This is our second year living here. Honestly, the first year was fine and we really had no…read morecomplaints. But year two has been a completely different experience. The biggest ongoing issue has been ants coming out of multiple wall outlets and sockets in our apartment. When I first reported it to the office, they told us they were fruit flies, which made no sense. They eventually sent an exterminator out, and he confirmed they were definitely ants. He explained that the ants were actually inside the walls of the building and gave a long explanation about returning to treat the larger building issue. That was months ago, and we have never seen him again. The ants are still here, so at this point we've just bought our own supply of Raid and stopped bothering with work orders and we do not wish for them to send anyone back. We also had issues with the "smart" smoke detectors they installed. They would go off at random times, extremely loudly, during the day and in the middle of the night while we were asleep. They eventually replaced ours with the older version, which fixed our issue, but our next-door neighbor apparently still has the smart ones. Because the walls are thin, when hers randomly goes off, it's loud enough to wake us up. For a place advertised as a gated community, the gates seem to be broken more often than they actually work. On top of that, the garage entry door to our building--which is supposed to require a key card--has been broken for months. I reported it and was told they were waiting on a part from a vendor. Four months later, it still hasn't been repaired, which means anyone can access the building through that entrance without a key card. Considering how astronomical the rent is, these issues are really disappointing. We're definitely counting down the months until our current lease is up so we can move on.

After check in I was greeted with a letter welcoming me there and it felt great knowing they care that much about customer service. The units have everything you need in an ideal location in Davis Islands close to bars and restaurants and the water. I can honestly say that Dan went way above from a customer service perspective the entire time I was there. Any time I asked him if anything he would address it right away. His company stands above every corporate housing company I have ever used for one reason...him. The guy goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable the entire time. Dan was very responsive to any questions we had and we are glad we found the Island Suites to check out the Tampa area!

I began my apartment search several months ago, and I toured four properties in the Tampa area…read more Lenox at Bloomingdale stood out to me because of the spacious and reasonably priced floor plans, luxury amenities, desirable location, and friendly staff! Throughout the leasing process I had the pleasure of working with Danny, Ashley, and Jade. They all gave wonderful service, and sent a clear message that they love their job! Danny was my primary leasing specialist and I cannot say enough about his professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness. He is so genuine! The process was smooth and seamless, and I am so grateful to have found this place. Feels like home! I love the lake views and amazing walk in closet! All of the interiors are top notch. I had a minor maintenance request my first few days, and they responded and resolved my issue within two hours. That kind of thing is very important to me. Five stars all around!

I honestly don't even know where to begin, but after years of living at this property, I feel it's…read moreonly right to share my experience and hopefully save someone else the unnecessary stress. I've watched this property decline tremendously in management, communication, and overall upkeep. The constant turnover in office staff and management speaks for itself. Previous management may not have been the friendliest, but at least they seemed competent. I can't say the same for the current management. My recent apartment transfer was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I started the process in JUNE with the previous property manager, with an understanding that I could transfer when a more suitable apartment became available. Instead, I dealt with months of poor communication, unnecessary delays, and misleading information. It took nearly TWO WEEKS to get an answer about securing a rental rate, only to be told the delay was because people take time off and there was a holiday (Labor Day, ONE Monday). This was happening TWO DAYS before I had to move! To make matters worse, the exact apartment I wanted was relisted at the SAME RATE I requested on the day I picked up my new keys. When questioned, the current manager, Danielle, told me someone had applied and wasn't approved. When I pointed out that I had documentation showing the apartment was under MY name, she backtracked and admitted I was right. The regional manager, Kay White, was no better. I was told I couldn't receive the previous rate because the special had ended and apparently "the computer" determines pricing. She also casually dismissed the price difference as "only $87 more." That's $1,044 over a 12-month lease! How incredibly tone-deaf to minimize someone else's money, especially when your own management team's handling of the situation created the problem. As if that wasn't enough, I was hit with approximately $494 in move-out charges without a proper walkthrough or clear explanation. This included charges involving repainting and even $50 for shower hooks that were there BEFORE I moved in! This property doesn't conduct walkthroughs with residents, yet has no problem charging them afterward. Thankfully, I document my apartments with photos and videos. For the rent being charged, the condition of these apartments is also unacceptable. Deteriorating appliances, rusted hardware, and unresolved maintenance issues. I've submitted requests for a broken AC unit and leaking refrigerator less than a month in this new unit. The grounds are poorly maintained, and the trash situation is disgusting. I spent nearly a YEAR dealing with inconsistent valet trash pickup, a service residents PAY for. Yet management has time to threaten towing vehicles to accommodate overflowing garbage areas instead of addressing the actual problem. What bothers me most is the complete lack of accountability. I've had my concerns dismissed, my words twisted, and unnecessary stress added to what should have been a straightforward process. Because of the unnecessary delays and pressure to make a decision just TWO DAYS before my move-out date, I'm now stuck in a unit I'm unhappy with, all because of management's poor handling of a process that should have been simple from the beginning. I've referred TWO people to this property over the years, but I will NEVER recommend it again. What was once a tolerable place to live has become a constant source of frustration. I wouldn't recommend this place even if it was somebody's last option. For what residents pay, basic honesty, professionalism, proper maintenance there are so many better and newer options within the area.

Enclave at Tranquility Lake - This is not my stuff. These people tried to get their stuff, the complex wouldn't allow them! You dont treat people like trash!

My husband and I were genuinely excited to call this community home after touring the property, but…read moreunfortunately our leasing experience was incredibly disappointing. We applied on the date we were instructed to in order to receive the advertised 6 weeks free special at the quoted rent. When we tried to submit our application, the online payment system would not process our payment. This happened after office hours, so we called first thing the next business day. By then, the rent had already increased. We were told someone would check with the regional manager and call us back, but we never received a callback despite multiple emails and follow-ups. When I later met with the property manager, Sarah, she informed us that the apartment we originally tried to lease had already been rented--something no one had communicated to us. She confirmed that our application information had been entered into the system on the original date and apologized, but the only available units were about $100 more per month. Because we were on a timeline with our current lease ending and loved the community, we were still willing to move forward, expecting the original promotion to be honored since our attempted application was documented. Instead, we were told we would only receive a $750 concession. After finally reaching the regional manager, despite multiple unanswered voicemails, he refused to honor the advertised special because we didn't call until the following day--even though the office was closed when the payment issue occurred and the system clearly showed we attempted to apply on time. There was no accountability for the technical issue or the lack of communication throughout the process. Communication continued to be poor. We had to follow up again just to receive our lease documents after being approved, and when they finally arrived, they included additional fees that had never been discussed. The promised $750 concession also wasn't reflected in the lease. After paying nearly $400 in application fees, we ultimately decided we could no longer move forward. The lack of communication, failure to honor the advertised promotion despite documented evidence, and overall customer service left us with little confidence in the leasing process. The property itself is beautiful, but management's handling of our experience was extremely disappointing. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, transparency, and customer service for future residents.
