If I could give them ZERO stars I would. Not only did Yas from this location know exactly what I needed but he sold me 2 items that came to a total of over $700 KNOWING they would not work for what I needed them for. He then claimed that I didn't tell him what I needed them for, lying makes every situation worst. The worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Not even 15 hours later when I discovered that they don't work for what I needed, I called right away and was told I would get a call back but didn't. Then I showed up and they tried to refuse me returning them. Then ones I got upset they said they would allow me to return them for a stocking fee of 25% of $711. What an absolute SCAM. I don't like to give negative reviews because I believe that reviews should be both constructive for the business and informative for potential customers, and I don't believe that one bad experience should condemn any local business. That being said, my experience at Wireless Revolution was less than pleasant. I was torn between a 2 and 3 star, so I'll share my reasons for both. Why I wanted to give a 2 star: Customer service is truly lacking. I understand it is a service centre and they have many tickets open at once, but courtesy calls, updates and follow ups should be done if you will have my phone for a month. If I didn't continually follow up, I never would have known what was new or changing in terms of repair progress (or lack there of). Rather than following up even after I made the request over the phone and in person, I got excuses every time. After a month and no solution I ended up picking up the phone, unfixed. Why I gave it 3 stars: Even though I picked up my phone without any repairs being done, according to what I was told it seems that they tried to be diligent with diagnosing the problem. The manager, Nick, took over my file and did try to rectify the situation by waiving the diagnostic fee after no repairs were completed. I can't speak to their technical abilities, but whenever I called to ask for an update I was at least able to get through to someone, and they were mostly able to explain the process. In summary, I would say that if you have time and patience to do the leg work for follow ups, they are worth at least looking into as their prices seem reasonable. If customer service is a priority to you, however, I would take that into consideration. read more

I wanted to share my experience it was the opposite of most of the reviews. I found this store's website and loved how it allowed me to get an exact quote to know how much that I would pay. I called to confirm that they had the battery that I needed since it was an older phone. They did not have it in stock, but could order it for a deposit. The employee was super nice and helpful, we did the deposit payment over PayPal and he said that it would be a couple of days before they would get it. A couple of days passed, and i didn't hear anything, so I googled them and came across this reviews page. I immediately got nervous that I had already paid them money and was about to get jerked around. I called asking if my battery was in, but it wasn't yet (very friendly phone service). Later that day they both called and emailed letting me know the battery was in. A couple of days later, I called to see if I could get the replacement done, they said mostly likely, so I went in and got the battery replaced within an hour. I think that the person that I dealt with mostly was named Nassim (or maybe that's an account they all use), but he was not the manager, he was awesome and didn't push any upsells that weren't needed. The manager was nice, but seemed eager to push me to get the back of my phone replaced, while i did not want to spend the extra money if I could avoid it. In the end I was able to get the battery replaced, but not replace the back of my phone. I was quite happy with their customer service and the battery is great so far. I will update this review if the battery dies under warranty. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. FAKE OEM PART"S, BAD SERVICE, MADE MY PHONE 3 DIFFERENT COLOURS AND BROKE MY FINGER SENSOR. Tried replacing the screen 3 times and still screwed it up. Then they say they will give me a case and glass protector for the inconvenience. Oh but they also wanted to charge me for the case and screen protector. Anyone need any more proof I have lots. Also Recorded conversations of them promising things and not following through. Brought Samsung Phone to UBreakiFix (Go there instead) Same price better work!! Saturday, December 16th at 11:39am Client brought Galaxy S8 Plus Violet to Wireless Rev repair shop. Phone has non- genuine Samsung parts installed. Non-genuine parts included: Front LCD/Screen assembly and back fingerprint sensor. Parts were not installed properly. Device is not waterproof. Fingerprint sensor is also non-functional. read more

I sent my Oneplus One in for repair for a cracked screen. When it came back, there was a few cracks on the lens of the forward-facing camera, light bleeding from the bottom of the screen, and some light spots on the screen itself. They accepted to take it back for repair, and while most of the issues from the first repair were fixed (except a little bit of light bleed at the bottom of the screen), they managed to create a new issue - there are cracks and warps throughout the edge of the glass for the screen. There doesn't appear to be a functional impairment, but it really looks like hell. And so far they haven't taken any responsibility for this issue, saying it was just caused by it being repaired so many times. So if you care about maintaining aesthetics or resale value, I would not recommend these guys. read more

Through my own stupid mistake I managed to get a piece of a lightning cable stuck in my charge port. I called and emailed several repair shops for a quote and Wireless Revolution was the cheapest and fastest option. They were able to remove the offending piece without having to replace the whole charge port in about 2 hours. My only caveat is that I have just had it repaired so no idea re: longevity of repair but so far, so good! read more

*** DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE *** I don't even know where to begin on how bad they are. If I could give it no stars I would, most of the employees i dealt with were rude and had a serious attitude. They give you a ticket when you walk in with your phone with code and don't tell you to make sure you keep it, so When my phone was ready I accidentally miss placed it but I knew the code and they were refusing to give me my phone back with an attitude even though I could tell them information about me that I gave them before they took my phone and Im a paying customer. It took them three months to fix my phone and in that three months I got no updates at all unless I called and most of the time they would tell me they would call back in 15 minutes or by the end of the day and not once did they call back. When I got my phone back the problem i brought it in for was fixed but another part was broken and the whole back of my phone was scratched and dinged up, not to mention when I was in there i overheard three other customers complaining about phones they bought from them were over heating, not working after they got worked on and paid for and breaking down. read more

I used this company to repair a broken home button for my iPhone. They were fast, repairing the phone within 1 hour. They were also cheaper than most services in Ottawa ($50). It was effective, with a 3-month guarantee. I would recommend this store as a phone-repair service. They also sell mobile phones and some electronics, as a registered Bell retailer. read more

Poor quality repairs matched by even worse customer service. Absolutely terrible company. Soon after a repair was done the screen began to peel off of the body of the phone! I visit the store. There is a greasy paper sign on the door that says they are away for 15 minutes. I call the number but there is no answer. 25 minutes later, myself and a second person who had arrived are let in (I don't know what the other person's issue was but he didn't look pleased either). Then the real problems begin. I did not keep my receipt so they shrug and say good day. Any half-decent institution would see the quality of the repair and stand by their work--especially given they have a log for repairs that would have my name, phone number, amount paid, and type of phone. Had a really bad experience recently. Took in my HTC which had frozen on the startup screen. There was absolutely no communication, professionalism or accountability. I had to constantly call to ask what was going on and if a diagnosis or estimate for time/cost was available. I was told over and over: "oh we are going to try this or that tonight and we will call you in the morning". I'd wait a couple days, call again, and get told the same thing. It took them over a week just to try step one, which was re-installing the software, something I could do on my own in a very small amount of time. In the end, they had my phone for over three months!! Again, I had to be the one to call and basically say I wanted my phone back. They told me they had already completed their work, couldn't figure out what was wrong and I could pick it up anytime. I have no idea how long my phone was just sitting there....waiting for someone to call me. I picked up my phone, paid the flat rate for diagnosis, and I am taking it to another shop for a second opinion. I really don't trust them at all! read more

I got my phone screen on my Galaxy S7 replaced in September 2018. The top and bottom layer of the screen were both broken so I got both layers replaced. Because of the cost of the repairs (200+), I invested in an Otter box and a good screen protector. I became extra cautious with how I used my phone. Barely three months later, despite my efforts, the pixels in my phone exploded to the point where I could barely see my screen. My only explanation is that they installed the screen poorly as I was so cautious with my phone, and this damage appeared out of no where. One minute it was fine, the next there were purple splatters where pixels started leaking. I took my phone back to Wireless Revolution to get a quote. They said the damage would not be covered under the warranty, they would charge me another $200+, and whats worse, when I went to pick up my phone after the diagnosis, the damage was even worse! I will not be getting my phone repaired at wireless revolution again! read more

I justed got back from the store... I am very dissatisfied with the service, and with the price. The guy quoted an hour for the phone to be fixed, I got back after an hour and he was standing outside, he ran back in and i waited (standing up) for 30 minutes while he actually went and fixed the phone. We agreed on one price through email and on the phone, and I was charged 40$ extra AFTER the phone was fixed , citing misunderstanding ???!!!! I ended up paying more than what i'd have paid in any other cellphone repair store in the city. Their reply to my dissatisfaction email, "Each business has the right to price their products and services at pricing they find reasonable." Avoid this store. ! Update: I just got the screen checked , and around the edges on the right side and the top there are few scratch marks and two little nicks on the phone. I have no idea what tools the guy was using to install the new screen, but now i understand why when he ran out the first thing he said :install the cover right away so you dont' drop it... This place is not a business, it is a scam. They charged my friend for a procedure on a phone that is not physically possible and made her pay for it! She went to apple and they wrote a report about how they literally squished her phone in trying to "fix a bent frame" and damaged the battery and "fixing a bent frame" is literally not possible. Apple was very informative and told my friend and I that they themselves cannot fix bent frames because again, not possible and they have to give people LITERALLY brand new phones, It is literal fraud and they are making people pay for it which is absolutely crazy! When she went in to get compensation and to ask one of the employees how they did the procedure, they firstly, gave her a hard time about even talking to the manager, refusing to give his name or the time he's working and secondly, refused to let her speak to the technician to ask how they "fixed her bent frame". I would suggest at all costs avoiding this place. Not only that but the only reason she went in the first place was to fix her cracked screen which they replaced for her BUT, OF COURSE, there's an issue with it and it was popping off at the bottom of her phone! They later then told her they didn't install it properly because her frame was bent, but don't you think that was something to mention before? And again, it's not possible to fix a bent frame, so please someone tell me why they even charged her for this?! Whatever you do, do not go there, it is a waste of your money, time, and resources. read more

I dealt with wireless rev at the end of September and they were very helpful in getting me a new battery for my phone. However, they gave me a dud battery that dies at 20% and when I contacted them for a new one they said they would order it. It's November 2nd now and i still don't have a new battery and every time I call they say they're still waiting for it and that they will call me when it is in. It does not take a month and a half to order a new battery. They got money for the first battery I bought and I think that's all they care about. Will never deal with them again. read more
