I had an appointment for an HVAC inspection and cleaning. I received a courtesy call from Jamie, our assigned HVAC Techician about 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time. Jamie arrived on time if not a little earlier than I expected. Jamie was polite, courteous, motivated and appeared happy to be here. I, myself am a career Army aviation mechanic with over 20 years of mechanical experience. Jamie is young. Not very long out of trade school, but her hard-charging and positive can do attitude pointed to a person who liked what she was doing. Despite her youth she knew her job and knew what she was doing. Her professionalism and attitude cast Wirenut Home Service in a good light and made me feel better about hiring a company that I had no previous experience with. The inspections she conducted were comprehensive and thorough. The work she conducted took quite a while yet during the entire process she expressed concern for my thoughts, ideas, observations and questions. All of my questions were satisfactorily answered. If Jamie could not directly answer a question she was humble enough to contact someone who could answer my question. At no time did I feel like she was trying to BS me. Based on her inspections she was able to make recommendations and present various price quotes to suit my present and future needs. The price she quoted for the work she conducted on this visit was reasonable, and well within the limits of what I was expecting based on local research I had done prior to scheduling this appointment. There were no hard pushes for up-sales, add-ons and extras which I really appreciated. Some push is to be expected though. The only extra that presented was Wirenut Home Services "Ultimate Protection Plan" (UPP) which I was already aware of based on TV advertisements I have seen. Even so, it was not a hard sell. The UPP was merely presented or recommended as a advisory. As a worthwhile, useful and potentially money/trouble saving plan which my wife and I decided to opt-in for. Jamie likes working for Wirenut Home Services and she is certainly a benefit to the company. Hopefully, in the future for any of our follow-on HVAC needs we will get to have Jamie return to perform the work. If the other Technicians at Wirenut Home services have half the can-do attitude and motivation as Jamie then I am sure that no matter who they appoint to perform the work it will be performed skillfully and professionally and reflect well on the company. The only potential issue that I had was with the individual I spoke with on the phone initially as I was arranging this particular appointment. This person appeared to very distracted, (to the point it was difficult to converse), and somewhat irritated. Maybe that person was irritated, but I doubt they were irritated at me. But, it was difficult not to take it that way. I don't know that persons situation so I did not allow it influence my review. read more

I would also like to give a shout out to Carter and Dominic who came out to repair some electrical work for me. Carter went above and beyond to check my electrical box and furnace to ensure everything was running smoothly. Wirenut installed a new furnace and a new air conditioning unit. Tim and the guys did an amazing job. I was pretty sure they would do a good job but I was pleasantly surprised that it exceeded that. After getting all these quotes from companies and having various companies look over my current equipment, I only had two companies (Wirenut being one of them) point out things that could be improved on with my current setup without changing it out. Only a few companies told me I would need an additional air intake for example. Wirenut told me about the gaps in my duct system that could be sealed up to help with the system. Because of this knowledge you gave me, I was looking to see if Wirenut would do something like that because only one other company even pointed it out so it was doubtful that most if any would go the extra mile and seal the duct connections up. Julian and the other guy went that extra mile and sealed the duct which was a great surprise because it was something I hoped would be done but not something I expected to get done unless an installer went that extra mile. Not only that but Julian installed a GFI plug for the humidifier that he did not have to do. It was something we both missed because I told Julian that I was going to unplugging the humidifier when the inspector came but that was before we talked about connecting the humidifier to the system. With it being connected to the system it sounded like the inspector would have to inspect that as well. I told Julian I would talk to the electrician coming out to put in the AC connection to see about getting a GFI outlet installed close enough to the humidifier. Without me knowing he did this work himself and that was a blessing and something I did not except. read more

Hello, I'm in the grueling process of replacing my furnace and AC units. Since I've used WireNut in the past for electrical work, my first call for an estimate was to WireNut. Caleb (Adam) Campos was the estimator that came out, and I received both a text with his photo and bio, and a courtesy call from him when was 1/2 hour from arriving at my home. Adam was courteous from the get go. He immediately confirmed what I was looking for and provided an amazing overview of the various products, upcoming state regulations regarding this type of service, and how WireNut backs their service. He also inspected my current unit and pointed out to me various areas of my furnace that are clearly deteriorating. I knew it was close to "done", but it really helped to visually see where it's actually deteriorating. Charles Dozeman and Aaron Waits recently performed an annual inspection of our furnace, air conditioner, and water heater. Their courtesy call came just inside the designated appointment window, and they performed an extremely thorough and comprehensive examination of our appliances. They left the furnace interior open as they explained some issues they were seeing so I could see first-hand the problems that needed to be fixed, and they took the time to answer my questions and educate me about various factors that affect the reliability, safety, and longevity of my heating and cooling systems. They then grouped repairs into three categories (repairs required immediately to ensure safe operation, recommended repairs that should be considered in the next year, and nice-to-have improvements for convenience and better air quality in our home), which gave us some options and allowed us to plan and budget for future maintenance needs. Picked Wirenut to replace an aging and overcrowded circuit breaker panel with a new, bigger, better panel with room for backup generator capability and extra slots to finally finish our basement. The crew Wirenut sent to do the work, Joshua and Mick, were fantastic, completely professional and expert at their craft. It was like they were doing open heart surgery on my house! They told me upfront how long it would take to finish and how long the power would be off. Wirenut took care of everything including permits and scheduling the State Electrical Inspector. I would recommend Wire Nut to anyone who has problems with electricity. You see, I'm kind of an old soul when it comes to electricity...I'm a big AC fan, much better than DC. Also, I'm pro-death sentence, and we should certainly bring back the electric chair. Haven't you seen "The Green Mile"? The best part of the movie was the electric chair part. When dealing with light switches and light fixtures...red, green, blue wires...The Wire Nut is the best with the wires and the electricities. The guy that came out to see me was very handsome, that doesn't really matter, but the man had quite the jawline. My furnace stopped working during the recent arctic winter event. I called Wire Nut immediately. A technician, Joseph, arrived within 2 hours. He was very thorough in his inspection and quickly discovered the problems. He pointed out and explained all the issues to me and answered all my questions in detail. He offered me 3 options to have heat that day, with a couple of discounts and easy financing available as well. I decided to go with a new furnace, to be installed the same day. The installation team, Jessie and Tyler, arrived promptly. They encountered issues during installation, not of their doing, but worked tirelessly to overcome them. Honestly if there was a way to add more stars I would. My A/C broke and it was 90+ in my house for weeks. I scheduled an appointment online for a week out. Next day they called me and said they had an opening for the next day! Charles Dozeman came out that morning and was as professional as I believe it's possible to be. I recently, and unexpectedly, discovered that I needed an entire new HVAC system. Charles did the initial inspection and was very thorough and competent in showing and explaining all of the issues. The entire job required several visits and I cannot say enough good things about all of the crew! Joseph, the Quality Control man, the technicians Jeremy, Scott, John 4, Brian, and the electrician Sully were all very professional, personable, polite, respectful of me and my home, and highly trained and competent. They all had great attitudes and worked very well as a team. I was always notified when they were on their way to my home, and was kept updated on the progress and plans for completion. Michael Velazque came to our home and cleaned up a horrible mess. Our job took a total of 4 days to complete and every minute of those 4 days, Michael was cheerful, competent and such a hard worker in very HOT weather and less than perfect conditions. He explained everything he needed to do and made sure we understood what was happening and why it was necessary. We were especially impressed with his patience and insistence on making sure the job was done correctly and every detail was perfect. We could not have asked for a better technician and now feel safe in our home. At first, Michael was a bit leery of our dogs, especially our large American Staffordshire, but by the time he was finished with our job, they were buddies! We liked that. So this morning I woke up to a cold house and I called wire nut to get assistance. I received a callback from Alex and he said he had to stop and fuel up the work van then he would be in route. He asked me if I would like a hot coffee or was there anything else he could bring me because he knew I was cold with no heat. That's when I realized I picked the right company to help me. We thought it was the igniter and discovered it was the circuit board instead which was way more expensive. They managed to give me some discounts and paid a fair price for the new circuit board. I will definitely use them again. Just to clear it up I also live in a mobile home so makes it even harder to figure it out but Alex didn't give up and we got it fixed.
