AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Had my safety jeopardized by Lily in the front office - who told a random caller I lived there without validating if they were even my emergency contact, and that information (about me physically / my car being located there) would not even be allowed to be released to an emergency contact. She says she never did that of course and "I can try anything" (like sorry I didn't record my every conversation with you) after directly telling me "this person called and I did tell them you were here...but didn't tell them they could have your security deposit because they're not on your lease" (like wow applause) to my face. Then, Julio (a manager?) said they could share my following address (next living space) with practically anyone who calls as a means to defend his idiotic staff I guess then spoke down to me about them not being subject to any Hippa-like documentation when they absolutely are (if you bring up them having a duty to protect their residents information they'll start telling you the definition of Hippa after they pause and search it on ChatGPT and how it only applies to medical like they're geniuses) absolutely bizarre. Julio said "we could even tell an emergency contact your next address per their request" - which is illegal as my whereabouts and next address can only be given to an EC upon MY SPECIFIC APPROVAL. None of them have any idea what's going on, they're puppets of hedge fund bros who sit in the front doing nothing except charging you $75 for trash bags that weren't yours based on them looking like the kind of trash bags you use. I also don't need a response from Millennium because they just lie to your face to cover their asses after acting pompous about spreading misinformation originally. there's a manager in the office who says you might not get any of your security deposit back even if your apartment was unscathed completely ? Checks out - only good service is maintenance - they knock before entering and you don't have to worry about them murdering you in the night which is rare of course. I've lived in this community for 6 years. The location is perfect being close to Tampa International airport, 589, and 275. Lots of restaurants and shops within a walking distance and a local beach. Lots of amenities and the dog park is beautiful. It's a shame that safety is last priority. I don't feel safe in this building. The front office is the worst part of living here. This is one of the worst places ever! They never disclosed it is a smoking property! When our neighbors were smoking constantly on the balcony and it was coming in our master bedroom is when we found out! Of course it was too late. So we moved into the second bedroom to stay away from the smoke. I have COPD and my husband has cancer so being around the smoke is not ideal for either of us! We wait out the 15 months, my husband is now in stage 5 kidney failure due to the cancer treatments. I asked for 1 additional month and they wanted me to either sign another 15 month lease or pay $4100+ for one month!!! Due to my husband's medical conditions he was not able to work so I told them I would have to leave. A close friend had us move with him because if not we would have been homeless. We paid $2800 deposit 15 months ago and they refused to give it back saying we didn't give them the notification 60 days before. My husband's kidney failure was not expected and he was not able to continue working. My checks could not cover the crazy amount of rent. I have tried to contact corporate 6 times in 2 weeks and no one will respond back. When we were moving out they shut the elevator down with a mover and my stuff in it. He was stuck for over an hour! They let him out finally but wouldn't let him get my things out. The nasty office girl, told him I was pulling some shady crap moving out.. mind u I did tell the office just not her and it was at a 11am in the morning. I definitely would stay clear of this place! So many other things happened during our time there but it's way too much to write! I am contacting a lawyer and the tv station to get answers and hopefully our large deposit back! I lived there for 6 years, loved it for the convenience of its location but couldn't take the construction for the past 3 years. Started with the balcony project now the garage project, pool was redone as well. Felt like it was never ending. My apartment was facing north so I never got a lot of sunlight, the apartment itself has dark finishes in dark gray floors, dark brown accents on doors and baseboards, black granite countertops. Very masculine. Lighting is sparse/dim and the track lighting burns out so quickly. The community is very dog friendly, not a great place if your dog doesn't get along with dogs but amazing if your dog loves other dogs. They have a huge dog park too. Pool is great, gym is also great. Surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy depending where you walk. There is an extended stay motel across the street that had many interesting characters over the years. There is also a school on the other side. Rent is decent compared to other places, I started paying rent in 2017 at 1400 and by the time I left in 2023 it was up to 1900. Not terrible compared to other places in Tampa. Getting packages was a nightmare, they use a locked storage room with all the packages laying out. They've had a couple break ins over the years. I missed their old system of having them stowed away in the leasing office and getting a notification when something was delivered. Staff is pleasant, maintenance is also excellent. Parking was also a nightmare. Never ending garage and most of the time I was stuck parking on the roof. Also invest in a wagon to get your groceries in bc depending where your apt is you might be hiking a mile. read more

Terrible excuse of a luxury apartment complex they will find any reason to make your life more difficult when life circumstances are tough enough. Not to mention the parking sticker they give you is worthless, because the towing company they're contracted with will tow you either way with no remorse, just for something as simple as a recently expired sticker. Since when did a leasing company suddenly care more than the police? It's actually ironic though because my room mates car was broken into inside the parking garage here, and the management said they didn't have camera footage of the scene. Seriously?? All the money they make and claim to be a luxury apartment, yet they can't seem to afford to protect their tenants from thieves A word of advice, switch tow companies to one that doesn't pray on tenants that are just trying to make enough to pay overpriced rent, and install cameras in the garage so when others get their car vandalized they can count on you for help, instead of worrying if their car has an up to date registration. That's the cops jobs not yours. after all, they're paying you thousands of dollars a month to live in a building with dog crap and red duck tape in the halls. read more

Applied for this apartment yesterday and I can't say enough great things about it... Liz and everyone at the office were so personable. I could really tell they cared about us rather than just trying to get us to sign immediately. The apartments are SO homey, we ended up going with a 700 sqft 1b/1b but the layout is extremely well done to the point where it's the perfect amount of space for my husband and I and our pup. Speaking of pups, THE DOG PARK IS AMAZING. Definitely the best hangout spot in the complex. Pool is huge, which is a perk. Nice, modern furniture around and even a fire pit. My only complaint is there are no pool tables or even a game room :( My husband and I LOVE to play, so maybe in the near future this would be a cool addition *hint hint*. But that didn't steer us away. Oh, and of course, I have to mention what a bad a** gym you have... rower, smith machine, TWO tanning beds, it's exceptional for an apartment gym. Really clean as well and 24/7. January can't come fast enough! I can't WAIT to move in. read more

The website states, "The Millennium Westshore represents the best in Tampa luxury apartment living..." If this is the best Tampa has to offer, we are all in a lot of trouble. From trash piling up at the chute and an endless garage repair project that often makes driving unsafe, the complex hasn't much to offer beyond great location. It's noisy, both people and pets. There is little communication about major projects in areas of the complex that might actually cause issues during the day. Packages get stolen from the mailroom and the staff does not show any real concern other than to remind you that they are not responsible. But, rest assured you will be reminded weekly about the food truck and yoga at the pool. Now, if you are a fan of fire alarms going off randomly and continuously, whether there is an emergency or not, then this is your new home. Seriously, if I could give this place a negative review, I would. One star is being gracious with how loathsome my experience has been and I have already marked the day I will give my notice to leave. read more

Currently a resident paying $3,000 to break my lease after a leak in my apartment. They refused to change the carpet after the leak, despite concerns of mold. If I wanted the carpet replaced, I would need to replace it. I did a home mold test, which came back positive as the carpet still smells musty and gets damp from time to time after rain. I was told the mold test wasn't accurate, and they did moisture readings. Even though mold spores can still live without high moisture. Essentially now they want to have maintenance come in every time it rains rather than sending professionals to fix it....how convenient! Also how nice to live in a potentially moldy apartment during COVID-19! I had packages stolen from the mail room which they refused to look at the footage because they were too "short staffed" The pool is closed on Sunday, and you still pay for amenities you can't use fully. The neighborhood is sketchy. 0/10 would recommend to a friend. read more

Unfortunately living out of state doesn't make it easy when apartment hunting. Hopefully I can help other people avoid the costly mistake I made. After speaking to Celeste on the phone several times (She was very helpful) I decided to put a deposit down on a unit at Millennium Westshore without seeing it. Big mistake. When I first visited the apartment I was put off by Liz (Celeste was off that day). Liz is one of the leasing representatives. Liz didn't seem to be to happy about working that day. (Keep in mind these are the people you'll be speaking to all the time.) Liz and I had a short and uncomfortable conversation about why I was there. Liz gave me a rushed tour of the grounds and every time I asked about an amenity she seemed a bit irritated that I asked. But she was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The Millennium Westshore grounds are not maintained very well, especially around the pool area. In the apartments, the paint scheme in person is pretty ugly and feels very dated. The online photos are very misleading. Be careful because some units have outdated appliances. Apparently they used cheap builder grade appliances when it was built. Electric stoves with removable burners. Yeah... for around $1400 a month who wouldn't expect nice appliances. The outdated appliances isn't something I new about until I toured Millennium Westshore and unfortunately already had a deposit down. I should also note that Millennium Westshore lacks in amenities compared to other close by luxury apartment complexes. From my recent research, you'll find better square footage for your dollar at other apartment complexes that offer better amenities, better kept grounds, better maintained units, more thought out floor plans and nicer employees. Personally from my experience, I can't recommend Millennium Westshore. read more

I've looked at other locations in downtown Tampa and the Westshore area and  as far as price and location, I like it here the best! They have the best amenities and everything you could possibly need right in one place. The professionalism of the staff in the leasing office and the efficiency of the maintenance team is top notch. It's also centrally located to the airport, right next to the International Mall, a few exits from downtown or the Hyde Park area and only 45 minutes from the world's best beaches. You can't beat it! Living the Florida lifestyle right here in our back yard. read more

Writing this on August 14th, 2020. Most amenities still closed, despite website claims, except for pool which is closed on Sunday since office is also closed. No in unit maintenance other than emergencies at this time. No gym even though other communities in area have theirs open (some 24hrs.), no business center, no movie room, and no clubhouse/coffee shop. Still charging FULL RENT despite this multi month closure. Car I'm not usually a complainer (this is 1st yelp review ever) but we pay a lot to live here and its definitely not worth the money without these advertised amenities. The staff, however, is amazing. Friendly, helpful and caring. Laurie, Liz and all of the maintenance staff have done a superb job in keeping everything that is open clean and safe. Lincoln property group and the mysterious building owner, on the other hand, states they are concerned about the safety of its residents but is truly focused on profits and preventing litigation over resident satisfaction. read more

Gorgeous, well-kept, clean property with an AMAZING office staff! Samantha is an absolute delight!! She took her time with all of my questions and really cares about making sure you are absolutely happy with your decision before signing. She even called me to update me on available apartments when I was looking! On my tour, I was so surprised that the residents stopped and complimented the property on how much they loved living here. That's huge, and I've never had that happen at any other place. I toured every luxury apartment complex in the area and in my opinion, Millennium crushes the competition. From the resort pool, gym, dog park, tanning bed, covered parking garage, and amazing staff--Millennium Westshore is the best place to be in the business district!!! read more

*** Update: 07-30-2014: I bumped this up from 3-stars to 4-stars. Why? Last weekend the A/C unit in our apartment went out. I submitted a request online for its repair. It was fixed by lunch time the following day (Sunday). Management at the front office told me that they would have had it fixed on Saturday evening if I had called the emergency number. I didn't even know I could do that! At the last place I lived (The Quarter @Ybor), it took them the better part of a month to fix my broken refrigerator. This kind of quick attention to maintenance deserves an extra star! *** This is a great place to live, except for a few issues. First, let me say that generally the neighbors are great. Unlike other apartment communities that are crawling with college students, most residents here are actual adults. This means that you can typically get a decent night's sleep any night of the week, which is great for us since working weekends is a common thing. Second, the units and the building in general are well maintained. If you have a problem then it is addressed within 24hours, with rare exception. Finally, the office staff is friendly and courteous. They greet you by your first name and they are usually happy to help with whatever you need. Now for the negatives (there are only a few)... Trash pickup sometimes comes late and, on occasion, not at all. This was acceptable when there were trash storage bins outside the units. But when you have to haul out and haul in your trash bin at night and in the morning and find somewhere to store it in these modern, but storage lacking, units, it's a real pain in the butt. Guest parking bleeds into resident parking sometimes. This used to be a much bigger problem than it is now. About a year ago management started towing cars periodically and that has alleviated the issue, but it has not completely resolved it. I don't know why they don't just have assigned parking spots, so at least residents will always have a place to park within proximity to their units. Grounds and maintenance staff are less than friendly and courteous. Everyone who has come to fix issues on the inside of my unit has been very helpful and friendly. However, grounds workers, painters, carpet installers, etc. can be downright nasty, rude and disgusting. I've had carpet installers literally stand in front of my unit smoking cigarettes (smoking is not allowed in the halls). I've seen painters leave garbage all over the place. And then there are the grounds workers who will literally stand in the middle of the parking garage, forcing you to drive around them and then they will bark at you for doing so. Granted, this is not the most expensive luxury apartment community in Tampa. But it certainly isn't cheap. And if we pay for nothing else, we should expect courteous service from grounds and maintenance staff, parking close to our units, and trash pickup that isn't a chore. However, if you can deal with these (relatively minor, but annoying) gripes then the units are nice and clean, the neighbors are great and the office staff couldn't be better - which, I think is more than you get in most apartment communities. read more

My wife and I really enjoyed life at Millennium Westshore. We stayed there for about three years, before moving into a home, and I still kind of miss it. The pool parties, poker nights, watching the hockey playoffs in the theater room.... those were good times! The apartment itself was nice too. Very modern look, nice appliances, plenty of cabinet space, a spacious balcony... and the cost was less than most other complexes in the area. Our rent was around $1500 for a 2b/2b, and didn't change much at the end of the year for renewal. Management there is awesome! Catherine, Dustin, Vinnie, Laurie and Amy are a great team. They take a lot of pride in taking care of the complex, because many of them live there themselves. They constantly schedule fun events like NFL tailgates, pool-side Super Bowl viewing parties, cooking classes, and numerous charitable drives. In addition, they constantly pump money back into the complex for upgrades like re-flooring public areas. During our stay, there were a handful of maintenance issues, which you will likely encounter at any apartment complex. But we were always treated professionally, and things were handled quickly. We didn't usually want anyone to come in to our apartment when we weren't home, so Eric was great about coordinating any maintenance visits to coincide with my schedule. Thanks again! When it came time to move out, management understood our situation and helped make it a smooth transition. The best thing I can say, management here is more worried about ensuring the happiness of their residents than the bottom line. We were VERY happy with our time at Millennium Westshore, and hope they are people's first stop when looking for a new home in the Westshore district. read more

I moved here just about a month ago and love it. I had visited about 5 other apartment buildings in the area and they never seemed to WOW me like The Millennium did. The office staff has been nothing but super friendly any time I have been in to ask a question. Two thumbs up for Vinnie. The maintenance staff all all very friendly as well when you pass them in the hallways. Love, love, love the gym! I spend many early mornings in there and appreciate the nice cardio and weight equipment and it isn't over crowded. By far, this has been my best apartment living experience b/c in many ways, it doesn't have that typical apartment feel to it. My unit is lovely ...2/2, with a killer master bathroom. The garden tub is a plus. Very spacious throughout. I have a first floor unit and really love the polished, concrete floors and the exposes duct work and cool lighting features. Definitely doesn't have an apartment feel but more like a loft. The location is perfect. I'm 2 miles from work, 1 mile from Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, the airport, and 20 minutes away from several beaches in the area. I would highly recommend The Millennium to anyone. read more

My roommate/boyfriend and I have lived at Millennium for one year now. Pros: It still amazes us how much the complex does for the residents. There are cooking classes, random free appreciation brunchs, discounted tickets to Bucs games, and parties for big events such as the Super Bowl and the Stanley Cup. All of which they provide food and other giveaways. They are constantly improving the complex and address resident issues in a timely manner. I have never seen a bug inside of my apartment. Vinny is the best. Knows my boyfriend and I by name and apartment number and always follows up on any concerns. It is less expensive than many of the apartments surrounding the area and it has a porch/balcony unlike some of the other complexes Cons: If you live on the 1st or 2nd floor parking on your floor can be difficult after 8 PM You have to pay to rent the theatre room on weekends which is the only day I would actually use it Overall unless having a free theatre room and walking a few extra steps are a deal breaker, I highly recommend Millenium. read more

The living conditions are great, the staff is friendly and its near everything. The only part that brings this place down to 3 stars is the gates, these gates are useless and a nuisance. Just get rid of the gates or make it so we can open the main entrance gates from our apartments. Id like for my deliveries to come to my door with no issues. I can't tell you how many times I've missed a delivery cause the driver couldn't park so that being said how about you make some delivery parking spots, your garage is just outdated. Also the elevator is constantly broken, what's the deal?? Consider this if you are thinking of moving to the millennium cause they most likely will not mention it. read more

I agree with what many of the previous comments in terms of the amenities, the quality of the maintenance/office staff, and the layouts of the units. In regards to those three things the Millennium is a very nice place to live. Additionally, they offer cooking classes, fitness classes, Sunday brunches, and many other extras that are done solely for the enjoyment of the residents. The reason I won't be back is more due to a quality of the construction (the walls are paper thin) and the amount of noisy activities that make your home there anything but peaceful or quiet. Mondays and Tuesdays the lawn crew is out before 8:00 am mowing, trimming, edging, or whatever else requires loud machines. There is no need to set an alarm clock on those days. If you are considering renting a unit facing either the entry courtyard or the pool be ready to hear people and noise at most hours. They have food trucks come sell food one night per week (and that is a nice idea) but if you live in the courtyard you will hear a generator running for approximately 4 hours every Tuesday evening. It seems the only times the complex is quiet are those hours when I am at work. The mandatory trash valet has proven to be more trouble than its worth. Many nights my trash can is skipped and now the office has taken to emailing the renters trash violations (complete with a photo of the outside of your unit) if the trash is out at the wrong time or the empty can is left in the hallway for too long. It's funny to me that I am paying for this convenience. I have voiced my complaints to the management and while they are sympathetic little has been done. Catherine, the property manager, did offer me the option of terminating my lease early and I do appreciate that gesture but the pain of moving in the middle of a Florida summer means I am going to try to tough it out. I suspect the physical location of the unit you rent (its proximity to the parking garage, pool, and courtyard) plays a huge role in how much outside noise you will have to deal with so choose wisely. read more

Office General Manager is not friendly (been here a year and he has not introduced himself in the dozens of times I've been to the office to get packages nor do I know his name). BUT the other office managers are very friendly including Vinnie and both ladies. Excellent amenities including their pool and business center which offers both PC and Mac BIG screens. Spacious, modern art-deco design to the apartment (1/1). Parking is atrocious and needs to be monitored more regularly for unauthorized vehicles. Also need an option to open the parking gate for visitors without having to go downstairs. Valet trash people need to be better. Throwing my trash lid on the ground every night is unacceptable when it is on the can every night when I put it out. read more

I've been here 4 months thus far.. The place itself is well taken care of, very nice gym, TONS of amenities, pools always nice and not toooo crowded, VERY dog friendly, and never have a problem parking. If people complain of parking, it's because they're too lazy to walk(it can be a small hike to get to your apt). It can be a hassle for guests, but just have them wait until someone opens the gate.. there's always parking once you're in. Staff is extremely nice as a whole. They waive or say good morning to everyone that drives or walks by, and will really try to cater to any issues you might have. location is my lost star. I know everyone has their location, and being a soho brat, I want back! it's not terrible, as it's only 7-10 mins to get to soho area, but traffic traffic traffic because of tons of construction all around. On top of that, I never cook, so finding food in the immediate area is a little challenging. You do have winn dixie, walmart, gas station down the street though.. Finally, the apartment itself. Fairly modern, tons of space, storage galore, huge showers, mostly quiet. Only negatives would be they went really cheap on kitchen appliances, and of course with any wood frame construction, you can hear upstairs neighbors walking around, but it's not horrible noticeable.. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone. At least check it out if you're looking! read more

The staff here is top notch and if you have any concerns, they respond back immediately. Vinny and Dave are two of our favorite staff members and they really go out of their way to make sure your living situation at the Millennium is the best it can be. I really can't recommend this complex as it's extremely hard to unwind and relax due to the various disturbances you'll hear throughout the day. My apartment is right next to a few large trees, and unfortunately the birds love to start chirping around 6:00am every morning. I've been living here for about 7 months now and the birds didn't show up until around 3-4 months ago, but about 6 out of 7 days of the week since then, the birds will wake me up when I'm trying to fit in an extra hour of sleep before work. In addition to outdoor disturbances, I've been able to hear a drum line (I'm assuming from the school next door) play from 8:30am to around 10:30am on weekdays when I have off. It can all really get to you when you're trying to read in the morning, relax, or catch up on sleep. Throughout the rest of the day, the noise issues are mainly due to residents walking flat footed upstairs and / or doors slamming shut in the hallways. I'm pretty sure it's a combination of walking flat footed combined with the apartment being constructed out of wood, but it really sounds like someone is stomping upstairs . Noises echo and reverberate throughout the building. You can especially notice this when you're in your living room and you hear the neighbors doors slamming shut throughout the day, even though there's a good level of separation between doors. On the good side of things, like most people have been saying, everyone at the leasing office is extremely helpful and kind. In addition, maintenance is very good and timely with responding to requests, as I've yet to have an issue that they didn't fix within a day. These are both very nice to have, but if having a little bit of peace and quiet is integral to your lifestyle, I really cannot recommend Millennium. read more

My husband and I have been here for almost a year now and we love our place. We started in a one bedroom with a 7 month lease and just recently transferred our lease to a 2 bedroom. The apartment layouts are great with lots of storage space (the balcony has a storage closet too). Both apartments have been on the 4th floor and they have higher ceilings. Being 5'1" I have trouble in the kitchen as the cabinets are higher than normal because of the extra high ceilings. The office staff is great in assisting with all our needs. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to requests as well. We've rented the movie theater room for several occasions and had a great time. The location is perfect! Even though we are close to the airport we don't get noise disturbance. International and Westshore mall are minutes away. You can walk to Kona Grill, Cooper's Hawk, and Lee Roy. Overall my husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here the last few months and would recommend others to rent a space here.. read more

My biggest complaint is how rigid an unwaivering they were. I am a physician, and will be moving down in mid July to complete a one year fellowship at USF that ends the following year at the end of July. So essentially I need a 12 month plus a few weeks or 13 month lease. All i wanted was an "estimate" not a absolute written in stone number of how much extra that extra month would be (since they don't offer anything over 12 months, it would have to be month to month) But they couldn't give me any idea. Couldn't tell me if it would be $10,000 or $2 - not the slightest idea. They couldn't give me the price that average person is paying now that is month to month. So basically they think its reasonable for someone to rent a place for a year and then have absolutely no idea what kinda charge they might get for an additional month. This is when all they surrounding rentals seem to offer options for over 12 months. So while they were our favorite in terms of amenities and apartment choice options for our budget they are being thrown out of the option for us. They are losing 2 very professional, quiet, hardworking potential tenants over because they simply could not give a gross verbal estimate of how much an extra month might be or is currently. Not only could she not give me an estimate but failed to even understand why that might be useful. I'm moving 1000 miles for one year and then very likely will be moving again 1000 miles again. I know now how long I need the place for which is 2 weeks longer than 12 months why wouldn't a place be willing to work with someone to make that reasonable. read more

Great management team! Very detailed, extremely helpful staff and very service orientated. Guest focused and the service support for the apartments is immaculate. the manager is way too involved in residents' lives. if the manager does not like you he will charge you extra. he also bends rules for favorites and uses security camera to watch residents perform daily tasks. notice there are no recent reviews, we are all afraid to speak out due to what recently happened, an eviction of a long-time resident due to personal issues between resident and his mentally impaired roommate. the 'upgraded' apartments are nothing more than one usb port and a stove produced within the last decade. the maintenance staff should be renamed, professional band aid affixers. as they love a quick fix at millennium west shore. tour the other three complex within a stone's throw and you will see true luxury, not ghetto-fabish. also tons of insects in courtyard and even pool area read more

I really want to leave a positive review for Millennium Westshore Apts on Spruce - because most of the office and maintenance staff is very hands on, cares and is genuinely interested in your living experience. BUT there are way too many negatives for me to say that I would live there again or provide my personal recommendation, for friends or colleagues to stay here. Most of the office staff is sharp and cares - but there a notable exceptions. The account (male, Don or Dennis I think) is a complete buffoon and I had several monetary errors on my account including double charges, over charges and missed payments because he deleted transactions or web transactions. Financial dealings are important and this complex's financial management with renters is a shambles. Second, the female renter agent would give the valley girls a run for their money - she is always clueless and has no reference information for any business in the office. Completely focused on her personal appearance and any well dressed male that enters the office to the detriment of all other clients who are already conducting business with her. The only two folks who seems to have a clue are Laurie and the other middle aged male rep (sorry forget his name might be Vinnie). They are responsive and have information at the ready. The complex floor plans are nice and have lots of options but the complex allows pets and the pet owners are reckless, irresponsible and rude to non-pet owners. In this gorgeous new and well maintained building...Dog feces, urine are all over the halls - the smell unbearable during hot summer months. The sidewalks around complex are full of dog feces and the smell hideous for anyone with windows that face outside. In the year there - I personally witnessed 7 dog assaults on non-pet owner tenants with no consequences for the pet owners. The office routinely has dogs unleashed and uncollared, who come in with their owners for doggie treats provided by the complex --- again to the disadvantage of the others who have to do business with the office. The number of dogs means there is constant howling, hours on end, especially during storms...and the barking is unceasing at all hours of the day and night. It perplexes me that pet owners are given special status, while non-pet owners are virtually ignored. The pool area is a personal rock n roll party space for a few tenants who dominate the recreation area on weekends with numerous personal guests that flood that area with very loud music, foul language and very pretentious apparel - that no children should every had to be exposed to in their apartment spaces. There is no managerial oversight or correction of inappropriate behavior or extreme guests. The parking garage is a death trap - tenants use this as their speedway, often getting up to 30-40 mph in the very small, narrow space, with blind spots. Pedestrians are a high risk of getting hit every time you leave the space and walk to your apartment - and there are no consequences for reckless driving. Utilities are collected via the rental office and are very expensive. For one person, with very conservative use of water and electricity --- the normal bill was about 8-12 dollars, but there is a 4-7 dollar service charge, for the office doing the bills so often the bills are double what would be charged at apartment units because of the service charge expenses. Kitchen layouts are good, and there are lots of cabinets, but most are very narrow and deep, so bigger pieces must be stored on their side or in other locations. There are tons of great restaurants on Columbia/Boy Scout/Spruce and at the major outside food court area of International Mall and on West Shore. However, the neighbor on the other side (toward Dale Mabry, Lois and Cyprus) is not safe to walk or run for most folks. There is a Walmart about 1 mile away, that is the worst drug, prostitution and theft center for all of Tampa. So unfortunate because there are so many other positives for this area. read more

Living at Millenium has been a pleasure from the minute my roommate and I walked in. Vinny, our leasing consultant, was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and welcoming. He still acknowledges us on a first name basis. The apartment is beautiful, the community location could not be better, and the maintenance is always very timely, going above and beyond when the can if we need anything. Long time resident here. I highly recommend The Mellennium for it's fantastic amenities - theater room, gym, community cafe/kitchen and office, dog park, beautiful pool, and a staff that is always friendly, understanding and helpful. Lots of opportunities for mixers that range from jazz by the pool, superbowl parties, wine tastings, cooking classes, fitness classes, etc.. The staff really makes this a great place to live. The great apartment space makes coming home something I look forward to. There's a definite wow factor to the 1st and 4th floor apartments. read more

We moved in late January and I really love it here, the girls at the office are very friendly and the apartment itself is very nice ( we have the upgraded appliances) they are very pet friendly and there's a lot of room for our pup to play. read more

Millennium has been a incredible experience for my wife and I. We looked at 3 places in the area before moving here 2 years ago. It has the best value out of the area including its sister property, Mosaic. The amenities include movie theatre, pool, quality grills spread around, garage parking, great staff, 24-7 computer room with printing and scanning 24-7 gym always adding great equipment. It's location is convenient to major highways and two malls. It also has the best prices verse area places. The maintenance staff are quick responders for the most part. Our a/c went down on a weekend first year and they took care of us even paying for a portion of our electricity bill. We have been very blessed here. read more
