying the address didn't match. Called Capital One and they said it was getting reversed by the website before it ever hit them. After several tries and calls with Antoine I just put it on my debit card. You don't get a credit for unused time so I started with 2 guys for 2 hours. They arrived and moved my stuff. I had one desk that was already assembled and I watched it get banged in to doors at both locations. We spent time waiting on the boss to meet them with tools to assemble the equipment (even though I said I had tools). That time was "on the clock" which is funny since they ended up not assembling any of the furniture. About 2:30 pm Antoine called saying they wouldn't finish so I said no problem and offered to buy another hour or two but was told they couldn't stay. 'Why' was weird. I really got the impression they just didn't want to assemble the Bush Furniture. They started with one filing cabinet. When I looked to see what was done, all the pieces were out laid on the floor (with the finished sides down on the floor). I'm no pro but I usually use put the boxes the furniture arrives in on the ground to assemble not wanting to scratch brand new furniture. No assembly was done, just one box opened and all the pieces laid out on the floor. You pay a $60 "travel fee" so that was on top of the labor. That's part of why I wanted to pay them to finish the job. Before I placed the order online, I asked what we do if they need more time...and Antoine said just buy more time. There was no mention of a time cutoff. Antoine said they were short staffed due to the holidays but I made it clear I wasn't in a rush. With the "travel fee", I would have postponed the move to another day when they would have time to finish if I would have know...but again I think they just didn't want to assemble the furniture. If it was 'fun', I would have done it (which it looks like now I will). I will say, the guys that came to do the move were very personable. I liked them both and really wished things would have worked out. We have a lot more "move opportunities" but unfortunately I'm still looking for the right partner. read more

Worst moving company I had ever dealt with. I would not recommend these people to anyone. After my experience with wise guys moving I would rather moved my stuff myself. 1st they showed up with way too small Of a truck and then told me that they were going to be charging me $1200 instead of $600. They broke my printer, Couch ,dented door knobs, scratched my washer and dryer and dented a new Water cooler plus scratched the paint on walls. After paying them $1200 on Friday I had to move 4 more pick up trucks full of my stuff to complete my move. The owner broke most of the items I mentioned. He was also Uncooperative and unprofessional. read more

Eric and Carey were phenomenal! They were early, polite and worked their tails off. I have never seen more skilled/efficient packers. our U-Haul was undersized, and they did everything they could to fit our household items. They even assisted us with our car trailer, which was outside their scope of responsibility. They have been doing this for twenty years.
